It is really great to see a center playing with average speed and have some great skills.

Nikola Jokic. He have been really dominating the paint and using his body to score and to create space for his team mates.

He is like more of a Shaq with some new flavors in him.
Denver Nuggets dont have much of a problem shooting the ball because they trust the guy underneath the rim that he might get an offensive rebound.
That is a big boost for a team.

Winning against Toronto is a big deal. Now we can see a new contender for the Finals.

Westbrook is one of the most accomplished basketball players we have in our league right now. The only reason why he is so stuck at shooting is that they are not creating a good style of playing as a team to give Westbrook any free shots. Look at Curry for example, he is one of the best shooters in the league and some of the shots he makes are so incredible that sometimes I have hard time believing those shots went in. However even with that type of talent they manage to play the screen game so well that curry constantly gets free shots as well, specially Klay gets amazing off the Drible shots. Westbrook on the other hand gets isolation all day long and try to score over his defender every single time, not because that is who he is but because Billy Donovan is a bad coach who doesn't have a clue how to draw a play.

Yeah they are a real contender at this moment. I think they have the chemistry that they are finding. Westbrook and George are the top 2 in steals this season and other players are stepping up to help them. Easy win for the Thunder today against the Bulls and a triple double for Westbrook.

Stephen Curry becomes the 5th Warrior with 15,000 regular-season points and Kevin Durant passed Larry Bird for the 33rd place in all time scoring list.

When all is said and done I honestly believe Kevin Durant has a shot at breaking 40 thousand points mark.

I have not check the latest score difference and the years Kevin could play but he is scoring like its nobodies business and has already covered a lot of grounds yet he is still quite young. If he stays in warriors or goes to another good team with another good player it will take him close to his retirement to pass and he can even postpone his retirement couple years extra just to pass it because it will be such a close number.

However, if he goes to a team where he is the star and there are no others that could play like him, he will probably break the record quite early and retire early as well cementing his HoF status easily. It is just insane to think warriors have been so good for so long now, you think it is just couple years but it has been 4-5 years now.

Yes that's possible a) if he will remained healthy, b) maintained at least 25 to 30 PPG and c) will not show a sign of slowing down for several seasons to come. That's a hell of effort and really a difficult one to achieved. Even with superstars around (for let's say he decided to stay at Warriors for 2 seasons or above) reaching minimum 25 points per game is kind of usual to him so what if he will be transfer on a team with only few core players.

A little late, but I still want to comment on this strange and funny failed NBA trade.

It was a three-team deal that would send Ariza to Wizards, Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers to Memphis, and first reported Dillon Brooks to Suns.

According to Grizzlies, it was MarShon Brooks, not Dillon.

In the end, it turned out that Memphis and Suns had no direct contact during this trade and left Washington to manage the whole process.

Suns thought they would pick Dillon, Memphis thought it was MarShon Brooks, Wizards think they were told Dillon...haha what a mess.

Not surprised that it happened to a team like PHO, this organization is run so poorly for the past 10+ years.

I mean they have veterans in their midst and these guys wont just accept little offers. They have managers that will  make them think again if the offers are low.

They may need to release a lot of player just so they could receive AD in their roster.

I would say no.. AD doesn't eating up much the whole team salary cap. His current contract is $127M 5-years contract on which is a usual value on a 5 years contract basis (started 2014).  New Orleans wants AD to stay with them that's why as far as the latest speculations are concerned (on which I think is close to happened) , they will offer a $250M max contract extension to him this summer. And I think that will now lead for Pelicans to inability to acquired a somehow good role players.

AD also stated that he is willing to gave up the big offer because he wants to prioritize in acquiring a ring.

The Pelicans must change their roster next season. AD can't single-handedly get a ring in his team. Lebron went to Heat and teamed up with Wade and Bosh and they got 2 rings. Bryant and Shaq got 3 rings I think together. Splash Brothers + KD got 2 rings together.

Nobody can get a ring alone. I mean you need an all star teammate to win a championship so AD must leave Pelicans and go to a team with an all star player to have a higher chance to get a ring

The Utah Jazz just proven they can beat the Warriors at home, there is no luck in here unlike the previous game because of the tip in.
Once again, their defense killed the warriors and despite Mitchell has struggled, they were still able to win through their good outside shooting, Korver with some limited minutes were able to show his value to the team.

Nets beat the Lakers, that would have been a regular thing to say in the previous couple of years but when Lebron is there and you are getting a 20+ point performence out of your least efficient player Lonzo Ball it makes no sense to lose to them. They didn't used any proper bench players as well, they made their players go for 35+ minutes and even played Lebron for 41 minutes, which makes no sense at all.

This is a regular season game and I can understand losing to anyone even to suns but losing to nets while keeping your starters for that long and tiring them out is really insane. Lakers really really need to fix this and really just work on a "system" they can build around so they can be more like warriors who has great players but also amazing offensive scheme.

You cannot underestimate the Nets, they are an improving team now, and could be a playoff contender. Lakers lose , that's normal, as normal as the Celtics losing at home against the Suns. The real game is in the playoffs and everyone is finding ways to stay in the top 8 spot to quality.

Lakers really really need to fix this and really just work on a "system" they can build around so they can be more like warriors who has great players but also amazing offensive scheme.

I think they are finding ways to improve their system, in fact their standing has improved, currently no. 4 now in the western race.

Sometimes stronger teams got beaten. I am not saying that Lakers is a strong team but they are still vulnerable specially if the other team really did a good job in their defense.

Suns won 4 games in a row for first time in devin bookers career. Thats both a great thing to hear but also a sad thing to hear. Ayton is making a difference, he is not a joel embiid level player but he is definitely good. Suns are doing a tanking job but I am not sure how good they are doing it yet. They got booker which is a great scorer (70 points is 70 points no matter how he got it) and they got Ayton which is a great big for them but that is just it, for the past 5 years they sucked so bad that you would expect them to have at least one more good player. Now they got oubre somehow but they really need to draft one more potentially team changing player this year to actually compete for playoffs and even that probably won't be enough on west conference, if they were at east they might had a better chance in the future.

Not because Lakers has Lebron, they should always won on a low seeded teams (15 wins Nets against 18 wins Lakers not that really a large gap).

That kind of thinking will always just lead into failed expectations. Rather than thinking why Lakers lose, why not give credits instead to the effort of the whole Nets team? Former LAL D'Angelo Russell, Joe Harris, Dinwiddie etc. they played good overall.

Again this is just the scenario of Lakers Win = no commet ; Lakers Lose = criticism.
