^^ Wizards though has taken a good lead in the fourth quarter.

I don't know how Lakers can play catch up as they look tired going in the fourth. So I guess Wizards have started a new winning streak here. Bradley Beal has 20 points now and could probably posted 25 points still in the remaining minutes. Knicks also prevail, so they are back!!!
If they can dominate all the remaining 10 games until playoffs come I guess they can get that 8th spot or even higher than that. Westbrook was on his 5th streak appearance in the playoffs but I think he's not still done yet and looking at his past games he really was still explosive as he was.

After 10 years of missing the playoffs the Suns are now back sealing it with a win against the Clippers.
The last time they were in it was with Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire.
Imagine how long was that while Steve Nash is now a coach for the Nets.  Grin
Yeah, and I still remember those days still, you forgot to add Shawn Marion, so they have their own big 3 back in the days.  Grin

This is a good start and now Devin Booker will have experience in the playoffs. With a veteran like CP3, they might even make it to the Finals if Booker will do his job as an offensive player. I wish he will not be shaky and just play the game with high intensity.
I think CP3 is the big difference here ,and I agree Devin Booker is already a superstar and I do hope that he will continue to improve. And we knows this team will maybe add another star player to make it a better version of what we are seeing today. Good win for them.

Seriously, guys, this is not suitable to watch for the Lakers fans. Damn! this is pure disrespect and humiliation.

Another team and another achievement for CP3, He's appearance in each teams he played is trully amazing!

Booker got a good veteran partner that he really can rely, with them playing together the chance to achieve more is very possible.
Looking forward for CP3 not to suffer for another injury once the playoff start.
Knicks in East and Suns from the West, both teams are having a good season bringing the franchise back on track.

CP3 is always been a good partner, he played well in any team he played, and it's a good thing he paired with a humble star which is booker and their chemistry is evidently working very well. As we can see now, they will be in the playoffs and will secure a good spot, they continue winning even against the best teams in the NBA. I'm just happy for the Suns, I never expected them to reach this far.

Yes, it's been a while. Booker is already the best cager in this team but Chris Paul is the one who brings this team to a much higher level. His leadership is so effective that he was able to extract what's more from his teammates. No doubt about his leadership skills and we have seen it on his previous teams. His previous teams, OKC and Rockets are now already out of the playoffs picture.

Wishing them good luck in the playoffs but I don't see them entering the Finals, who knows though as the ball is always round.

I think the leader of the Suns is CP3, though it's Booker who is the franchise player but it's nice to see him being humble and giving way the veteran to lead the team. CP3 is a good example of a great point guard, as any team he plays, he always makes the team better. I can't remember that CP3 has not gone into playoffs.

The Suns' team is not packed with superstars but yet their high chemistry shows in-game.
This had always been the case whenever CP3 joins a team.
From Clippers to Rockets, he never fails to put all his good performance and leadership within the floor. He just damn loves playing basketball.
Booker is learning and it's better with CP3.
I didn't think they could go this far but they just did. Last year in the play-in tournament, from a perfect win, but still couldn't make it to the playoffs to securing it now avoiding the same scenario. Man, they are looking good and Suns management better keep this roster intact even if they lose in the playoffs.

The ball is round and many times it happened, no one thinks that Raptors will be lucky facing the stars injured GSW,
while The heavy favorite Clippers loses their West finals birth against the Nuggets.

Moving back to that topic about CP3, he's competitiveness brings new challenged with his teammates,
Agree that Booker already performing but now he's improvement is far better.

The only question is if they can continue this winning attitude, playoffs is a different story players are more dedicated trying to advance to the next level.

Man, they are looking good and Suns management better keep this roster intact even if they lose in the playoffs.

They should, Suns being the number 2 team now and could end with a number 1 spot is already a big achievement even if they will not make it in the 2nd round.

West is full of good teams, it's hard to predict as even the Lakers who are currently the favorites is not guaranteed they'll get the back to back championship, the real battle is in the West IMO, so winning in the West is like having an easy series in the NBA Finals.. however, hopefully, it will be different this time as we have the Nets who are currently been hype to get a good chance to win the NBA Finals.

It's possible if Jazz will lose games and they will continue to win. The current record is 45-15 (jazz) 44-16 (suns)... it's too close that's why it's very possible. Both teams are already secured with a playoff spot, that's a big success for the Suns, hopefully, they won't slow down now that they already have a playoff spot.

Yeah, I think they will and probably will upgrade the team if they see fitted.

It's hard to beat the Suns, and I think the problem is that teams have overlooked them. But they play really hard, day in day out that's why they are in the second spot and probably be going for the number 1 in the West. So I'm expecting them to play good whoever they faces in the first round.

Hopefully, they will not face the defending champ (LA Lakers). With the way the Lakers are playing now, it's not impossible that they will end up in the number 8 position and that means they will face the Suns in the first round of the playoffs once the Suns will take the number 1 spot, I think it's not good for them.

I wasn't expecting that Mavericks would win that big against the GSW. Too bad I wasn't able to put a bit on the high odds like Mavs winning 11+ or more, that should have been a jackpot. Hopefully next time, I can spot a game like that,  Grin

You can already see how serious they are now,  GSW and Mavericks are not ensured yet with their standing, so they need to play hard to win here.

With that win earlier they secured their spot on the number 6 in the playoff in the western conference. If luck is in their way, Mavericks can give you the best play you can watch. especially when you see Luka Doncic doing his thing in a game.

Let us not forget that Dallas are winning even without KP, maybe they can trade him in the future to get a more durable (not prone to injury) player to play with them and help them to improve their defense, Luka needs some big help as he can't handle the big teams alone come this playoffs.

He's supposed to be a good trade asset on the team but for his current situation many team ownerd will dou t about his health since they might not use him if he will be injured again although his a good caliber player still the mindset of team evolves now mostly teams looks for young healthy stars to be added on their rooster.

He hasn't proven yet actually, he is not a big deal anymore on the team, due to his inconsistency, it has affected the team's rotation and probably the chemistry too. Look at Dallas, they started winning because they have adjusted on KP's absence, but the moment he'll return, they need to adjust again and they'll be inconsistent.

I think he's overhype by now maybe media is giving him a good exposure but actually in reality you are right and if he came back provably he can't contribute like before since for sure he's playing style well became different since he's injury prone. Many teams would avoid players which is something like that. I don't know if Mavs will hold him when his contract expires but as other stated its good to trade him to accumulate good pieces which can truly help them in their run.

That's why Knicks trade him because of that injury problem, Dallas took the gamble and now they are facing the problem again.
KP is good if he is healthy, but injury will result to inconsistency which will not help the team in the long run.

Most probably he will be traded or Mavs will not sign him anymore with another huge contract.

Accordingly, https://www.spotrac.com/nba/dallas-mavericks/kristaps-porzingis-17832/.. his salary is around $29,467,800 for this season alone, that's too huge for a player that cannot play most of the games.

we can also look here https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/porzikr01.html

last season he played 57 games only, while now he only played 39 games so far.

Look at Gordon Hayward. This guy has the same salary as Porzingis, and he also has some health problems. The Celtics traded him due to injuries because he played only one game during the 17-18 season and 52 games during the previous season. As you may know, it didn't stop him from signing a huge contract with the Hornets at the beginning of this season, and he got another injury after 44 games.

The Philadelphia 76ers are still planning on landing Kyle Lowry in free agency via a possible sign-and-trade. Both the Raptors and the 76ers held trade talks on Lowry at the deadline but no deal was agreed on at the end.
not to mention that The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers also tried to trade for Lowry at the deadline. Miami Heart is still not the only team of other three looking to get Lowry and it seems like something put out there by the Raptors because they are salty they didn't get a deal done at the deadline and they don't want to pay him.

You can't maximize the value of those players anymore, they are very prone to suffer for more injuries as time passed by.

Though medical clinics are there to help them out, it's all on the players side if they are willing to exceed from their bodies limitations.

We can bring PG, Kawhai and KD to this, they suffered with major injuries but now they are playing like they still at their prime, and also, DRose we notice how he slowly bringing his athletic skills back.

For now, we have four teams that guaranteed qualifying for the playoffs (1/8-finals). These are Jazz, Suns, Nets and 76ers. They have been great for a very long lime. And I can't wait to see the playoff games as there is a little time left for the regular season to end.

Great news for the Suns. It’s been over 10 years since they’ve seen the postseason. I’m happy for Devin Booker who was looking like he may never see a playoff game. Adding CP3 to the lineup has made such a huge difference. What a great move by Suns management. Some might have been expecting a buyout, but CP3 proved worth the investment.
