 That is kind of how capitalism works, plus they literally have corona people around them so why shouldn't they get tested as well? If teams played with each other and this virus takes 2 weeks to develop, that means almost all teams played each other in the last 2 weeks before gobert came out positive, one team plays utah, that team plays another, another plays someone else and it goes around the whole league in the two weeks. So basically anyone could be positive right now, thats why they were scared and tested.

 I understand there wasn't too many test kits and I understand others wanted to use it, however teams have a lot of money and they had positive players so they used that money to make sure nobody else had it as well, it makes sense, if you had money you would test as well. If anyone wants to critize anyone, take a look at the big pharma who can make xanax a million times a day but when it comes to test kits they felt like it was too much of a burden or something, these companies all around the world working %100 to make it would basically make 8 billion test kits in a month if they wanted to, this virus has been around for 3-4 months at least (and even more I suppose) we would have over a billion test kits if they wanted it.

If they have all the means to get tested and it's from their fund and money, why they don't deserve it? I know that there's a need for other ill patients but it's just for testing.

How about to those who interact with players that have this virus, aren't they exposed and possible to also to carry this disease. I agree with you

Yeah, that is what I am saying.
What if they got into a lot of sick people during their visits for them.
Somehow this could be traced when found out they have the virus and then ask them for the history into where they went.

I think so, they have no intention of telling us the names of those who are infected, otherwise, they would have already announce it, I don't know what's the reason while other teams are publicly informing us about their players who are positive with Covid-19.

All we know right now is Javale Mcgee who tested negative and that must be a big relief for him. I doubt it is Lebron but with this secrecy that who has corona and who doesn't I am not entirely sure if this is safe for them or good PR. I mean who would want to be known as the NBA player who has corona?

Nobody would want that, so they are probably in hiding at their home and in isolation already, there is nothing else they can do about this and they must be feeling upset about the chances of infecting others anyway, when you name them you change nothing but just hurt their name with associating it with corona. I know nobody should be thinking about PR right now in a situation like this but if the players are doing everything they can about this, there is no reason they can't hide their name as well.

That might be the franchise or players own decisions, we do hope that whoever that might be those people who are within their reach will be also
undergo with testing the possibilities of being infected of this spreading virus.
This is really hard in terms of sorting everyone who are in touch of this two players.

 Knowing who Trump is, I do not doubt that this had some kind of voting or popularity thing. His base is basically the racist, redneck type of people and they are basically getting out to vote when you tell them Mexicans are rapists, when you tell them europeans are snob, when you tell them "chinese virus", when you tell them "welfare is blacks getting free money for not working because they are lazy" or stuff like that. They are.

There's no excuse, there should be a public tracing who are these people but I don't know if they are conducting this kind of test and tracing for the people who interacted with the confirmed cases.

NBA is a big organization, taking care of its players and sensitive to the Covid 19 issue.

Any kind of test is surely done from players, staff and each team's organization. That's why they detect all positive cases in the league.

But there is a question that's still a question to them until now, who started this? Where and when did Gobert get the virus? Is it really Gobert the source of infection in the whole league or he is also got infected by other players and it just happened that he's the one showed early symptoms?

I’ve not heard of many. I think it was the Yankees farm system whom had a guy test positive, I know the Saints head coach Sean Payton also has tested positive..not heard of much else though, personally.

Yes, there might be also in American Football since it is also a physical game with a lot of  contact.
But this ain't the right thread for us to talk about it. Sorry. 

It may not be actually be a problem for the players but more of their staff specially the old ones.
Coaches and assistants on the sideline which we all know are like 40+ years old.
Those bracket of age are the most affected seriously with this virus and mostly end up dead which is the sad part of all.
