The last timr I read anything about Kobe was when Lebron passing him in the NBA all-time list of most points and now I read the news about him and his daughter passing away in a helicopter crash in New York. They were with another player and a parent.

Damn, tragic things can happen at any moment. RIP to the Balck Mamba and Mambacita. The Legend Lives!

edit:
It was great to watch the teams opening the games with 8-second backcourt violation and then the 24-second shooting violation
Oh Damn!!!!!

A sad day for us Basketball fans. Even you are a Kobe fan or not as long as you are playing basketball and you watched how this legend played inside the court, you will feel terribly sad with what happened this day Sad. I'm not that good in basketball but I'm an avid basketball fan so when I wake up in the morning and browsed at Facebook, I was shocked when I saw this on my timeline. I thought for a second that this was just a fake but as I scroll down, I saw this different articles regarding to the tragedy that happened.

As they say "Enjoy every second of your life because you don't know when you will be gone". A legend will be live forever in our hearts Sad.

I'm curious on how will the LA Lakers will be in their next home game. I just saw that their next game will be against the Clippers. 2 LA teams will face.

Wish it was a fake news Sad really sad to hear that one of the greatest player we have seen is gone for good. I'm sure that many of us here is a Kobe fan, he has impacted lots of young players to aspire and become great in their own mind because of his Black Mamba mentality.

RIP champ, our prayers goes to his family specially to Vanessa who lost a husband and a daughter in this tragic accident hear around the world.

It's the number 1 trending news all over the world. If you have seen the match this day.
It's the number 1 trending in in gambling discussion board as well, we just can't help but discuss on what happen, in fact nobody is talking anymore about the games tomorrow, that's how popular Kobe is, I think if one is a fan of basketball, they should know who Kobe is.

yups and even oscars opening gives tribute to Kobe's Lost and the whole world, but what touches me the Game in NBA when they all Give turnovers to give respect for the Black Mamba of NBA.

Expect to see more tributes coming within this week. The wound is fresh from the loss of one of the best basketball players in the world. Basketball fans are hurt today and tributes are one of the ways to express it.

The Kobe Bryant Effect:
Giannis Antetokoumnpo deleted all of his social media acc.
Kyrie and Tatum didn't played their respective games
Trae Young and Devin Booker ended up with 24 FG attempts with 8 rebounds.
At the start of the spurs-raptors game, they make sure for both teams to get 24 sec violation as tribute
LeBron cried when he heard the news
Lots of tributes around the earth was given to the legend.

Rest In Peace Kobe, we will always love you. Your legacy that was left behind will always be remembered.

Imagine the Lakers of 2020 will be the champion and LeBron shouting "This is for Kobe!" And all will be emotional.

He just had waaay too much left in him that he could give both to his personal life and family but also to all of us as well, this dude didn't went into hiding after he retired, he kept on working on multiple stuff and kept being in public eye, he was still guests in late night shows and still gave us plenty of dreams, it was way too early for him to leave like this, not the helicopter he loved so much that he took tens of times every single year, just one pilot mistake shouldn't worth this much punishment.

I remember when I was just 11 years old me and my friend both played 1v1 every day for hours and we tried to mimic our favorite players, he was Iverson and I was Kobe and they played against each other in the finals but we played in the streets, now I am 30 years old and I still have only one jersey in my life, never bought another jersey, never had anyone else in any other sport ever, the only time I ever bought a jersey was to celebrate his move to number 24, been wearing that since this morning, can't believe he is gone, it feels like a surreal dream that I will eventually wake up from but it just keeps on going.

I hope his family will be better, this is probably the saddest news they will ever have in their whole life, there will never be another news as horrible ever again, they need both friends and family with them but probably some professional as well to get through such a huge tragedy.

Kobe why why why?

Your name is actively seen in NBA news. Your basketball activity is also active. Then in just a glimpse.... you are now gone?

Condolence to Bryant family and to those who also died on the helicopter crash.

You will be missed. Sad

I'm not a big fan of basketball. But the charm of Kobe Bryant can really touch life. He really is a true legend. Death by accident is truly tragic. But this is life that must go on. I am sure this incident will make the Lakers players motivated and play all-out to win the NBA championship this season. as a tribute to their late legend.

I'm still trying to convince myself that "this is not real". I'm hoping it's just another fake news spreading as usual in social media. I've seen first some of Kobe's links about the tragedy on my social media group chats that's why I think it's just another day of fake news. But when I browse my news feed, oh my, this is f**cking real. I was shocked as just recently his name was on the sports news as LeBron passes him on the all-time scoring list.

We are not related to Kobe but as a long-time NBA enthusiast and witness his greatness during his prime, we really feel the pain. Just imagine how much more to the one who was inspired by him and keeping in touch with him.

No words can describe what's the feeling. Much painful to Bryant's family that not even the head of their family, but a young girl, full of dreams, was also killed.

Big condolences too for the other family that dies on the crash. I can't imagine the pain they are dealing with.

Millions never met the BlackMamba but he truly put some of the countries in grief.

His loss was surprised and send a big shock to the whole sports nation.

Rest in Peace Kobe Bryant and to other people as well who bid farewell on that crash. The name Kobe Bryant will not be forgotten.

Even after a day after his tragic death, people still mourn about what happened. Come on guys let's move on..

Am I reading this right? You use the word "still" mourn even it's just almost a day when the accident happened? What do you want? People should not mourn since its almost 24 hours since the incident? You want people to move on already? Are you sick on reading some of the comments here about what happened? There are lots of threads outside to play around.

Just allow people to mourn. Of course, people will move on. We will be there soon. But don't expect that to happen overnight.

I hope you just mistakenly constructed your statement.

I just want to pay my respects and give condolences to Kobe Bryant the GOAT and his daughter Gianna. The best player in the NBA in recent history, arguably of all time. His work ethic, mind, respect, mentality was an example for millions if not billions of people and definitely was a person that helped people increase positivity and achieve their personal goals. I also want to give condolences to everyone else that lost their life because of that horrific accident and pray for their families. Words cannot describe this.

We have some big game today, Dallas vs OKC, the battle between the number 5 and number 7, or let's say the battle of the playoff teams.
OKC is 7-3 in the last 10 while Dallas is 6-4, who will win tonight, is it going to be the road team or the more consistent team OKC.
CP3  and Doncic are both out I guess, they are the stars of the team so can we still expect an exciting game?

Dallas can still find their offence even without Doncic, while the OKC will be playing a faster pace without Paul, that's what I'm thinking so since we can't trust on which team would win, I think talking the over 225.5 for game total would be a wiser choice.

See how Doc Rivers sobs during interview? It's really hard to move on, there are NBA games today but I'm sure the whole atmosphere is still sad because of the passing of Kobe.

After reading this. I cried again.
I have the same thought when I read it. I see it all as fake news. I don't want to believe it.
I thought I was okay this morning having a good night sleep from all the crying yesterday.

Anyways, Kobe will want us to move on but never forget about him and all his lectures for the world.
His inspirational phrases for working hard with everything we do specially the ones that we love to do.

Quote
"When we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, then we are short-changing ourselves. My brain, it cannot process failure. It will not process failure. Because if I have to sit there and face myself and tell myself, 'You're a failure,' I think that is a worse, that is almost worse than death."
Of course his acts too, inspiring those young basketball enthusiast to pursue their dreams and never let it go just because of one failure.
I would love to see new players with the same kind of love for basketball just like him.

Dallas manage to win but the scores didn't favor your pick as it's ended up with low scoring game. Luka once again carry his team with leading the
scoring stats. While Schröder unable to lift OKC as CP3 is out for this match.

I can't believe the Jazz loss against the Rockets.
Are they rigging this game, Rockets without Harden, Westbrook, and Capela and yet they manage to win on the road, unbelievable.
