You guys do realize that Clarkson only scores 15 points per game right? I mean don't get me wrong thats a good stat for any non-star player however dude was avaraging 14.6 on cavs this season and thats a losing team, now on a winning team at Jazz isn't it normal that he scores even less than 1ppg more than he was at cavs? Dude didn't just suddenly became a great player, he was always a semi-decent role player and he is still just a semi-decent role player. I don't think much will change when Conley gets back, I mean they can't sustain this run with or without him, eventually they will lose however it won't be just because Conley is back, dude brings in great playmaking plus historical defense to wherever he plays and thats what will happen when he comes back.

Rockets will not continue like this, they are a good team and usually play better but this was just a bad game for everyone who wasn't Harden or WB, I am sure the role players will play better in the playoffs. However, Lakers are on a different story right now, they are actually having fun and entertaining crowds, that hasn't happened since 2000 or so when Shaq entertained the crowd as well, even on 2008-2010 run Lakers were good but they weren't "entertaining" or happy to play, it was Kobe obviously who was fierce and that is good basketball to watch but I haven't seen a Lakers team so happy to play together since Magic times probably.
I honestly think that they became the best contenders in the league as soon as they became a team that has fun together as well as being so talented.

It's the coaches strategy to place everything in the right position, I agree that Clarkson is a decent scoring type of a player and giving him minutes he will deliver and provide for the team. Adjustment will be taking place here as he's the new guy and knowing Conley there's always good space for him for this team, hopefully all of them will find the same chemistry and same goal to place the franchise to a much higher achievements.

Really? ONLY SCORES 15 points? Dude for a team that has a sht bench team makes Jordan Clarkson a great addition to that team. The dude was averaging 14.6 points on 23 minute game. And per stat-wise, https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/utah, Clarkson was only playing 15.4 minutes per game. That's big addition with low minutes given. That makes other role-players perform their own roles. Jazz is pretty solid this season. They're 29-13 and sitting at the 4th seat in the west.

Seems to me that this is good deal for both Blazers and Kings. Blazers got a bit stronger, and Kings cut their luxury bill in half, by $12.3 million. Additionally, rumor is that they are trying to offload Dewayne Dedmon, who has 3-year, $40 million deal. They are preparing for this summer i guess. Really? ONLY SCORES 15 points? Yep, weakest part of Jazz so far this season was horrible bench, all of them definitely underperformed. So adding someone like Clarkson is a big improvement in that regard. Of course their bench won't be suddenly best in the league, but if he can keep with this performance, it will be huge help for Jazz. For those who want to see how each team's bench performs, here is the link (Jazz having 5th worst bench so far this season) https://stats.nba.com/teams/traditional/?sort=PTS&dir=-1&Season=2019-20&StarterBench=Bench&SeasonType=Regular%20Season

It is also entertaining to see how Javale really improved as a player being in the Lakers uniform. I mean blocking shots, pumping his chest, lol. Plus those alley-opps is a crowd pleaser. Even Dwight is very enthusiastic even if he is not on the floor. And James as a play maker, comparable to Magic is very fun to watch as well.

You know, Jordan Clarkson caught the attention of the others is because he really changed the bench performance of Utah Jazz. He maintains what he is and that's what Utah Jazz needs. Forget the stats, forget his average during his Cleveland Cavaliers, what matters here is, he gives a boost on the underperforming Utah Jazz bench. It is also entertaining to see how Javale really improved as a player being in the Lakers uniform.

These big men really show a big improvement this season. Not just them but the majority of the Lakers roster. I think their early exit last season plays a big role that gives them more time to prepare for anything.

When he was playing with the Lakers he was noticed along with Randle, but when he played with the Cavaliers, things have changed and now it's great to see we are seeing his true potential again. Clarkson with what he is showing now, it will boost his confidence to produce more and he will eventually get a good contract in the future. I don't know the current stats but he could be the best 6th man this season if he remains consistent.

Yes, he might as well bag the sixth man of the year if he continues his performance until playoffs.

Yeah that is right. But here is the idea. Most of the decent role players when traded to a better team loses their good stat. The Cavs needs an offense, he stepped up. Jazz doesn't need much of it but yet he could still maintain it. That is a better team and I am sure he will be playing in the playoffs for what he is showing. Really? ONLY SCORES 15 points? Somehow he is trying to give him a good analysis. The "only" word is what made it bad. Quoted the good line above in bold. I hope I am right though.

here : https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/clarkjo01.htmlof his seasons with the Lakers, he had almost the same average with the Jazz, that's his normal stats but he was just appreciated in the Jazz because his contribution is very vital for the team to keep winning, I like him to actually stay in the Jazz as this team has no superstar like Kobe or Lebron.

Yeah me too, it's most likely he for very well for the jazz system. Only if they can make it to the playoffs, then I think the management will decide his fate in the team. Clarkson is really a humble person, accepting every role given to him even in his previous teams.

NBA Power Rankings: Rudy Gobert leads Utah Jazz up the chartsThe Utah Jazz may have had their 10-game winning streak ended on Thursday, but they still moved up three spots in the NBA Power Rankings entering Week 14.
If Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz keeps playing this way, it’s going to be awfully hard to keep him out of next month’s NBA All-Star Game, but for the time being The French Rejection seems content to continue to lead the Jazz into the upper echelon of the NBA. GREAT JOB UTAH JAZZ!

Maybe because when he was with the Lakers, management and fans are expecting too much of him. That's why as hard as he try to perform he was under appreciated and was offered in the trading block. Now with the Jazz, fans love him, team mates like the way he contributes and he is playing very good. Love to see him with the sixth man award this year, just to validation in my opinion.

GREAT JOB UTAH JAZZ! He really showing his worth and it's good reaction from his teammates to keep him on track. Good job as the chance still there for him and with collective efforts the team will continue to be more competitive moving to the next round. That's right, Gobert really contributed big-time on the jazz and with the help of his teammates it will not be a surprise if they can withstand the competition in the playoffs. Also the acquisition of Clarkson is an addition for the jazz in this season, which performs his best season so far in the league.

He could still make his way to the top if he does make a lot of effort for it. Salary will come also to those who could perform well. Lou Williams (33) on the other hand could be one of the best shooting guards out there. He moves like Iverson and does shoot like him too. You could also see the style of crossovers almost alike. I think he is the one who chose to stay with the Clippers as a 6th man. This guy might just want 1 championship and he will be satisfied. Regarding salaries, he might have also made that decision even with a lot of offers.

I mean blocking shots, pumping his chest, lol. Plus those alley-opps is a crowd pleaser. Even Dwight is very enthusiastic even if he is not on the floor. And James as a play maker, comparable to Magic is very fun to watch as well.
He even have that skyhook shot that is being mimicked from Kareem. The bench will all jump in joy when Javale makes it in.

He also has the experience in the playoffs with the Lakers and the Rockets, so and he can be trusted in crucial moments which would be a positive impact for the Blazers, this guy does not only depend, he also is a good 3 point shooter which is needed for the Blazers as that is their style of play, they are a jump shooting team, so I believe he will be a good fit.

Mostly his points are in the paint, alley-opps and then dunking on someone. Such joy to see a resurgent career of Javale in Lakers uniform. I also agree with Ariza, at least Blazers has now a wing man defender, CJ and Lillard and just pure offence player, they need someone to defend outside.
