Lebron James injured his ankle during a preseason game against Chicago on Tuesday.
It's just a few more days before season starts and looks like he can't play to their season opener game against the Boston Celtics. It was waited by the fans and they are exciting since Irving and James will face off. Even he can play, it's not 100% but more exciting to watch rather than he will just sit and watched the game.

I watched the preseason between the cavaliers and the Bulls, the line was Cavs at -8.5 and they are playing at their home court. The result was very disappointing, I thought they will deliver and give a good show to the fans, they loss against the bulls and they were dominated. It seems like they do not have the chemistry yet, Rose as a point guard now does not blend well on the system their coach has design.
It's not because of chemistry but pre season games is different from regular season. Look at how Cavaliers didn't able to force themselves to take up the lead again during end of third eventhough they can. Plus can't imagined you take the risk of -8.5 spread for Cavaliers on pre season game. That was a risky pick mate. There are a lot of surprises in this pre season so you cannot really rely on the odds alone and how good the team is. Usually starters does not play hard to avoid injury and knowing this will give a gambler a chance to win betting on the bigger odds, just like today, the sixers are +7.5 against the Nets and it seems like they are winning this game so that's a good winning for those who take the ML. Im not really comfortable placing bets on pre-season games. It's like just a practice game so even how good am I for making analyzations, it's useless. Especially when a team is downed for 10+ points on 4th quarter, the bench squad are the ones who are on court now. Im seeing lots of good picks at the current NBA bets but still I don't want to take the risk. I will wait for season games where every win is important. I guess it's just a matter of analysis now, as a gambler we have to do different approach in pre-season and regular season. We don't need to place a bet based on our regular bets because we can play a little just to have fun. Further, I also noticed that most games are going over since they don't show enough defense so I guess we have to bet on the over more and choose the maximum odds if your sportsbook has that available.

As Boston Celtics fan's, I love the current roster. Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward as core. I think they can count as Warrior and Cavalier contender for NBA Title.

Mamba Mentality? Let's see if he can play well now with his new team. I really care about his comment about the new roster of his former team. I'm waiting for a reporter or interviewer that will try to ask him about his feelings that his former team now is one of the crowd favorite because of the addition of Dwyane Wade in that team. But still Celtics is one well known team and I'm not going to underrate it.

What do you mean Mamba Mentality? There's only one Kobe and it can't be replicated not even Kyrie. He has his own mentality but I don't think we can compare them both. Yes, I'm hoping that he has a good start being a Celtics though, However, its just the start of the season so its gonna be a long way for him to really proved his worth on the team. He should get over with the Lebron and Cavs and just focus on his games as the new leader of the Celtics. Gordon Hayward is already past his prime, he can contribute but not like before. He will have his moments, but I doubt he can bring his A game once more.

I hope Celtics management will not be regret for trading Jae Crowder.
He did a great performance throughout the pre season and expect it will show up on the regular season games. A big man that can dominate inside that also have a good hands out from the three point area, awesome guy and really fit for Cavaliers system. Although he is still on building chemistry with the Cavs, surely he can play his usual plays.

Yes he have a pulse at rainbow area even his days at the Boston Celtics that's why other fans really surprised that Celtics gave up this rising star. He was actually a Small Forward but with his athleticism he can also adapt Power Forward position when needed. In their recent game against the Cavaliers, he made 3 out 4 shots from the rainbow area which is pretty good stats. And yes he still under the adapting the system of Lue but surely soon he can cope up.

Jae Crowder is a defensive specialist. What makes him even more special is his contract, very team friendly. But, having watched him play last 2 seasons, he takes a lot of terrible shots. If he can fix that mental issue he will fit in great with the cavs and would be a great asset. Celtics were never going to win with Thomas, he can't defend anyone. That was displayed last season in conference finals as Irving destroyed him.
I'm real excited to see Irving work with Brad Stevens. Could be a special year for him.

Crowder won't be shooting a lot with a team like the cavs. He'll probably hear a lot from the more potent scorers on this time if he does that. There are probably 5 or 6 guys that are a better scorer than him so he'll likely focus on what he's good at which is playing defense

I'm sure he will need adjustment to fit in the system of Tyron and shooting outside will be less of a priority now as compare when we has with the Celtics. But if there are night when he's on fire, I'm sure coach Tyron wouldn't mind Joe Crowder shooting 3's. But he's priority will be on more a defense, would agree. And he is very athletic as well and can play 2 positions. I hope coach Tyron will find him a good place in the Cav's lineup. He's young a lot of improvements can be made and if you can cope with the system, he will soon be a star on his own.

NBA legend Michael Jordan has warned the “superteam” era will create a league with 28 “garbage” clubs that will struggle.
He said this:
“I think it’s going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint. You’re going to have one or two teams that are going to be great and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage, or they are going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment.”
If the priority of the draft choice for the worst teams and the salary cup had to balance the strength of each team in recent years it seems that the gap is increasing. Perhaps it is no coincidence that so many records that seemed unbeatable in recent years have been made easily.

I think that Jae Crowder case was wrong. I don't understand why the Boston Celtics had to get him, he is already 27 years old and I couldn't see him doing anything special at the last season that should get him picked so early. He is a good Small Forward, I agree, but I think that there was better options at the draft pick. Let's hope that the cetics knows what they are doing.

I agree with his statement, NBA is not a real competition but an entertainment, players are paid from the income generated by the team so if the team is not good and fans does not support it they will lose the market and that is not a win-win for the players and the owners. I'd like to see players who has balls like Westbrook because he stay and prove he is better even without durant.

But look at him now he got George and Anthony though its early to celebrate but for sure they got the winning chances now even competing with super teams and with MJ statement it can be a challenge to overall management of this league as we knew things will not be good for those teams which can't afford to build and pay superstars.

I will point the blame to players itself and the team management itself. Superteam is a team consist of players who are still in "PEAK" without any strong competitors outside. Where does this started? When Kevin Durant joined Golden State Warriors. Warriors doesn't need KD and when KD joined the squad, Warriors is currently the dominant team in the league. For those who wil say that superteam era nowadays began when Lebron joined Miami, you are wrong guys. Back in that season, there are lots of teams who are dominant like Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and my favorite, Dallas Mavericks. Miami Heat didn't even grab the NBA champ title back then. If we will take the concern today, I don't consider recent trades as superteams. Why? Because players involved are not in prime anymore. OKC is a super team for example? for me NO. Houston Rockets, still no. Cavaliers, again no.

And I can't blame them because one thing that is missing from this great players are rings and that is what will make things complete for them. But look what will happen even some playoffs teams have lost their hope on winning a championship.
