Davis and Lebron with dagger 3's to beat the Phoneix Suns and make it a 1-1 series. Good win by the Lakers but I would say that because CP3 didn't play that much in this contest, with just 23 minutes and 6 points, it could have been a different outcome down the stretch.

Not a surprise at all! this two superstars needs to step up in each games that they've got, knowing that the team mostly relied in their shoulders.

Nice win as they really adjusted and make sure that the game is winnable for them.

So Lakers stealing 1 in Phoenix and now they are going back home and with the momentum right now. Let's see if CP3 will play in game 3 to make the match more evenly.

This really exciting, after Lakers snatch a game from Phoenix lets see if how they can manage to take also a game from the Lakers house,

CP3's  presence is really important, it just came to my mind how they almost win against the Warriors if only he play that important game.

Correct. Now 2 games in Dallas and it will a big plus for the Mavs with the crowd on their side this time.
I can't even see what's lacking in the Clippers team. They almost have the best defenders in all positions in the league.
Kawhi, PG13, Pat Beverley, Morris, Rondo and Ibaka and yet they keep on losing. If this goes with a sweep it will be a big disappointment in 2 seasons.
Last year was already a mess, they should not let this one be the worst of their performance.

Maybe. I, personally expected them to disposed of the Mavericks in 5 games or 6 games the most and we tend to forgot that the Mavs is an improved team at the moment with the leadership of Luka.

I just don't know if the Clippers can recover in this series, they must win game 3 and it's not easy doing so as it is a pressure packed game for the Clippers.

Tim Jr, is the big difference in the Mavs and Clippers series, I really don't expect him to be this confident on his shot, he's good but during the series, he is the one who always makes the crucial shoot of the game, and each and every player on the Mavs roosters are always making good decisions, Luka and KP are unstoppable, while the clips are waiting for Leonard to score to carry the team, they are now in trouble if they don't win the 3rd game it's over.

The addition of Luka gives confidence to his teammates thats why we see a better version of Mavs right now, I wonder on where does this team would go as they are totally a good contender for this season. Hopefully they will not choke and can reach to finals since its a good game to watch if they face the stronger teams like Nets,Bucks and Lakers.

It's not easy to make a decision betting against the Clippers when you are looking at the spreads.
IIRC, it was 3x for the Mavericks Moneyline.
The betting sites are like telling you to bet for Clippers and even the sports analysts that I read have the same prediction.
I think it was Clippers -5.5 just to make a decent amount of profit.

First, I hate that because I am not a Clippers fan. Second, they are underestimating the Mavericks too much.
Kawhi is overhyped but it's okay bcoz he really did great with 41 points. As a team? I don't think so. His teammates should not let it go to their heads.

Those who still believe that Clippers could come back, you guys are free to take the odds of 3.00 for them to win in the series. Clippers just need to win at least one game, and that is game 3, then they will have the momentum and I will still trust them to win in game 4 if they'll do it in game 3.

They can limit Luka's scoring but the guy is genius, he can produce in other ways.

Just like last season, the Lakers have now "sacrificed" the first game of the series to find a way to defeat the opponent. And they seem to have succeeded. In the second game of the series, Gasol and Morris appeared on the floor for the Lakers at the cost of THT and Harrell's minutes. It made the game more organized and calmer. Davis also played much better. Overall, it looks like the Lakers are catching their rhythm, which is not good news for the Suns. If Chris Paul does not fully recover, the Phoenix team will be in great trouble to make a close fight with the NBA champions.

Big Adjustment is really needed for them to stay breathing into this series, Luka's magic is very effective with the help of his entire squad. Clippers needs to focus to everyone and not just the starters.

I seen the advantages of teamwork than playing with stars who keeps doing their jobs but the supporting cast are just watching them to do the job, just like what happened last season, it's not just Leonard and PG but it should like the rest of the teams who continue to allow everyone to play hard and contributes.

The brooklyn nets looked extremely strong in their first 2 playoff matches and they should have no problem to advance into the next round if they hold their current level and if they don't have any injuries on their starting players. The celtics just didn't look strong enough to be a threat for them. That being said, the nets would probably look very superior against every team at the moment. They are the big favorite for this championship and probably the only team that can contest the title are the los angeles lakers if everything goes their way.

No injury report for all-star players, Paul had a little injury in game 1 but he is probable to play in game 2.

Turns out CP3 has only become a decoy in Game 2, he played but very limited minutes and a very little contribution. If not because the Suns are lucky, they would not be able to come back, but in the end, they did not have the composure and the defending champ take 1 win on the road.

Payne was the hottest man in the Suns' roster, actually, it's Payne and Ayton, others are really struggling.

Lakers 2-3-4-5.. end in 5. That's my prediction now.

Forget about Paul George, they choke last year so we shouldn't be surprised if the Dallas Mavericks will pull an upset here. They already dig a hole in 0-2 against Luka, it will be very difficult as they steal those games in their homecourt. I expect as sweep as well, and if that happens, there will be some big chances in Clippers, their superstars might request for a trade.

Clippers is not really a great playoff team they have shown that last year and they are showing that this year as well. They barely ended up winning against dallas last year and got eliminated in a spectacular fashion and failed to go to conference finals. So at the end of the day, they are still basically the same team and they are still doing horrible, it is not a shocking to see them doing horrible once again this year.

Last year dallas was missing porzingis and this year they are not missing anyone so they are going to end up maybe losing and maybe last year they would have lost too if porzingis was healthy. On the other game of the day, Lakers showed how great they are on defense and that is why I think it is quite good series, Suns is a good offense team and lakers is a good defense team and that way they are basically reaching to a good level difference.

I don't think they are going to get much of a challenge until they reach the sixers.  Nets will probably throw the sweep in this series.  Tonight a huge game for the other new York team.  Knicks better come out gunning way better than they did last game early on

There's no sacrifice happened. It's called game adjustment and that was what the Lakers did on Game 2.

As you said, some unusual players on the floor also take some extra minutes and that was a part of the new rotation.

But it's not about exchanging at the cost of THT's time. In Game 1, he only played 7 minutes.

I can't call it as Clippers is choking because I considered that as questioning the capability of the Mavericks to beat them just because they are the favorites.

Mavericks is just having a good phase and they are playing in a healthy team right now. They know very well how to handle the Clippers as last year, they also faced each other.

Clippers need some boost on their backup players. Looking at the stats, most of them are playing at worst maybe because the Dallas Mavericks were always able to stop their momentum. A big kudos on how the Mavericks are playing and I'm happy with the outcome as a long-time fan of them. They are @3.5 to win the series prior to the start of Game 2 and so much regret that I wasn't able to put money on them just like I did last year even I know they will be beaten by the Clippers as no help for Luka that time.

Yeah I also though that they are better version this year since theh have amazing rooster addition and also the rondo is there,  but seems their plans didn't take place well so maybe its good to decide next season since maybe they should open to the possibilities to trade their star and re-build their team again.

I don't think it's the clippers who are choking, just the start of a dominant Era from Luka.  If KP was better than advertised Dallas would be a top team.  Luka is doing his best to take his team on his back through series 1.
