That's are crucial games because they are strong team and they need at least Davis to have a chance to win. Since the playoff race in the West is very tighht, Lakers need to win every game to remain secured. They are already at the number 5 now with 33   20 (w-l) record, and anytime soon Dallas and Portland could take over them.

I believe on ESPN as they are a reputable source, that would be the season more exciting and Lakers really need that to solidify their standing and to avoid getting kick out in the playoff ranking. Hopefully no hindrance for his return, he need to warm up as the playoffs is coming soon.

Yeah, ESPN is one of the most respected sports channel in the industry and perhaps they have inside information as well.

Playoffs? it's what separate the men from the boys. And we all know that the Lakers are the defending champs, so teams can't underestimate them even if they fall to 5th-7th position. And when either Davis or James comes back it will be a different LA team.

That's what I'm talking about when Lebron and Davis were out for weeks in the court. If they can hold their position while those two are off the court, then the history when Lebron didn't participate in the playoff for the first time will be repeated. Because when he finally back and able to play, it's already too late they can't even get some win for every game, they losing too much that year and finally they are out of the list. Now they need to remain at that spot because other teams that have complete stars on their team are playing well especially those two teams that you mentioned.

That is really sad, maybe the officer had panic and pull the wrong weapon, but I was thinking, the gun and a taser are different, you were right something is wrong, because a gun is heavy than a taser, and will instantly feel that its a gun, unless there is a conspiracy, or he may be just want to warn the person, we don't know the actual situation but they have body cam, if the officer really did it wrong he needs to leave his job.

Coaching staff are considering this things, for sure they know what is best for this stars and for the entire team. Like what most of the post said, LeBron and Davis needs to be more healthier once they've start playing.

With them, the team is more powerful. It's hard to beat this team once they've jive playing with Drummond, that all trios have a big edge.

Doncic came out and said he doesn't seem the point of a play in tourny to get into the playoffs between the 7-10 placed teams.  Then went on to say their goal is to get to the 6th spot.  That seems kind of weak saying we are shooting for the 6th spot, why not higher meh. He was disappointed you can earn the 7th spot and basically get booted by losing 2 straight games.  Welp should've gotten higher than 7th spot then I say.

It should be more games. At least the last game ( loser from 7th/8th and winner from 9th/10th), should be on 2 wins.  It is a bit to much to be rank 7th and then lose chances for playoff after you lose 2 games.

I do not think that Lakers will be going down as much as 7th in the standings. Sure it may "look" bad for them, but remember this is the team that is fighting for a title, so it doesn't matter to them if they are at 8th spot or 1st spot because it doesn't matter if they are facing the next best team (or maybe best team) or worst team, they are fighting for a ring so they should be capable of beating everyone, doesn't matter how good that team could be.

Plus the top spot is Suns and Jazz right now, does anyone really believe that either of those teams have a chance against Lakers? Maybe Nuggets or Clippers could have a bigger chance but Lakers should be capable of beating them if they want the ring anyway so it is not a problem. Lebron and AD should only come back when they feel healthy again, if they force themselves today, that will be a problem later on in the playoffs.

I see that too, he can take some shots and try helping his teammates, it's going to be tough now as they continue losing.

I actually don't think its that bad.  In the older 5 game series it was 3 loses and out so 2 is not that much different.  Its not even 7th in the league but 7th in the conference.  Without looking can remember the last time a 7 or 8 was in the finals anyway so typically they get booted fairly quick anyway.

It should be more games. At least the last game ( loser from 7th/8th and winner from 9th/10th), should be on 2 wins.  It is a bit to much to be rank 7th and then lose chances for playoff after you lose 2 games.

They’ve already slid quite a ways down the standings. I think they might need LeBron back for the last 5 games or so just to ensure they make the playoffs at this point. Looking like another 13 games from now they may actually be in jeopardy of missing the post season without some sort of winning streak.
