^^That limited minutes will also help him as much as it helps the team as well. Think about it this way, if he came back and started with 30+ minutes there is a chance he could be injured again and that is bad for himself the most, and also it would be bad for the team as well.

However it would also be bad for the team to play him 30 minutes, even without injury risk, because he hasn't played in a while and playing him small minutes first while he is still not back to his shape and then increasing his minutes will definitely make things better for the team, let him get back to his level again and he will be ready to play 30+ minutes and deliver for sure.

Of course Lakers needed him, and he will be there, he is playing already which is good news, but they can't risk an injury at this point, that would mean he may not be 100% in playoffs, that is why they are being extra careful.

Would really a tough decision but they would really be needing to that for them to keep AD on having the risk of some injury again and they would really be in big trouble if that would happen.

Their current standing is going down but still far of to be dropped on playoffs.Its just understandable if they put out limited minutes of gametime for AD but it would be gradually go back to normal

Better put him back on the line up once his 100% healthy. Looking at his last games performance makes him looks like that he's not totally ok so ita good to make him rest and maybe let him comeback in playoffs. Although we know lakers really need him but rushing his recovery doesn't give any good effects to them in the long run.

Sometimes this is already in concern on psychological aspect because when a player had been gone through an injury then it cant really be avoided those kind of hesitance or change in gameplay

on where someone will really be changing up his past performance and a little bit more careful or simply they would really limit out their movements or true potential in game.

There's no exception with that one but i do much prefer on seeing players do came from injury on at least have ample time on court to overcome that fear but of course not every diagnosis
would really be perfect even if doctors do tell its already cured or totally fine but we cant really cross out the possibility for it to be in pain again.

GSW is underrated now, but they prove they can win against a good team which is the Denver nuggets, which also means that GSW is here to compete and would like to qualify in the playoffs.

The Lakers are 2.5 games above the Mavericks and 3 games below the Nuggets. If they don't really care about their standings right now, I think they can allow these 2 superstars to play at the start of the playoffs rather than letting them play during the regular season but seeing the current standings in the West, a losing streak might put Lakers from their current position right now to even lower position. If LBJ and AD aren't 100% healthy then let them play in the playoffs then if the remaining players can get some wins.

Lakers stars needs to get some warm up before the Playoff, even for some short minutes it's better than nothing.

Lakers are doing fine, they are 5th right now and they do not look like they are going to be 6th, which means even if they are 4th they are going to play the same team anyway, and they can't rush their players back and play for 3rd neither that would be silly to force their players back just for that. Which means they do not need to rush Lebron and AD back at all. AD already started with restricted minutes and that's fine, Lebron will get there too.

Davis (calf) is probable for Saturday's contest against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Davis was rusty in his first game back from a strained calf. He's still dealing with some discomfort but is expected to play Saturday. He played 17 minutes in his return, but he could see more action against the Mavericks.

As you can see, we could see more action from him. LA needs to win here so they will not waste this opportunity again.

They are now in their 9th straight wins, 4th spot and slowly getting this comfortable advantage, like what you observed Randall is bringing his name to the top, lining up with those caliber superstars.

He's still young and with good mentorship and continuous support from all the people behind this franchise the future of this team is clearly good.
