The Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings game didn’t disappoint. The game came down to the last few seconds and both teams were making shots. An offensive rebound on a missed Devon Booker free throw sealed the game, but up until then it could go either way. The series between them is 2-2 this season now. A good chance they’ll see each other again in the post season.

Hassan Whiteside retired from the game of basketball today. He hasn’t been in the NBA for a bit I don’t think and he hasn’t been a relevant NBA player for even longer, but when he was having his moment in the NBA he put up some monster numbers. I remember seeing him get 20 rebounds and 9 blocks in a game. Not sure where it all went wrong.

Well, his NBA career was short, but his performance wasn't bad, especially in the 16/17 season when he was still in a Heat uniform. Overall, he had great potential, which he unfortunately couldn't fulfill due to injuries. I think if things had turned out differently, he could have been one of the best dominant centers.

Celtics on a win in the road, I thought that it was going to be easy for them, they built a 22 point lead. But the Nets was able to cut the lead to 6 in the 4th quarter and thanks to Cam Thomas.

I really thought that he will be franchise player of Nets, however, he got injured and now that there are a lot of players in the team that can be a offensive weapon like Bridges or even Ben Simmons. And the height advantage of the Celtics was too much early and they take advantage of it. Nets really need another big man to help Claxton in the middle. And it seems all their players are shooting guard or small forward.

Wemby is not getting the attention he deserves at Spurs, the players are just not passing him the ball and that's going to ruin them. I heard someone talk about how it resembles the first year of Lebron, every other player was angry that this 18 year old kid got all the attention and they have been at NBA for a long time and not getting the same attention so they disliked him for it and didn't pass him the ball as much as they should, which resulted with them not being as good as they could be.

You know what happened to those people? They got either waived or traded away and their stock value dropped like crazy, if you can't play with Lebron, you can't play with anyone else. So the current Spurs players who do not pass to Wemby? They will be low minute players and then retire.
Rookie crushing.
It's normal to happen especially if there are a lot of players who are jealous about the attention of another good player. But I won't worry about Wemby, he has Coach Pops and he loves him. He is like the Tim Duncan of the new Spurs. All he needs is more experience. And the management too seems to love Wemby so they will surround him with good players next time the trades open up. You are right, for those who cannot play with him, the management will probably trade them or just let them go.

That Wemby game yesterday was pretty crazy. A triple double with 10 blocks is something I can’t say is seen very often. He was 5 assists away from a quadruple double, which I don’t think has been done in a very long time. If memory serves me, I think Hakeem or maybe David Robinson are the only modern day players to have done that.
Mostly from the Spurs. Cheesy
David Robinson 34/10/10/10
Tim Duncan almost reached it at 21/20/10/8 but that is still an incredible stat.
Wemby will probably get this one day. Just imagining him making more progress scares the hell out of me. Cheesy He is an upgraded Rudy Gobert.

LA Lakers did great tonight winning against the Detroit Pistons. They started hot and ended it the same way. Thankfully, I made a bet for them. The line was only -10.5 before the start of the game.
Minnesota Timberwolves on the other hand had a bit of a bump on the 3rd quarter of the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Suddenly Jerami Grant shot 2 three-pointers and the lead was cut into one. I think they also had a lead but it was short-lived.
4th quarter, Anthony Edwards didn't even let them get that chance again. He kept on attacking the rim and he was unstoppable, he ended with 41 points.
They will meet again in their next game, but this time it will be in Minnesota.

^^ It was Showtime Lakers from the beginning, good to see Spencer also playing his first game as a Laker and scoring, a 3 point play and then a 3. And it seems that the Lakers starting five this score above 100 points combine again?

So with all the trade talks behind them, they are not playing solid and the camaraderie is already there.

CWood as well, maybe he is slow, but he is effecting protecting the paint. Let's see how long this Lakers team is going to play good. They are still at 9th place and the Warriors trying to get closer to them at 10th spot.

If only he stayed in the league, he would be a traditional center which is for me, not ideal in the current era that we have. I mean we are seeing an era where Centers are shooting threes as well already, and that's the thing that he can't do. The only traditional big right now that's still playing is Drummond. If Whiteside stayed in the NBA, he would've had a hard time adjusting, and it would come to a point where no team would get him which really happened. Anyway, I still remember him with his "Snatch-Blocks" where he would just grab the ball on-air.

That Wemby game yesterday was pretty crazy. A triple double with 10 blocks is something I can’t say is seen very often. TBH, I also think that he might achieve the "5x5" record where he will get 5 on points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. I mean recording a quadruple-double would be amazing knowing how versatile is for a center, but recording a quadruple-double, and a 5x5 would be more amazing. For sure teams are already preparing for him because they know that a few years from now, he might be the most dominant player in the league just because of how he plays. I just hope that he will not get injured though.

Yeah, it was a big rebound by Grayson Allen, and maybe this is the reason why they wanted Royse O'Neal as well as he hits a crucial 3 point shot for a separation from the Kings. And you feel the rivalry between the two teams, and for sure if they met in the playoffs, the series could be a heated one. Malik Monk is so animated being pitted against Kevin Durant. But in the end, it was a good win for the Suns, and we also have to mentioned Eric Gordon, he seems to turn back the clock with a huge performance to cover for Beal. As it was reported that he had a left hamstring injury. And those two All Star snubs? Fox and Sabonis combined for 75 big points between them. Fox with 40 and Sabonis 35 and bullying his way around.

Kings are full of talent but it was the experience of the Suns that gave them the edge to win the game. They just go back and forth with their offense, but the Suns have a lot  of weapon compared to the Sacramento Kings, and late in the game, it was only Fox that is trying to carry the team, the ball movement is gone as his teammates are not so involved anymore. They can't win like that, I like them when they share the ball well like how they played when they dominated the Denver Nuggets.

Lebron has always been a superstar, even from his first year so to see him still be great is an amazing feeling. Dude has been around for 20 years and he is still knocking it down like it's nothing.

Of course, for anyone who has watched him for a long time, would know the biggest difference between his current state and his old state. He is a lot smarter now, he has always been an incredible basketball mind, but he is not just smart about basketball anymore, not tactics, he is smart about his own body as well which makes the biggest difference, he knows what he has to do at every specific play.

In the end, this dude will go down as either the greatest player ever, or close to greatest, I would say top 2 easily, and I may even give him number one.

Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Gordon performed really well for the Phoenix Suns. Something I like is that the match was actually never one sided. the match was competitive almost throughout the whole way. Fox, Sabonis and Malik Monk played really well in this match for the Kings but no other players were able to actually have big impact on this match from their team. That's why even though they played pretty well, they still lost, in my opinion. The Suns had contributions from almost all the players. but the kings did not have that.  that's why I think they actually lost.  if they actually had any more contributions from other players in the team they might have won this game.

What can you say about the news that Golden State tried to trade for LeBron before the trade deadline? Also, it says that Draymond Green texted Rich Paul (LeBron's agent) if there is some way he can encourage or recruit Bron to go to GSW. This trade would pair LeBron and Steph Curry with the Warriors. If this happened, I don't really know if they would still be deadly as a duo. I know that both of them are still playing great this season. LeBron James is still averaging his usual numbers, and he is on the way to his 20th All-Star appearance. Same goes with Steph; he is still knocking down threes and carrying Golden State at his back. But if this happened way back in their prime years, this duo would be deadly. We all know LeBron loves having teammates that can knock down threes, and Steph is smooth playing with anybody; just look at KD when he was still in the Warriors; all of them are having their time on the court.

If that trade happens, the world will be in shock.

They probably offered something ridiculous for him just to give the Lakers a chance to dump salary and avoid LeBron causing an offseason media fest with his decision about free agency.

The 76ers also reached out to trade for Durant, Booker, or Beal. You can give them credit for trying, but none of those deals were ever going to happen.

I thought the Phoenix Suns were going to lose that match because in the 1st half  the Sacramento Kings lead by 10 points. In the 2nd half everyone on the Phoenix Suns contributed to win that game. The Suns looked better without Bradley Beal in this season. We all know Bradley Beal is injured that's why I think it's better if Bradley Beal  should be benched (even he is okay) and Eric Gordon should be in the starting lineup.

It's a even match to me, the Kings has a lot of talents too, but I do agree that in the end it was the experienced of the Suns that carried them away for this great win. Booker was clutch although missing a free throw really did the job for him as that offensive rebounds gave them enough time again. Kevin Durant as well blend in in the game. Most likely the Kings will have to review the tape as how they let this game slip away. It was just one of those games against the Warriors, it's winnable for them but in the end, due to the Warriors experience, the Kings somewhat can't get over that and lost the match. Hopefully Bradley Beal's hamstring will not cost him a lot of games again. He is also instrumental for the Suns as he is a big offensive weapon for them.

I can't believe that the NBA All-Star Weekend is already upon us.  It just feels crazy how fast time is flying by this NBA season.  I've enjoyed the first half, other than the ugly job my own team is doing (Chicago Bulls).  Now sitting at 26-28 on the year..they are still the NBA's most popular team in terms of ticket sales.  I mean this is crazy to me, and also goes to show why they suck and will likely continue to suck and make NO MOVES before the trade deadline like they should have..when you sell more tickets than any other team, where is the motivation to do thing differently?  Just disgusts me.

These offers made the think that there must be crazy things going on behind close doors. These rumours are just the ones somehow got leaked. To me, Lebron in GSW seems impossible and would never fit for anyone, not for Lebron or Warriors. 76ers reaching out to Durant or Booker also seems crazy. How would that even work? I may be oldschool but I liked the days these kinds of stars were just franchise players. Teams with multiple superstars kinda killing it for me. It started with Lebron going to Miami actually. I hope these things woul never happen again.

Truly Dinwiddie is a good addition to the Lakers team. They badly need to add some speed to take advantage of the transition plays and fast breaks while the defense is not yet set. I mean, Lebron can still run at his age and he needs more teammates to do the same so they can score easily.
Defense is not a problem for them, they now have a new rim protector at Jaxson Hayes.

Oh yeah, he might. Nice one at spotting it. In the last 10 games he mostly acquired 1 or a couple of steals, and he ain't even experienced yet so he might just get that stat someday and be recorded in history.
Also, I am rooting for him to be a Defensive Player of the Year someday. Blocks and steals are high, he just needs to keep that up.
And considering his Coach is Pops, I bet they will polish that defensive talent of him because the offense is already there. I've seen him do some skills that cannot be done by other big men, and highlights, and he only needs a little space to dunk the ball.
I guess the hype about him is just right. Now, staying healthy is the key. He doesn't want to be a disappointment just like what happened with Zion Williamson in his first 2 years in the league.
Wemby is legit and his confidence is pouring and he just need to be surrounded by players that would make him better.

I think lakers would not want that to happen since imagine how huge the market of Lebron and if they let this trade to happen then I guess there's a lot will be lose on their side. This discussion maybe didn't proceed since they cut this idea about possible landing of Lebron to GSW and this one just came out late since maybe some media just want to clickbait people to hype their article. I would say its impossible for Lebron to land in GSW knowing how big the asset would La ask in return and for sure they would ask lots of player which I think not really worth it especially Lebron is at the peak of his career and anytime he would provably announce his retirement.

I think LeBron is on a player option for next year, so teams could get him for nothing after this season. He’s also planning to play with Curry in the next Olympics… I never thought LeBron to Golden State was a possibility but after reading all the news today I think it could realistically happen. They’d just need to draft Bronny.
