This all-star voting feels soooo weird, the top of the list is Lebron James, there is Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard on the frount court of west, Derrick Rose on the east guards, like almost a 2009 reunion for these guys, never would have imagined most of these names to be still here when it comes to 2020. First of all definitely didn't think Melo was coming back, not to all-star but to the league as a whole, dude was gone and forced to retire and didn't expected to see him play another minute of NBA but now he is voted to all-star (not guaranteed to go in).
Dwight Howard on the other hand was playing and got himself a Lakers contract and that is fine and all but looking at his past 5-6 years I would have said he would have been left out of roster after 10-15 games, he seriously changed his mindset and now a very valuable rotation player.
Derrick Rose had a great 2.5 stretch now and looks like he is good, not what he used to be of course but very good. The only name we all know is great and expected is Lebron but in 2003 if you asked Lebron after 17 years of NBA (not quite 17 but you get it) would he still be voted at the top of all-star he would be shocked as well, that is a llooooong long period of dominating the league.

New Orleans Pelicans +11 with +475 on the money. Their last battle was just a 4 point lead win for the Lakers. Lakers have been inconsistent lately but I have no doubt they will cover the spread this time with the young Pelicans. Giannis had his time, this year belongs to Luka. I would have wanted him, Porzingis, and Dirk into the playoffs but the man was more than happy to retire and pass the torch to young Luka.
Lol Giannis had his time. You do know he is young and only scratching the surface of what he can do. Lula is good yes, but to say ginnie had his time like he is going to start declining now is just silly. Let's just say both of them are going to be great players and leave it at that. He is just saying this is Luka's year. They are both performing great this year and no one can really tell that it is purely Luka's year. I want to see them toe-to-toe. I want to see them be captain this year and have a go at it during the all star.

I think Ja takes it this year if he keeps it up. I was hoping the knicks got the 2nd pick in the draft (or first of course) because I wanted them to pick Ja. That (almost) dunk over kevin love was insane. That boy has some skills and bet he is a top 10 player in the league within a year or 2.

He is not forced to retire dude. It's just there is no other team wants to sign him a contract. Melo was just waiting for offers from NBA teams that's why we did not see him play at the start of the NBA season. Anyways, melo still has his game going so give him credit for that and just be happy he was voted to be in part in the NBA all-star this season.

Here are the recent rankings of the current MVP race ladder: 1. Giannis Antetokounmpo 2. Luka Doncic 3. James Harden 4. Anthony Davis 5. Lebron James All our consistent, all our tough but I do hope injuries will not spoil the fun. Like to see the top 2 making names in the NBA's new generation.
Harden is not liked by many many viewers because of how he draws fouls out of nothing at all...
Blame the refs for that. As I said before, as long as Harden sees that as effective he will continue to do that.
Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.
There's also the half bald, half amazing from Lakers (Alex Caruso) Oh yeah, why I forgot him. C.A.R.U.S.Ooooo. He will definitely put up a show.

Sure do hope too. But this guys doesn't have the history of a long term injury so I guess we could see more entertainment from them while running for the MVP race. Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.

The team is getting lively specially those who are in the bench. This guy just excites the whole crowd. He will suddenly dunk the ball without any defender noticing him.

Whoa! What happened to Ja Morant? Here is to add more about this glimpse of potential ROTY for Michael Porter Jr. https://www.nba.com/rookie-ladderI am happy for Denver. They have been looking for that secret weapon and it seems to be getting fruitful now. Gary Harris, Murray and now the rookie Porter Jr. can make a scary trio when Malone decides to put them all in the floor at the same time. It will be a scary Nuggets. I might bite it if crunchy.

The Nuggets has a pretty good system that's why they give every opponents they have in the playoffs a headache. Though they have the ROY candidate, they still can't make it to the finals this season but I think 4-5 seasons more they can be on top of the standings.

Its always a risky thing to implement a rookie to your already working system. Denver has been going better and better in the past 5 years and they crowned it last year with going to second round and almost going to conference finals as well thanks to great seeding, they beat Spurs very difficulty on a 7 game series and the Blazers series went to 7 game too if I am not wrong which means they could have beat them as well if things went a bit right. Now to change all of that and putting a rookie in just because he is good is always a difficult decision however Mike Malone is a marvelous development coach who built this young team so I am sure he knows what he is doing this time around with putting Porter in as well.

Actually for me he will not lose anything here. They might have been trying it in practice before they implemented it. But what are the points to make it successful. First and maybe the last, the team already had the best chemistry they could get. Murray, Jokic, Harris, Millsap and Plumley are in their great year with stronger bond. Now, adding someone will not be a difficult task anymore. They can do it.

That's too way far mate, hopefully it wouldn't take any longer in order for them to experience being champion once in their lifetime career. However, this season the survey was visibly going under Lakers team. Though it was not yet happening, predictions is nearly 30% impact compared to what reality is.

Nuggets is a silent contender from the west side, they are very quite but effective when playing like what you have said the coach have the big influence in developing the team, each players have it's own roles, chemistry are being developed and that's how things works. We don't know what the coach are seeing but for sure he's doing his best to make a good impact to the team.

When we talk about rookie of the season, do you really think that Zion could make a comeback and get it? I don't know how many games you have to play to be considered and he already missed a lot of games but he is training now and getting some 5v5 practice which means it is matter of time for him to make a comeback, if he makes that comeback this month and plays very well rest of the season without missing a game, would he be even eligible? If so, would he play good enough to become rookie of the year?
We all know he was always a good player and was easily the number one prospect but I doubt a rookie could make THAT much noise in half a season, if he does that means all the attention he got was warranted and he is actually as good as people think he is but I still doubt he is at that level yet, surely has some athletic and genetically awesomeness to him and some talent but not "play half a season and still beat out all other rookies" level of greatness.

Yep, I guess Zion will come back stronger than ever. I mean, it's not a torn ACL or injuries that could take a seasonal break. This is why I guess that he will come back and pursue his NBA dream. But, I'm also worried about his physique. He's always getting injuries even when he is in college. And if you think that he missed a lot of practice. Think of what Kobe, Gay, Rose did. When they had the worst injury a player could get. They made a comeback after that. Once you got in the mode it will never stop haunting you. Their love for the game probably will bring them back.

The Lakers have been frustrating in games where they are killing teams in the first half but in the second half they can't go on with it. Its good for live betting if that's something you like to do like myself as I have been doing well taking the other team to cover the big spreads. The Lakers really need to work on this so they can give AD and LeBron a rest in the 4th quarters and their bench needs to do more to help out.

They don't need to if they already think they can win the game, they might not be considering the point spread, if they win they will but they don't care about us. Their latest game against the Pelicans, I was thinking this will cover easily but they seemed to stop playing in the 2nd half so that resulted to a push. Its good for live betting if that's something you like to do like myself as I have been doing well taking the other team to cover the big spreads. We saw how devastating their loss without Lebron, so literally this Lakers now relies heavily on Lebron and AD but mostly Lebron as he is the facilitator.

Here are the recent rankings of the current MVP race ladder: ~
If Luka didn't get an ankle injury last month, there is still a chance that he is on the top spot right now. His numbers right now are slightly lower compare to his first few games at the start of the season but still it is still an MVP numbers. I know how Giannis is playing right now in Bucks but I'd like to see a Rookie of the Year last season and now he is the MVP of the league . NBA Rookie Power Rankings: Michael Porter Jr. climbs the rankings to claim the No. 1 spot
Porter Jr. has been given more opportunity in Denver and is making the most of it ~
~ This is a draft steal from the 2018 draft. Many are talking about him already but many teams are also doubting because of his injury. Only the Nuggets have the guts to sign this player and now he is returning the favor by showing his skills in his past games. If this player will be given more minutes or he will be a starting throughout the season, I'd bet him as the ROTY over Morant. Porter is the secret weapon of Nuggets and I hope he will not be injured again.

That's really frustrating for the bettors who entrust their handicap for this teams especially with Clippers that huge leads by Memphis kills the parlay of 1.16 odd ML for clippers. Adding to this, Hawks also won against the Pacers not sure the handicapped but it's also a good win to anyone who bet for this team.
