Seeing at the poll results about who is going to be the 2020 champion,
I can see that a lot of people has chosen Lakers. Why not choosing the Bucks? They are playing amazingly with Giannis being on top of his form and they hold an amazing record of wins-losses right now. What would make people think that Lakers are going to be the champions?

One reason that i see is that two of the Lakers (James and Davis) are on the top 5 in the contention for this season's MVP. The poll is just a mere speculation of the basketball fanatics here and it may not coincide with what really is happening in the NBA.

They see Lebron and Davis tandem, they see instant championship team. At least that is what it looks like at the start of the season. As the season progress, we can see that Lakers have a hard time winning against other top teams like Clippers, Nuggets and Bucks. Maybe as we near the playoffs the result of the poll will change.

So what happened with the Dallas Mavericks, they never give the Lakers a good fight like what they did in the previous game.

Does the Lakers were already able to scout Luka and the team?

I don't think so.
They just want to win. That is what I think happened back there.
I watched the full game and saw all the dunks of Dwight Howard. He really made something good that night.
So is KCP. That guy is hot back there. He really made a lot of 3 point shots.
And of course Davis. Still going strong for his age.

Dallas though had a lot of errors specially in defense.
I saw one play when Green is look for a pass in the mid range section of the floor. No one is even defending him.
So, he just shoot it when he realized no one is stopping him.

And Lonzo Ball doing something great on today's game.

He also looks like he is improving his shooting form, good for him. He should keep this up because everyone is already claiming he is a bust. His stats are going down and that is not a good sign. Let us see if he becomes better once Zion starts playing and if he becomes a good duo with him.

There's little to love in awful, three-point-heavy NBA game of today

Basketball's version of the home run has transformed the game into an unwatchable mess.

http://www.startribune.com/there-s-little-to-love-in-awful-three-point-heavy-nba-game-of-today/566540422/
That's right, this era of basketball has changed a lot. From a jaw dropping highlights reel of basketball to a mere three point shooting show. As a fan of basketball, I would still love to watch those highlight plays like dunks and acrobatic shots than today's three point shooting plays. Though these kind of plays minimize injuries for players, it shouldn't be used all the time.

I have always said that Lakers rushed their decision to get Anthony Davis, don't get me wrong he is a superstar and with him on the floor you see how amazing Lakers are playing, dude is both great on offense but he is unreal on defense but they gave away 3 players two of which could have become very good players and a very very good pick on top of that as well (three actually but one was 4th pick this year). Look at what Lakers drafted in the past 5-6 years ; D'lo Russel + Lonzo + Hart + Ingram + Randle + Kuzma these are really good players to build top of and you can seriously challange for a playoff spot in few years with these players and if you have a good coach you can seriously go for a championship in 5-6 years (Steve Kerr could make this team a challanger).

Or maybe I am just overreacting on one game compared to years of missing the playoffs by lakers, who am I to judge them when those kids failed to make playoffs while Lebron+AD is leading the west standings.

No, probably just a bad night for the Mavericks. And Lakers wanted to get their revenge so they're motivated to get back against Dallas.

Hard to stop a player like Luka, he has a lot of moves so even if you check his outside shooting, he still has other options to help the them. It's just the Lakers are too good, and other Maverick players specially the second unit didn't contribute as expected.

Yeah, Jordan Brand shows its support for young players. previously the Jordan brand had also contracted Zion Williamson to join them. Even though Zion hasn't played in the regular season but because of the possible exposure obtained by Zion can be beneficial for Jordan brand

Speaking of Zion, well, a lot of people are expecting and I've read that he can still play this season, they are teaching him how to run and play so he can avoid injuries. Zion is slowly losing that popularity unlike the time he started as the first pick in the pre season. I just hope he can come back quickly, with Ingram, I think they can still do it at playoffs.
I'm not sure Pelicans can qualify for the playoffs, seeing their current statistics are not very good. Even though at the beginning of the season I really hope that Pelicans will surprised me with their young players, but the reality is that it doesn't meet my expectations.

I saw the high lights of the game and it seems that James took over the game. He didn't score that much, but his assists really help the team take a huge lead and Mavericks wasn't able to make a rally. And they really adjusted based on their lost against the Mavericks earlier, good win and it makes the playing field get even better with their win against a solid Dallas team.

It's tough job for pelicans to attained the playoffs even Zion will play they are already behind and needed a lots of winning streak to catch up to the last post from this regular season. Aside from that the still young and needs to blend more, if Lonzo and Ingram will have a good chemistry with Zion they have a good team to formed if not for this season they have a long way to go alongside with each others.

Honestly speaking where im a little bit shocked on how Dallas perform or Lakers do really made out adjustments?
The game ended up with 13 point lead which i do say that they did really make out some revenge to Dallas but still
im impressed on how Dallas do play specially with Luka.

Maybe because there's no sort of "main man" now (like when WB and PG were there) ball rotation became much better and more opportunities for others to take shots. This is really what I want on a certain team, composed of good role players and not by a couple or more superstars.

And for Adams, as there is no Westbrook now that he sometimes feeds for stats, he is focused now on his usual game style. Veteran Chris Paul is also doing good and he really blends up with some of their young guns. Although fighting in West is so tough, OKC seems to be standing strong playing at rank 7 to 8. If they will maintain their stand at that position before All-Star, we might see them at playoffs.

I agree with you. They are overachieving talents and them dump them. They wasted a lot of talents dude. That includes KD, the reason why KD left OKC because the team focused more on westbrook. Second, Oladipo, I don't know why they let go Oladipo I mean that was a great steal from Orlando again. They're just like Orlando, wasting a lot of talents. On Orlando, Dwight, Oladipo and who's next? Aaron or Vucevic?

Anyway, NBA on facebook showed stats from the start to week 10. LeBron topped in assists, James Harden in points, Drummond in boards, Simmons in steals and Hassan Whiteside with the blocks.

Eyeing for the year end matches later. There's the most interesting match which is:
Bulls vs Bucks

No, probably just a bad night for the Mavericks. And Lakers wanted to get their revenge so they're motivated to get back against Dallas.

Hard to stop a player like Luka, he has a lot of moves so even if you check his outside shooting, he still has other options to help the them. It's just the Lakers are too good, and other Maverick players specially the second unit didn't contribute as expected.
Yeah, probably just a bad game for them. I'm okay with these two teams and they are my favorites so whomever wins, it's okay for me and these are the teams that are part now of my interest. I've seen how Lakers and Mavericks as well, props to them and it's commendable that they've played well at least on my opinion. There's just always a time that a team gets beaten.  Undecided

So what happened with the Dallas Mavericks, they never give the Lakers a good fight like what they did in the previous game.

Does the Lakers were already able to scout Luka and the team?

It's not an off night for the Dallas Mavericks. It's just that the Lakers became more aggressive coming from their lossing streak. I don't think the Mavs can defeat a team like the Lakers if they are getting serious.

In the nba any team can win on any given night.  To say the mavs cant beat the lakers is rediculous.  They might not be up to their caliber but all it takes is a bad night by one main player or an outstanding night by one of the mavs and it's a different game.  Maybe in a 7 game series lakers win but on a single night....anyone's game

For me, the worst trade OKC did is when they choose to trade James Harden. They destroyed their finals contender lineup.

Durant's departure at OKC isn't because the OKC management was focused on Westbrook. There are lots of reasons including personal issues.

And for Oladipo, I see nothing wrong on that trade as they received Paul George in return.

You have a point there, they were in the finals because of Harden, Westbrook, and Durant and all of them have won an MVP award.
They could have dominated in the west if that line up wasn't destroyed, but anyway that's their decision so maybe they also see something better.

Right now, the way that the OKC is showing is very impressive, they might not be a championship caliber team but they could surprise any team in the playoffs. I am counting on Paul to make this team great, move great players added and this team will become better and better.

They've send a healthy Oladipo to get a recovering PG then allow Westbrook to also leave them. Now they need to rebuild not sure how they can do it maintaining their chances to win over with their opponents but they really need to keep the franchise competes with other superior teams from the West side.

They relied on Westbrook too much but he was inconsistent in the last season, his average drop down compared to his average when he won an MVP award and him and PG alone can't carry the team, so both players are out and good thing CP3 was the one they trade for Westbrook.
