What a touching scene in Staples Center as they gave Dwayne Wade a tribute video.
At least somehow that video covered the embarassing moment of Lonzo Ball with a missed uncontested just below the rim. Well he did some highlights later on to also covered that embarassment (alley opps , dunks etc).

I was trying to check the internet for that video because I haven't watched their game. I just saw this one, the full highlights of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8toouUPkrBAMaybe it's going to be included in Shaqtin a fool? Lol. I think that's just human nature, once a wrong has been made, it sticks to your head and always remembers that. It shouldn't be seen like that. I have read some articles regarding Lonzo that he is not fit in the current Lakers.

Lakers winning again and I think the one that is improving is Kuzma, this young and very good shooter is going to be Lebron's best buddy. Nice to see them winning consistently and still in the playoff spot, I hope the upcoming trade will help them improve as a team.
Also, the warriors are winning again.. They are completely healthy now.
At the very beginning that Kuzma went it he already shine with his superstar genius moves. Just underrated. Well it is NBA, they will pick only those whom they want ti be stars. Even Melo is still protected by that. Ariza had been in Lakers with Kobe and Walton does know him too. I thinkvit would be an easy chemistry for them adding this guy. Defense and offense he can both give it to them. I remember when Booker was out with an injury, there is no one to rely in scoring for the Suns and then suddenly Ariza took that position and he can really score. It will be a good addition. It's proven that he is a role player, what he did with the Lakers and the Rockets when he was still playing is something worth remembering. He may not be for the future but while he still can, he can help the Lakers to compete with big teams in the NBA, especially the warriors whose Lebron's nightmare.

Christmas is coming around which means we have already seen what we need to see from teams and how they are so far, the first couple games even up to 10 games could be flukes but after this point of the season I do not think anything will change unless there is an important trade. For example Chandler was a big major sign for Lakers that changed so much for them, without a backup Center they sucked so bad but they are much better now, unless something like that happens we saw what we need to see from teams.
From what I gather it will be another horribly boring season for the west conference and finals since Warriors are still clearly best team by a LARGE margin, I was hoping they will have some championship tiredness and will start to not care but the sheer talent of them keeps them away from everyone else. Maaaaybe eastern conference will have some fun match-ups but even that is doubtful so far.

I don't think that Ariza can bring any more to the Lakers. They already have Stephenson to guard the opposing team's forward and they pretty much blend in, the chemistry is already great so no need to disrupt it again. If Warriors is the team they'd worried then they have to think of someone who can guard Curry, but that's impossible.

Really a tough job for defenders to stop the warriors. More often when people defend curry, they will make Durant and Thompson open. This is what makes the warriors difficult to defend.

I've been busy with my job here since the semester is ending and I didn't even know Dwayne Wade is having his last game against Lebron James. People said that they are great teammates Lebron and Wade, I agree but the era of the time that I knew a lot of basketball players is ending. The players I usually watched in the past that is still playing are now countable, time is quickly passing and I hope I can still see Dwayne playing even if it is not in the NBA.

It is possible but you cannot look at what is happening when GSW is on offense. You will have to keep your eyes to him. Screens are the killers. The team mate who will switch will have to let it go and just go back to getting back the scored point by Curry. A fight against the screener might work but it will be exhausting. What a touching scene in Staples Center as they gave Dwayne Wade a tribute video.

Watched that game and at the last second of the game Dwayne just go running to Lebron that is like he is fouling him but it was just a joke then they laughed. So good to see ex team mates having such a good time playing the game. Wade made some good plays on that game that made him look younger again.

Spurs are finally at .500 again but Derozan scored only 5 points, by comparison Byrn Forbes shot 5 three pointers and made all 5 three to help the team win today but this inconsistency at Spurs is killing them, one day Aldridge plays bad one day Derozan plays bad, sometimes their bad games collide and they lose badly. They need to find a way to bring their %100 every single game to actually matter in the league again.
Aside from that Lakers apparently is getting Ariza for sure, sources from Woj already said that earlier, lets hope Suns doesn't give up too much and get nothing in return, they are paying Ariza well but he deserves it, without him they might as well get some future picks, Suns is not going anywhere anytime soon but Lakers could contend as early as this year (probably next) so picks for Ariza would work for both teams.

That Kuzma will become a big name after some years, he really have the skills that can bring the game on fire, lebron trusting him a lot so we see good ball movements and the entire lakers are feeling the fun, this last game of Wade really shows how good players can be its all about the game but old teammates really cares good pals always being remembered.

I watched just few minutes of the game but I observed that DeRozan is not his usual self because he moves so slow. Perhaps he is nursing something or just opt to pass the ball more. But I do agree that they needed to be consistent. Their top 2 players are not performing at the same level. They needed to work it out otherwise we won't see them in the playoffs. Its really fun to watch Lebron and Wade having their final game. And you can see from the interviews that both of them are really good and close friends as Lebron keep praising Wade and that they keep pushing each others as team mates or opponents. Emotional, but it is what it is. Maybe we can see Wade sometime in the future as having a position in the Basketball operations of Miami, who knows.

True. It seems like they need a new rotation. More like if DeRozan is not working then use ths 2nd stringers even if they are still in the first quarter with a lot of time. I am guessing Pops already knew about this. Chemistry of the Spurs are a whack by now. They need more training sessions to make the plays work. It seems like at 100 percent of their plays they only do it successfully 10 percent per game. It is more of an isolation and it is not working quite well but 2nd stringers can do it.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are back in some kind of slump again and it is not good seeing them giving up more than 110+ points every game, this just show that the defense of them somehow worsened after their match against the Hornets. The only good news I see is KAT playing consistently and finishing the game with another double-double other than that is Wiggins is back scoring 20+ ppg on his last 4 games which is definitely a big improvement compared to the game he had with the Bulls where he made 0 points.

So it's now confirmed who will the Los Angeles Lakers give up for Trevor Ariza's deal. It's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
But unfortunately, as of the latest trade updates, the trade is now failed. The reason? Phoenix Suns want a piece of another Lakers youngsters (Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart) on which the latter refused.
I wondered now if KCP will still give his 100% to the Lakers now that he knows the team is willing to take part ways to him.

I think it's not about giving your 100% but we know they are professionals so they should play the way they play as long as there are on that team no matter what the circumstances are.

Wade is really one of the best to play the game, I know he will never rank in the top 10 in any discussion ever but a player is not great because of his rankings but what he brought to the game.
Dude won one ring with Shaq when Shaq was not at his best and basically lead that team to the ring, he won with Lebron too and we all know what Lebron does to his teammates, he either makes them or breaks them, Kevin Love was one of the best Power Fowards in the league and than became a role player, Kyrie is one of the best point guards in the league and went head to head against Curry and he ran away from Cavs, Bosh became another role player.
Not Wade, wade stood his ground and earned the respect of his peers and managed to toe to toe Lebron on leadership and that created a great friendship. Doing what Wade did in this league is rare and he will be missed when he retires.

Wade is one of the most overrated players of all time. He wouldn't even of won in 2006 without Shaq. I know he had a good finals performance but without Shaq's dominant play throughout that season they wouldn't of made the finals. Wade has never been a good shooter and he has declined very rapidly in his 30s because he relied too much on his athleticism. You could even argue he was a worse player than Bosh while on the Miami Heat.

Literally you are right, yes. But somehow there is an "inside stuff" wherein a certain player will not be comfortable now in a team due to a certain reasons. There are common examples here. Well anyways, let's see what's next for the Lakers knowing that we already know who will be on their trading list if they take up another deal. Philadelphia Sixers is also part of that supposed trade deal and they will part ways with Markelle Fultz. Sixers is now busy enhancing their lineup.

I guess it would be great if the sixers will retain Fultz in their line up for he is young and athletic. Having Embeed and the prince, I guess they will need a point guard which could run the play for them. If they do trade Fultz then they might be looking for some veteran guard or a more on playmaking point guard rather than a scoring one.
