Maybe the ethics committee in the NBA or Boston's management voted for Udoka's suspension. These NBA players and staff have written contracts pretty sure, every bad action they do represents the NBA and their teams too. I am surprised by the entire 2022-2023 suspension but it is what it is. So the betting odds favorite team this season is without its previous season coach.

Perhaps that's the case.
I don't know why they would agree with that. It takes out the freedom of being a normal human being and just having a job as a coach. (Udoka as an exception because there's no full story yet)
IMO, they might be too strict about it, there are certain fields like the one you shared below that should not be taken out to the media or whatever.
Minor problems. Family-related issues. I doubt NBA will be affected by it. They should not make it a bigger problem.

Meanwhile, Philly's coach Doc Rivers has gone viral lately after being caught liking porn videos. But this isn't ground for a penalty or suspension though. And they're trying to make an alibi that the account was hacked.

It's a little strange to me how professional sports has gotten so anti-workplace relationships.  Cheerleaders are threatened with the loss of their job if they converse with players, even outside of the workplace.  Now coaches can't bang who they want (granted he was married to Nia Long so the guy is an idiot)...  I think maybe it's about time to stop policing relationships between consenting adults.  You know this sort of thing is happening all over the league in every sport.  Seems like the NBA is speeding down a slippery slope with this one.

I am by no means promoting it but I think this has been prevalent in sports, hollywood, etc for a long time.  With the rise of social media and movements lime the me too movement I just think the public is hearing about it much more

Why did nobody said Wolves? I mean nobody expects them to be champions this year for sure, but they got Gobert and he is a good player and that improved Wolves a lot. It gives KAT to actually be power forward as well which he could be very good for and could cook smaller defenders down there, with two giants on the floor at the same time, they could end up with a lot more wins compared to last year.

If we are talking about teams that improved the most, then Wolves could be the best one, doesn't mean they will be improving to an amazing level, but from tanking to playoffs or thereabouts would be an amazing improvement for any team to have in a single off-season.

Well, how can I say this, I think it's quite safe to say that there may be only a handful of people here in this forum who believe or expect that the Minnesota Timberwolves will the champion this season. Wolves might have improved but they aren't the only team in the league who improved so much in the recent season, and they should acquire more experience to be able to reach at least Conference Finals.

They are definitely going to make waves in the west.  Haven't looked at the odds but they have to have pretty good odds for the finals.  They need a lot of things to fall in place but I don't think they are very far off.  If ant takes the next step, they could be a tough out.

I guess it's huge news for them, he is one who changes the franchise last year, so him being absent this season wherein they are one of the favorites because of how they manage to go to the finals.
Not sure though what is happening around the league, I mean I thought this is an open secret. Players bang everyone, and as far as I can remember, Magic Johnson got the AIDS virus because he was "intimate" to many females during his playing time.

It will be major changes for them unless the one who will gonna take his place is capable enough to tame the Celtic stars. Just when everything looks good for the Celtics, then this news came out. They could win this year with the experience they have built up last year, they are more prepared to take the championship this year. I just hope that the interim coach is capable enough to lead Tatum and Brown.

Coaches are held to the highest standard, though I think a year's suspension is too much, that just means that the Celtics are serious in imposing their policies and that they expected their coaches to be in their best conduct. They know that this suspension may affect their bid for the championship, but they still imposed it.

I actually think the opposite.  I don't know of many teams that upgraded better than Timberwolves, cavs and atlanta.  Denver will get better sheerly because Jamal and mjp will be playing.  Same with the Clippers.  If they can keep kawhi and pg3 on the court they upgraded by just getting healthy.  Same with the Lakers with AD.

After seeing Matt Barnes post that he was wrong originally and that this is an absolutely crazy situation where Udoka is in the wrong, it has me thinking this situation may be worse than originally portrayed. Barnes said he got a call from someone who knew the details and that was enough to make him change his mind. So maybe this isn’t just another woke cancellation. I suspect the details will be public soon.

Well, it's their way of ranking and that's how they put it up. I have no problem with their rankings and I don't see some of the players that I admire and am a fan of but that's okay.
No problem with Harden, it's like what they're expecting him to play, and as for KD and LBJ. Both are aging but still, they can play very well although KD is prone to injuries.

Harden might bring good season this year after cutting his salaries and ask for the sixers to bring all the help that they can

Well, he's really in control of his own and thinks of what is a must thing to do for the stepping up of his team. With the current roster they have, it may not be that encouraging to see that they'll be able to beat those teams that have more than 3-4 superstars.

With regard to who is better between LeBron and KD, I might say both are still good but I follow
you with KD's injury prone compared with LeBron.

I guess it's got something to do with how they train, we all know how Lebron trains and invests a lot for it.

Wolves are like Utah Jazz where they are creating hype in the eliminations but always ended up short at the post-eliminations.

But for those teams that are really trying to pick the best for their roster. It's per season that we see them like that because every team's goal to be the season's champ no matter how strong the other teams are.

There are super teams like we've seen in Lakers but they lost so, it's no guarantee that even a team is composed of great players, they can still be beaten.

GSW has a holistic approach to their organizations, they kept their pieces together, Steph, Klay and Draymond. And then move around players until they find a perfect fit, Poole and Wiggins, getting role players and then drafting players that are under the radar.

So this is what a blueprint of a franchise is, and this is no secret, from the Bulls, to the Lakers to San Antonio this is what they are going so teams should emulate it. But I guess it's difficult to find the perfect player for a franchise specially in this era as they keep moving from one team to another.

I don't think that's a problem for Golden State Warriors as their core lineup is still intact.

He deserve to play with the Warriors with a new contract, Iggy was one of the reasons why the Warrriors are successful, if you still remember, he won a finals MVP for a job well done on limiting Lebron James in the NBA finals, and though he is already a veteran, but he still has a lot to offer.
