I also agree with you that these 2 teams are the closest team that can beat GSW but as they say, the ball is round. We saw it on Game 7 of the WCF where the rockets went from 0/27 from threes. They are known for the D'Antoni offense but got wrecked in threes.

I believe Cousins want a championship too so he agreed with a one year deal even the salary is low. Lets see if how Boogie will contribute to the Warriors.

Well as far as the previous reply is concern, Mike D'Antoni surely knows how to blend that chemistry. It's just that he will see if that will become effective once season came.

He knows Carmelo Anthony well during their New York Knicks days so I think he does have a thing in mind now (well he is a veteran coach so Im sure he knows what he will do) how will Melo adopt the Houston Rockets playing style.

Im not just sure if Melo will be placed at starting lineup. If does, then that will be a big adjustment.

It sure is. It means a lot of hard work and putting your life on the line just so you could get it.
This guys almost perfected the attendance of the season for them to get that MVP.
Westbrook changing his gameplay and letting the team be better by his kind of game. Assist and Rebounds is one unique stats for a guard. Jason Kidd is well known for that and now he is a Legend. Perhaps Westbrook could get that kind of respect also once he continues playing that type of game.

Yes I agree that the game has evolved and its more focus on shooting on the outside rather that giving the ball on the middle and let the Center get inside, and if he is trap, or double team, pass the ball outside. Now, its the other way around, and more of a alley hoop pass to the Center. That's why is difficult for Sixers and Joel to win a championship at this level of competition. Team should have a deadly shooter like Curry, or Harden, or a big guard/forward like Lebron is. I believe Ben Simmons who is teammates with Embiid has a bigger potential to be a MVP one day. He can score (even tho he lacks shooting) semi-decently and if he learns how to score properly than that part is done, he can rebound very well at his age, he will only get better, he has amazing passing, he is not a "playmaker" but a passer, just like how stockton was the best playmaker we have ever seen but magic was the best passer, ben simmons is more like magic rather than stockton in that regards. He can block thanks to his height and athleticism.
