They need to pick up Cousins, Whiteside, Drummond, or Howard if they want to make it past the first round of the playoffs. I still have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to overpay for Harrell instead of get a steal on Howard. I blame Rich Paul.

Who else is supposed to be blame.
Just 1 championship and he thinks he could shuffle the players and still have another because of Davis and Lebron.
Bad things happen and it's better to have a good back up.
Howard was one of the best that showcased his strength during the playoffs.
That should be enough to keep him. He did expect to stay.

Harrel is still in his prime but with the game earlier with Utah Jazz, it's clear that they can't have a championship without AD. Man, that's a blowout earlier and both their defense and offense are lacking lately. They better rest AD well since he's gone they collecting some losing streak. Thankfully, they were in the top 2 before he got that injury. if it was in the to 7 or 8, then the history will repeat itself like Lebron was injured in the 2018-2019 NBA season they didn't make it to the playoff that year.

The funny thing about that Laker game is Dudley was trending on Twitter for actually getting some playing time at the end of the game. You know that it’s a bad situation when Dudley is getting minutes so that’s never a good thing for the Lakers or Dudley. Gotta give him credit for playing his role though I guess.

Jazz defense are really impressive as well, their team are balance with good offense and defense and if you look at the stats, 5 players of Jazz scored double digits while on Lakers only 3.

How about the All Star snub of Devin Booker.  I thought he deserved to be in.  Phoenix still isn't getting any respect around the league, but they're beginning to earn it.  I suspect a playoff run this year will change things. 

Hell yeah! Why is everyone not talking about Devin Booker, this guy deserve an all star slot, Phoenix has transformed from a shitty team to a serious NBA championship contender although that was when Chris Paul entered the team but still it would not be possible without Booker.

I'm sure if they'll have a good run in the playoffs, by next year fans would already vote for him.
Honestly, I'm excited to see what they can do in the playoffs, as long as Chris Paul is healthy, I know they would pass the first round.

Looks like Booker got his spot on the all star team after all. He’s replacing the injured Anthony Davis. It is well deserved so congrats to him. Looking forward to seeing him in the game and likely the 3 point contest as well. Phoenix representing! 

To be honest, today's NBA has so many good players even the all-star teams cannot fit all of them but luckily this guy managed to get himself in. Anyway, he deserves to be there from the start and now he's really in. Some player Domantas Sabonis didn't make it although he has some skill to be an NBA all-star. like I said, it's a matter of who is the very best it's not just the best.

Yeah to be honest, "the very best" only makes it to the All Star games... We've got many interesting players who kept leading their franchise but haven't got this opportunity, I'd also say that it's the consistency of those selected as some others got the opportunity but didn't keep the flow at regular season.

4th losing streak for the Lakers and 4th winning streak for the Heat.
The Lakers losses this period can be managed, Frank needs to reevaluate their game plan (I support). Of course Jazz was gonna beat them, it was so sure for me.
Heats making me proud, after their poor start this season. There's a chance to return stronger on the table.

Drummond will be a big addition if they ever acquire them. It was really a mistake to get Harrell and Gasol to replace McGree and Howard.

Harrell was really playing above average when he was in the Clippers uniform, but with the Lakers he was exposed as undersized when AD got injured. As for Gasol, I will say that he is not a perfect fit for a running game like the Lakers. He is used to set up picks when he was in Toronto but with the Lakers it was different role for him that he wasn't adjusting.

It could be really one of Lakers' worst games in this season. They had really big problems on offense. I think that Anthony Davis' absence also affects the team badly for sure. Lakers have been losing 4 times in a row and they should find a way out for these problems not to screw up the things in the playoffs. I'm happy that Davis isn't out for whole season and I hope they will be better when he comes back.

They really need to re-evaluate their game plan since their current one doesn't work as they are losing every game they play in the absence of Davis and schroeder. So maybe they should look for better option in their starting line ups also in their bench. Also they should look for better defenders and acquired maybe Drummond or other good players on free agency who can fill the vacant slot so that they can compete and get back on their foots.

This is how bad the Lakers, trading the role players that help them win the championship was a bad idea.
I think if Lebron will be injured and Davis is healthy, they'll do better than the current situation.

He will not miss much. After all star if there will be postponed games played it will take a week or two that will bring us to second half of March and he will be close to returning to the game. Lakers has the ability to win, even though they'll be in the number 8 spot but Davis is healthy, I think they will still be the favorites to win the first round as they are the defending champ. If it's Lakers vs Clippers, I think I would go with the Clippers, but if it's Lakers vs Jazz, I'll go with the Lakers.

Devin Booker is really one of the most disrespected NBA player currently playing because most people are still not recognizing him as someone who can carry a team. Even though we saw what he did last season in the playoff bubble, you really have to admit Booker is All-Star worthy but now that Anthony Davis is only benched in the All-Star game, he will be replaced by Booker. Im really hoping for a good All-Star game.

I am a Warrior fan but don't get me wrong because I am seeing Brooklyn Nets is doing great right now and may top the standings if the 76ers may lose one game if you would look at the Nets winning pattern now they are winning consistently and winning 7 consecutive games right now and if they would win against Magic tomorrow that would be 8, I know this is not a big deal because there are teams that are doing this kind of things like the Golden State back then, but I think that the team is now playing in sync right now in my opinion,

I agree with you on that Nets are doing an amazing thing now. They manage to defeat their opponents even if one or two of KD-Harden-Irving trio doesn't play in the game. This shows clearly that they have a great chemistry. They could even finish the Eastern Conference as the leader. But the main question is whether they will keep up the good work in the playoffs also. But in my opinion, they have the power to make it to the finals and even become the champions.

It is the 76ers which will have a difficult time to snatch the game against the Mavericks.

It was all thanks to Harden for changing his style of playing.
Less dribbling, more shooting and making good plays that rewards him with assists.
He could easily make a triple double now and even without Kyrie before he could still manage to lift the Nets.

But don't forget that there are some incident where heavy favorite loss the game, especially that we are still in the elimination round, there's also some off night from the players. We can assume that Nets can take this win again if they also play as solid like those previous games even without KD. Best of luck!
