Hornets gave 76ers a better game instead of just winning on a big lead.
A sudden come back from Kemba at the 4th quarter while he is off at 1st to 3rd. I did not see that coming and they really gave the 76erd a hard time to win the game. Going to overtime Embiid started making good shots while the big men of the Hornets are fouled out.

A lot of blocks from Embiid and also great assist from Ben. These two are becoming one of the great pairs in  NBA.

Joel Embiid did a huge part with 40+ points the match,i think he clutched this match,when Kemba Walker goes into a hot streak its hard to stop,anyways a great match,the match went into over with a win for phila.

Lebron is said to be using a million dollars each year to keep his body fresh, from freezing machine thingy to chefs to personal staff keeping trach he really is keeping his body in shape and spends a lot of money to it. Considering he usually "coasts" regular season as well I do not see how he can be really healthy every single season, I have never seen Lebron working hard on defense in any of his seasons for the past 10 or so years.

Dude has been just playing offense since he went to Miami. Now he is a bit older and his team is not as good as some of the other teams he played and more importantly he is on the west and not east so he might have to play a bit better if he wants to see playoffs at all but I am sure the "he can play until 38 like this" is probably true, he won't be as dominant without a good team around him at west conference but he will still be Lebron nevertheless.

THE MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES DID IT!!!! THEY TRADED JIMMY BUTLER AWAY!!!!

Main pieces involve includes Philadelphia 76ers sending Robert Covington and Dario Saric to the Wolves. I think that Minnesota won this trade as they actually got rid a toxic player which has also an expiring contract for two players that can help the young core until 2020. Covington an all defensive first team player can help the Wolves in defense while Saric can be a good backup for Gibson. Yes a lot of fans think that the Timberwolves got robbed but I think it is the other way around since this trade actually send some players that can help the team in the future.

I'm sure the entire Sixers nation is happy to welcome a star player. I know they were hoping to land LeBron this summer but Jimmy ain't no scrub and everything you had to give is Covington and Saric, it's definitely a great deal for Philly. Covington and Saric are decent role players, don't get me wrong, but when it's playoff time you need proven players. If only they take Fultz out of the starting lineup and put JJ back (+ Chandler for spacing): Simmons/Redick/Jimmy/Chandler/Embiid that's a pretty good starting lineup.

As for the Timberwolves, it's an OK deal I guess. I don't see how this trade makes them any good. At least the locker-room tension/drama is behind them and they can focus on playing basketball.

In paper it looks like the team is really solid with the addition of Jimmy Butler for Sixers. But the question is, will Jimmy not bring his diva attitude to Philly and not cause another drama in the locker room?

I guess they just wanted to get rid of Jimmy at this point and willing to make any trade eventhough its not a OK deal, at least the way I see it. They needed defensive player so I don't know how Covington and Saric can bring something in the table for them.

The Warriors got dominated by the streak breaker Bucks but they showed their heart today with a big bounce back against the Brooklyn Nets.
Playing without Draymond Green for the 2nd time around and without curry of course, yet they still find the way to win, good adjustment as it resulted to a good shooting night.

Yeah there are some changes with their plays but it looks like they are good at a sudden one. Their chemistry is really enough to make new plays. That is why even when their best players are out, they could still go through it.

How about Phoenix against New Orleans. 12 points for Booker. Jrue Holiday gave him a real hard time to score and not just that, a difficult time to even receive the ball. Jrue made Booker his wife.

Livingston, Green and Curry is absent. But Durant took over and has some nice assist to go to. Klay did his thing and its a total team effort as everyone scramble and play good defense.

This is an obvious loss for the Sixers. Butler's career is at its prime already although he can contribute to the team. They traded 2 starters in their team against only one and both of them are good contributors to the Sixers team.

Anyway, its too early to say. I maybe see another big three on the Sixers. Butler, Embiid and Simmons + Fultz and Redick maybe. Lets see how Butler wil contribute on his new team now that he's traded already.

Jimmy Butler already is playing with an expiring contract already, and has stated previously that there is no guarantee that he will be resigning with the team that he has traded to. Considering that and Minnesota receiving two key players that won't outshadow KAT and Wiggins I think that they could help the team right away. With D Rose playing like his old self this team might actually make it to the playoffs even with the West being filled up with powerful teams. They just need time to adjust with the new players, but I heard that the trades are not yet finish for the team.

I do not agree much with this trade. They shouldve waited more.

It's time for my third pick/bet of the regular season, let's see if I can go 3/3.

ATL @ LAL  Lakers handicap -10.5 @ 1.95 (it was -9.5 just two hours ago). Here's why:

• Well, of course, it's the home court advantage, even though I'm breaking one of my main rules which is never bet if you are biased about team/player
• Last game v Kings, no matter how weird it may sound, but Lakers actually played defense for the first time this year...haha I shit you not
• Lakers on a two-game win streak, I expect a blowout win, although that Mavs comeback 10 days ago is concerning
• Hawks are also on a nice little streak L, tanking is their number one priority as well as letting Trae take 25+ shots a night

They need chemistry in order to win and when that chemistry will blend properly then I think they have a chance to win in the East, but
they cannot underestimate the Raptors who have Leonard now and the Raptors have been playing as well. These 2 teams are my favorites in the East.

Only if he can change he's attitude then he's on the right spot, Simmons and Embiid are a quality players from there positions respectively, if butler can add some spice as a scoring machine and play for the team and for himself alone, sixers might get a good chance we can't deny the star quality of butler
only he's attitude needs to be developed and blend a good chemistry with he's new team.

Great game for the Portland Trail Blazers against Boston Celtics.
The lead was so high until the Boston took the game back creating good shots. But again the Portland's offensive awareness have made them win thd game.

A different game for Damian Lillard making his season high assist for just the 1st quarter.
Aminu giving them the game winner shot though.

I am not too sure which team worked out best on this trade which says a lot. I know jimmy butler is an amazing player and I am sure he will help sixers a lot and definitely worth more than just saric and covington but thankfully basketball is not made up off just talent and skill. It is a good part but not the only part. If Jimmy Butler plays well and really works hard just like his early days than he can make a huge difference in Sixers and take them over to Celtics and Raptors level, however if he just becomes cry baby and doesn't get along with his teammates than the sixers just lost a good 3&D player and a good stretch big for nothing. So, basically "who won this trade" will be answered by Jimmy either playing well or destroying the team chemistry, we will have to wait and see.

I just watched the hi-lights on Youtube and indeed it was a great game. As Portland was able to build a good lead until Boston came back strong late third and early fourth quarter, but they're able to hold the Boston Celtics back so the game is very exciting. Lilard was expectacular and Portland as they're now on a 4 game winning streak and sitting 2nd place behind behind GSW in Western Conference.

Lebron once again missing two free throws in a row at the end of a game they were 1 point behind, they could have easily lost this game and dropped under .50 just because Lebron can't shoot free throws under pressure.

Dude is a 76% free throw shooter, I highly doubt he usually misses 2 in a row that frequently, but whenever it is a real deal last second thing he keeps missing. He said he is trash at free throws right now and he hopes to get back in rhythm but I doubt it, he is getting older and his weaknesses started to show with first free throws, I am pretty sure his athleticism won't be the deal breaker but I think his shooting from the floor will be the next one to go.

Lakers really need to act quickly and surround him with some stars, I don't know who and how but they need it right away this summer, no playing no games just get the best.
