@dunfida, Lebron needs to be playing soon because they can't handle a team without them, this reminds me of the last season when Lebron was injured and the team is messing up, Davis is good but he can't do it alone, they need Lebron to lead the team as he is the leader, the loss against the Nuggets exposed their poor defense and ball rotation.

This is still regular season though and the line up of Lakers still competitive even LeBron is resting. But you are correct the defense is messing up coaches needs to enhance and improve this section. This Lakers team is a complete package and already have a final's slot chance if LeBron will play healthy.

They need to improve their offensive execution if the lakers wants to reach the finals also their bench needs to step up consistently when the team needed them to score. Defensively they are fine and is one the toughest defensive team in the nba today. They need to focus more on an offensive consistency and the ability to get out of the shooting drought. Overall they are going to be unstoppable in the playoffs

Right, that's why majority of us are surprised to see them 3x losing in a row. I think Lebron have spoken about load management and he doesn't agree with it. So why is he doing load management, doesn't make any sense at all. So I don't think this is the reason, perhaps he is nursing something and just wanted to rest it.

Ahh, now I know what's thoracic muscle is. It's the first time I also hear about this kind of injury. In any case, atleast it's not a severe injury he had and in just 5 days rest he can return to the court. Load management or not, LeBron is always needed on the court yet he also needs to have a rest for a while.

Train another playmaker. It had always been Lebron from day 1. This could be also the one reason why they took Lonzo Ball out too.
They want it to be all Lebron ball. He will make the play or he will penetrate it himself to force a score.

It is difficult to stay on the line when you take this out.
Unlike Dallas which have JJ Barea still kicking and then there is Brunson and Tim Hardaway Jr.
This is the reason why they still win even without Doncic around although it is better if he is present.

LeBron James (thoracic muscle) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's Christmas Day matchup with the Clippers.
He sat out Sunday's game, so he'll have had a full five days off coming into the Christmas game and we'd be surprised to see him skip that one. We should get another few updates leading up to Wednesday's game, but if he is able to get back out there, Rajon Rondo would likely return to the second unit.

You're right, rondo is not a scorer, their last game against the Nuggets, he only scored 5 points although.

His skills really is to be a point guard and a good defender and rebounder at his size, so other players should step up also while Lebron is still resting.

Rondo will be a great contributor if he will be a starter, but as Lebron is talking his role in the game, he needs to accept his new role.

That's how it is on almost every lebron team (except for miami when he ran it with wade).  He is so good that other players shy away from trying to be the play maker.  Other alpha type playmaker people are not on this team.  I think kuzma is that type of player.  I'm not counting AD, he plays a different part on the team.

Lakers still have AD and Kuzma who can bring figures to lift the team. Coaching staff need to re-balance the game play, they need Rondo to dictate and find the open man. We all knew he's capabilities and even Lebron is out this team is different from the last season they still have numbers, good players who cn step up when its needed them the most.

Lakers is not as bad as last year when they were not with Lebron. First of all they have Anthony Davis and that alone itself means they are better than last year without any addition, however they also have Danny Green who is a great defender and avery bradley instead of young kids, these two know how to play. They also have Dwight Howard which brings in a lot from the bench as well.

So, they are not dealing with "improving the young talent" anymore maybe except Kuzma but that dude has always been a decent scorer and even while sharing the floor with superstars he got his shots up as the sixth most minutes but 3rd most FGA in the team. So they are doing much much better without Lebron this year versus last year. But it takes to adjust to something like that however Lebron will be back before they get a chance anyway and they will continue to be very good.

Why should the Lakers panic though? Rondo still can do what he used to do even without LeBron. And in fact, LeBron is out only for a week and only misses few games (not many). Of course the absence of their main facilitator hurts their team a lot but they can recover from this since they still have the pieces to.

You can really actually see the lacking and flaws of the team if one of its best players isnt on the court knowing that Lebron is a good playmaker and also
somewhat a good boostup on confidence for its team when he's there.For now they would need to handle yet 1 week isnt really that long and let those lose
games to add up to their stats.What matter most here is that they do able to give some rest to its best player rather than forcing it out.

Based on the article, Lebron James will play, the injury is not that so serious and he already feel the call from his teammates that he needs to play and bring success to the team again. That last loss was a big call for Lebron, this team won't be a championship contender without him, and not even a playoff contender.

Clarkson is a good addition to Jazz offensive attacks if given the right minutes and game play he surely delivered. The effect of this trade will be seen after this regular season and if fate allow Jazz to make it into the second round. Then it will be good for Clarkson's career.
