Warriors made a big statement in game 1, without Durant they do better, especially Curry.
I guess Durant will not worry anymore resting longer, we like to see them this way, the old warriors is back now. Sorry Blazers, you cannot win at the Warriors home.
As I thought. It will happen. They have been a new Warriors Team ever since KD came. Why? They got dependent. They knew KD can score by himself so they let him do that for like 30 mins of the game. No more rotation of the ball and a lot more offense for KD instead of being divided to everyone. Klay got so cold because of that. But look at Klay now. He is always hot at any position of the court. Now Curry is also back. Look at how the ball rotates. Everyone is having a second to touch that ball which is a great thing if you are a player. It boosts your confidence. Trail Blazers have so many things to discuss now. The switches is a priority. Game 1 is a visible weakness of Portland. They cannot switch because Kanter is afraid no one will rebound the ball after a shot. Trust your team mates or just contest the shooter first. Do not think about one problem after another.

~snip~ .....so much for the Lillard and Mccollum show. Lillard is off for the last 2 games, including the recent, don't know if he is having some injury or the defense of the warriors are just too physical. They area really moving fast, if they are like a dancer, they dance gracefully on the floor. No one on one plays like Durant, and as a result the good scoring of Curry and Thompson was displayed. Is it just me? Game 1 is boring. Even without KD, still Warriors is too much for them. It's like the series between GSW and POR has been decided even if it's not done yet. Well, it's GSW era. I expect this to be done in Game 5, or if they can't stop the duo of Klay and Steph this will end as sweep. Hope the Eastern Finals won't be boring like Western. The only way of stopping Klay and Steph is to overpower them by making more shots and scoring more points that him and I don't see that possible with Portland. Maybe they can do it for 1 game, maybe two but McCollum and Lillard can't keep the pace for 5-6 games because we've seen many games where only one of them performed well. For me Portland = McCollum + Lillard because without them this team would not even compete in the playoffs while Golden State has much more firepower than that.

I think Durant doesn't need to come back at all. Blazers vs warriors could be done in 4 games as well, I mean it could definitely be a 5 game or hell even 7 game who knows but it looks like sweep is quite possible, if warriors lose one game then maybe Durant could come back for the 5th game and get some prep time for the finals but honestly I feel like even without Durant for all of this playoffs warriors could easily beat both blazers and raptors/bucks.
Durant is a player that puts you above everyone else and makes you invincible but without Durant warriors are not a bad team, they deserve to be the best team out of last 4 even without Durant. Last nights game was just pure fun and they didn't even worked too hard to win it, the game was over in the first minute.

Thinking that 6.5 points is far to generous to give the Raptors tonight Durant or not the Warriors will defeat Toronto/Bucks

They wont become Champions if they aren't capable and that should be put up in mind for those people who do keep saying that Warriors do rely or depend on KD.They steal out a ring without him so it wont be surprising that they would make the same thing again. GSW is a strong team and they have proven it out but I do disagree on your point that seeing the game was over in the first minute which I don't see the same thing since Blazers do really give out some fight but Warriors is much more better in the end of the day.

Bucks has been consistent in the playoffs against the Celtics, IIRC, they won 20+ points in their last 2 games at home.

Warriors defense is their offense, their plays are so fast so if opponents want to beat them they've got to outscored them as it is impossible for the opponents to guard the Warriors run and gun type of offense. Just wonder though, i bet on + for the total score but still lost .

Bucks may also lose tonight and come back on game 2.

That's possible, but it's just game 1, Bucks can win on the road so I would not think that the Raptors will win the series because they win game 1. It's still too early, Bucks were able to make a comeback but Raptors now take the lead again, that's how fast they can make a run, Let's enjoy the game tonight, I still believe in the Bucks to win despite still down now.

I'd give game 1 to the Raptors already, except there is an early rally from Bucks in the 4th quarter: Pascal Siakam with that buzzer beating 3 to make it a 7 points lead for Raptors going into 4th quarter, Raptors have been pretty solid at defence forcing Bucks to shooting from outside, and they are doing that ineffectively.

Sorry mate, Bucks took it in the 4th quarter and won the game. Game 2 might still be the Bucks here, but a more dominant performance. The commentators said Raptors maybe feeling the fatigue, but no excuse, a loss is a loss.

I thought that the Raptors will steal Game 1 on the road but they run out of steam in the 4th quarter. Lots of turnovers, missed shots etc. The Fatigue is also a factor for them so the last quarter is the time for the Bucks to regain the lead. Anyway, good game for both of them. I didn't see Giannis defending Kawhi and vice versa but its a close game. I will not be surprised if this will go to a Game 7 . It will be more exciting to watch

I disagree, have you seen the last series, bucks loss 1 game at home, it's the first game, but win the next 4 wins. Even if they will loss, I would not underestimate this team, they are hungry to win and they are the better team, they rally from a big deficit this game and get a win in the last quarter. It would be different if they are leading the game because they won't give up the lead.

They really had a good chance to win, actually in the first three quarters, they are ahead. They just loss steam in the last 10 minutes or so. Lowry provided the spark for the team, but the rest including Leonard had a bad shooting. Maybe they are really tired and exhausted after a gruelling series against the Sixers. But I'm sure they will be back next game and try to steal game 2.

I'm with you, whoever wins deserved it to represent the east, they both workout that hard and face tough opponents before landing to this series, Giannis and Kawhi have the leadership to lift their teammates they needed a lots of help coming from them. Game 2 will still be for Bucks as they will do their best to keep the home court advantage.

The raptors sure had minimized Giannis output but still they lost to the other match-up.
Therefore they need to go back to their old plays, they have to do individual defense than focus their defense on Giannis. Lopez step up his game and also Bledsoe has done well in breaking the raptors defense. Though it's too early to celebrate but I guess it's a Buck's series and they will end it in 5 games.
It was Lopez who really made a impact and he got his season high this night in points. Bucks just prove that they are always ready for the challenge and they don't easily give up, we've seen it in the game 1.
