Since his in the rehabilitation for his injury, I think fans are a bit worried if he still can make it to the MVP race or he will be left behind by his competitors. Since Doncic will still be nursing for his injury, his competitors will be ahead of him in terms of statistical points and that would be hard for him to coup up. Anyways, as long as he can return healthy, the Dallas would be regaining their morale for their goals.

Who would not get worried with that sweet face of him? 
The skills he have is already a plus to us. I love how he played already even before when he is not making those triple doubles.
My wife even told me that I already got a crush on him. 

The guy is just really that good for people to hype his name. Dallas really made a good pick into which player will be the face for their team.
He just did some improvement and it is worth it.
I don't care if I am overreacting over all this things. I just want him back to see those good moves again. 

He better take some time to fully heal before he comes back as he is an important piece on the team.
If he comes back this month, better, but if not, next year would be alright since they still have a good standing.

They are no. 3 now and with the games without him, if the team can at least make 50% win, then they would not drop a lot.
As long as they are in the top 8, the chance is still alive as for sure when Luka comes back, he will help the team to rise in ranking since the injury was just a sprain.

Its already been cleared out that he would come back to play on this month so it means it isnt really that a bad injury.

The overreaction by the fans shows how they feel for the young star player, they want to see him play because they are hopeful that Mavericks will be successful this season in making to the playoffs, and of course when they are on the playoffs they will not be just a heavy underdog as Luka is doing magical things that could give their team a possibility to upset a heavy favored teams.

I feel that but have they not played basketball before or seen other NBA players sprained their ankles? That is a very normal injury to receive such a reaction.

Which is right, he still in the race and even he will missed some games and comeback with the same or much higher levels of stats the chance of being picked for the MVP race still have a very high chance. Luka's performances from those past games brings a heavy impact with the fans. This one of those criteria which will be considered. Better recovery no need to rush him up it's best for the entire franchise.

But I think it will be more than that. Luka might be really aiming for the championship and not just that award.

Miami on the other hand got Butler and like Dallas we knew they would get better, I mean who wouldn't be better with Butler than without Butler but who could have guessed them being second in east with such a good record?

OKC was basically tanking as far as we saw, they had to trade PG13 so they went full tanking mode and gave Westbrook as well but right now they are the 8th seed, I am not saying they will be in playoffs because they are on a thing line there but I would have expected them to be dead last in the rankings.

Luka Doncic's injury isn't that serious and from the latest news I have seen he will be ready to get back on court after Christmas which is only 4 games. About Dallas being the 3rd seed this early on the season I don't see no surprised their especially when you think about the whole NBA having a major rebalancing when it comes to superstars going to other teams basically you won't see a big three anymore but all teams are now built with dynamic duos where a team like Dallas have a good chance of winning on most of their games especially when they have Doncic averaging almost a triple-double per game.

This is like the first impression lasts. We see how consistent they are but yes, it's not the indicator if they'll be reaching the playoffs. I honestly, want to see them with the young superstar gets a spot on the playoffs and even further.

If you had a doubt, they are currently top 3 in Western Conference. I look in the standing and I can say the top 5 teams in West has a guaranteed spot in playoffs. Their stats are pretty fine makes them safe from falling out. As for injury you saying, it's not like all of their player were going to have injury. Just in case their top scorer will have a serious injury(hope not), they still have players who can step up and maintain their playoff spot. Maybe not in top3 but still inside 8 seeds.

Well if they have been cursed and lost Luka and Porzi at the same time then they could drop from the playoffs. But Luka's injury as per report is not that bad, so chances are they could play very well and could land in the 3-5 (worst) spots and obviously can make it to this year's playoff.

I'm thinking you are right.  Think the bucks are only favored by 10, I can see this game get out of hand early and see the bucks leading by 10-15 by halftime alone.  They are the real deal, excited to see the bucks lakers game soon.  Bucks -10 should be a decent bet.  Can see a 125-100 type of game here.

You would think that Luka being out the line would be at least 13 to 14 and with the Bucks dominating at home I think this 10.5 line could be a trap and the Mavs could cover as most will jump on the Bucks to cover. I think the Grizzlies is the best to cover tonight, I got them to cover the +4.5 and I also like the Blazers to win.

That's not gonna be the case. Statistically, his numbers wouldn't drop and will stays the same as he miss a few games. He will still be at the top of MVP race. In spite of that, MVP race doesn't purely base on stat sheets, but with everything like media, popularity, impact to the team, and list goes on.
So, there's nothing to worry about. Just be thankful his injury isn't worse.

Giannis remains unstoppable and I think if Giannis can generate like 30 points or more and I am seeing the dallas mavericks here to struggle.

OMG! I am shocked too. Dallas could win against a strong Bucks without Luka.
This just proved something. The Mavericks are now upgraded. It seems like their chemistry is getting better now.
Despite the 48 point double double of Giannis somebody stepped up for the Mavericks.
