You're right about that. I was surprised to know that Chet Holmgren is only 195 pounds. Obviously, that weight is too low for a 7-foot guy, and it's one of the main reasons why this kid is prone to injuries. So I also think that Chet should work hard in the gym to gain at least 40 pounds of muscle mass and improve his stretching. Let's hope Holmgren's future career in the NBA won't be like Greg Oden's.

I don’t suspect any team that signs him is going to get their money’s worth. I don’t think he’s a good pairing with their young run and gun squad either. It's $5.2 Million for two years with a player option for a 28-year-old center. I don't think that's a bad deal for any team since he can still be useful in player rotations. The Sixers probably thinks he could give Embiid more minutes to rest while he's on the floor. Maybe they're hoping a double-double or close to it for 20 minutes?

After giving Drummond to the Nets in the Harden-Simmons trade, the Sixers really lacked a big at that time and it was Embiid who was their reliable big. Now they are starting to acquire bigs like DeAndre Jordan and now they also got Harrell who isn't tall for a big TBH but a good defender and a former 6th man of the year when he was in Clippers. His stint with the Lakers was the reason why his efficiency went down drastically but I think he can still contribute more to the team knowing how he played when he was in the Clippers. It's a good sign to the Sixers as Embiid will play less minutes.

I think his game drastically went down when he transfer to the Lakers, he still contribute but not as what we expected from him. Anyhow, it's good that he still find a team this season and yeah, the Sixers needs someone to compliment Joel in the middle so Trez could be a good fit for them. He can still defend and even score inside, give them good offensive and defensive rebounds too.

Maybe because he is not given the correct timing of exposure he needs to provide a good production for the team and Vogel that time was quite having a hard time figuring out who will be playing because the roster is quite stacked and that was the same downside of it.

Also, the Lakers made some mistakes along the way because they freed some more useful players that time just to get Westbrook which eventually became a huge liability for the team. Along with that mistake is letting Alex Caruso go after proving the team that he is one of the important key why the Lakers became a champion last 2020.

No doubt offensive production, but Melo also needs to adjust to his defense, younger star might expose him and take that advantage, giving him a tough game, treating him as the weak side to make or create a play on his side.

Seems not appropriate for me to expect Carmelo Anthony to adjust his defense at the current point of his career. He is almost on the retirement period. Why expect him to adjust on his weak side wherein the best thing he can do is to take advantage of what he's capable to do. The roster can be balance with both offense and defense. No need that all players are good in defense especially if Melo is on the lineup.

If struggling, then sit him out. He is currently averaging less playing time now compare to his usual. No need to give him 30MPG or something.

Yeah there’s no chance at this point in time in his career that his defense is not going to get any better. I’m honestly surprised that he’s even still in the league. I’m not sure there’s any players that have completely adjust their level of defense at that later point in time in their career. Would like to hear if there’s any examples of it, which if there are then I’m sure it’s few and far between.

It's only happening to players who are not popular, I don't hear this kind of report on star players like Durant, Kawhi, and Paul George when they were injured. Well, the team could save that amount if it will be approve, still a good amount of money.

I don't think he will be a starter in Lakers, for sure he will have to come from the bench and do his thing, with his defense. And probably he said it as somewhat like a joke so we shoudn't take it seriously.

As for the Mitchell and Gobert, it's weird though if that is the real reason for sending both of them out of Utah. But it's obvious that they have a problem in the playoff and it seems they always choke.

He doesn't need to play center, embid will play the 5 for 35 minutes a game.  He might spell him there for a couple of minutes but montrell can play some tough pf minutes depending on the team and matchup. Every team needs little toughness and he brings it.  Coue rebounds, some say vet plays, couple offensive rebounds and then ride the bench the rest of the game.  That's what you need out of a guy making 2-3mil on the team.

We gotta need to get used to how he respond to every interview he'll have. He always act and speak that way. I'm not sure if that what keeps him relevant as he seriously takes this role in getting in everybody's skin and I'm not sure why he's doing it with his teammate as well lol.
But they're professional anyway, that's the reason why we saw that picture of him and Westbrook laughing at each other. I know the beef they had before is not gonna be a huge distraction between these two.
The only thing the Lakers need to do this coming season, is to how they're going to run this roster effectively. Another factor is how AD would keep himself healthy the whole season including the playoffs if they get there.

Warriors had a good system, they also have a big 3 who are experienced enough in the NBA finals and have won a multiple championships together, so I would trust the Warriors here as they will likely win a back to back championship, well, I could be wrong though.
