During a trade a player has no choice.  If the Suns have CP under contract and trade him to the Lakers there is nothing chris Paul can say unless he has a no trade clause in his contract which I don't think he does.  Players only have a choice when they are glfree agents and looking for a team to sign them.

That is true. But Chris Paul is an influencial player. If he and lebron wanted to play together, they can make it happen. They can force a trade to make it happen. But like I said, it is not beneficial for Cp3 to play in the lakers because of how it is set up right now and that cp3 has better chance of getting a championship in phoenix than in Lakers. That trade rumor is likely not to happen but we will see. There are still ample of time to make it a reality if it is true.

Not to mention I highly doubt that Chris Paul has any interest in joining the Lakers even if he could. The Suns are in a much better position than the Lakers are.

Agreed the Suns are maybe a piece away if that.  The Lakers need everything to go right in terms of injuries and russ taking shape of older russ in order to male the plaulyoffs.  Cp3 has another year or so to try to get that ring, he definitely wants to stay on the Suns.  They got the shooting in book, just resigned Ayton to man the middle and have plenty of wing play in the likes of bridges.

I cannot imagine Russell Westbrook's feelings and emotions right now upon knowing that Schroeder his former backup in OKC is the one to start and he is now the backup PG. Although I am not that sure if Westbrook has grown enough to be mature but I still doubt the guy. But if the Lakers cannot send Westbrook out then they will make history. I guess this is the first time in basketball history that a backup PG is paid $47 million for a single season. 

With San Antonio and Utah losing their superstars, I would expect the Lakers to easily qualify for the playoffs next season. I am also curious if Dallas is becoming stronger next season or weaker. They lost Jalen Brunson but maybe Christian Wood and the other players will step up, especially Dinwiddie in the PG position.

I'm sure this is nonsense, but would be cool.  I don't think the Lakers have any pieces the Suns want, so I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, I doubt that will happen too. And there's Patrick Beverley who we know had beef with CP3.

In other news, it looks like Kevin Love is finally going to take a buyout and move on from the Cavs.  They're saying Golden State or New Jersey are potential landing spots.  I think him joining the Warriors would really help fill the hole left in Draymond's 3 point shooting troubles. 

It looks like the Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to get a championship this season if Kevin Love agrees to the buyout. They want the space so bad they may be aiming for another roleplayer to help Donovan Mitchell achieve the highest goal.

After being a superstar for most of his NBA career, a single season changed how the people see on Westbrook.
He has been the go-to guy when he is in the Thunder and Wizards. Now after having an awful season, Coach Ham is considering him already to come off the bench.

I don't know but comparing Schroder and Westbrook, I'm pretty sure Westbrook has the upper hand. He can pass, he can be a good point guard, he was a triple-double machine. I know that Westbrook will be better in this upcoming season. I'm not against Westbrook coming off the bench but at least give him some time to be the starting PG of the team. Maybe half of the season or before All-Star Game, he will be the starting PG and if things will not go well with them then that's the time that they will put him off the bench or maybe try to trade him.

For the Dallas though, still depends on how Luka will play. We can't discount the fact that Jalen was the biggest break for them last season. But it is still Luka who orchestrate everything. He is still in his prime and could developed Christian Wood as his new partner.

Wow, LA Clippers have a huge chance to be a champion this season, as long as John Wall will be healthy and he will still perform the way he used to when he was still with the Wizards, I think LA Clippers can make it to the NBA finals. I know we have the Warriors here, but I'm now rooting for a new team that is a great contender.

Ooh, that's like a liver punch to Westbrook if they implement it. I am not sure, maybe this will be good. If it's not, then he could just change it back.
Spice things up a bit unlike what Coach Vogel did benching Dwight Howard which is still strong even at his age.

Lakers are strongly considering benching Russell Westbrook

I guess it wasn't a rumor after all because the Lakers are already looking at it and Westbrook might become a sixth man this coming season, maybe this is what the new coach wanted for the time being while he is still trying to figure out what to do best with Westbrook and to utilize his skills. The Lakers might need consistency on the offensive end and Westbrook would be a good option for the Lakers' second unit to run their offense through him. 
With Schroeder and Beverly in the starting five, this will give the Lakers a perfect balance both offensively and defensively.

I don't know what's wrong with him either, maybe the people including us may have given Westbrook a high expectation because of the fact that he is indeed rocking his career when he was still in Washington especially in OKC. Or is his talent has already faded and he is not what we used to know? Just one remaining season for him and maybe we can answer those questions in our head. The point is that the league needs consistency and if these superstars won't give that to their team, then I'm afraid they will be just a story for the upcoming generations.

Biggest news in the NBA today… LeBron has finally decided to go bald. No more crazy headband and hair plugs. I think this can only be a good thing for him. I’m expecting Bald Bron to go hard this year, as his championship window is rapidly closing. I’m glad his hairline won’t be a distraction any more. It seemed like that was taking up more of his time than it should have been.
