How about the games between the Warriors and the Lakers, Curry point in a show with he wax hot in the 1st quarter and that no look pass for Wiggins for a dunk. No Lebron though, as he was rested. And obviously, the Warriors is being led by AD. But the Warriors had a lot of weapons here, Kuminga and Wiggins and Draymond anchoring their defense. All the Warriors that was fielded in this game score, with Trayce Jackson-Davis 17 points. The only downside in this game is that Klay Thompson continue to struggle with his shooting, just scoring 3 points in 28 minutes.
No Lebron James, so it's a easy win for the Warriors, and even if Klay struggled, they played on their homecourt and so the second stringers are very comfortable like Jackson-Davis and Moses Moody. And again, if Curry is shooting that hot in the first half, it's very hard to defeat the Warriors except for their early games wherein they choke after leading a comfortable lead. But not in this games as the Lakers starting unit has also struggled. So it's a good win for them. They are 2 games above .500 but still in the 10th place in the West behind the Lakers. Warriors are very unstoppable now. Again, the Lakers struggle with their 3-point shooting, unable to match the Warriors' shooting. Without LeBron, that's a huge loss for the team since the Lakers are just like missing Curry on their team as their leader. It's safe to say that the Warriors had figured out how to stay consistent in winning. Even when Thompson struggles, Curry remains with his hot shooting, and the coaching staff makes the right adjustments to use more talent and limit Thompson's minutes. I bet, in the next game, Thompson will be GOATing as that has been the trend so far for him.

Luka and Booker are creating another interesting rivalry. Both of their teams are also tied 6th place in the west. Dallas seems to be back as a serious contender in the top ranking since they're now 7-0 after the return of Kyrie.
The rivalry is already over between them. It's already concluded. Booker is nothing against Luka, my apology to those Booker fans here. A rivalry is supposed to be equal and match but there are lots of times already where Luka eats Booker alive. That's not a rivalry anymore if the other party can't even bounce back and regain dominance over the other party. Regardless of who's their teammates in the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns since their first rivalry started, it's already clear that LUKA > BOOKER. No hate. "Everybody acting tough when they up.” Maybe Booker vs Luka is not even a question at the moment and I do agree that Luka Doncic is FAR better player without a doubt. But also Suns looks to be a better team than Dallas as well. Booker is not alone, he has plenty of greats with him, including Kevin Durant, which was a shocking move to be fair but he has been there. Dallas has nobody aside from Luka, I mean they do have Irving but that dude has been quite interesting lately so I am not sure if he is helping as much as he is hurting the locker room as well. All in all, Dallas needs to build a better team around Luka to have a chance, that dude could eb the star of a championship team, only if you build a good squad around him as well, and find a good coach for him.

Booker hasn't really carried his team yet. The Suns before were a struggling team; they only improved when CP3 joined, and that progress continued when Durant joined and CP3 was traded. However, Luka is different, as right from the start, he was already the one carrying the Mavericks. Even with Kyrie joining him, it hasn't changed much; it only happened when Washington and Gafford were recently traded. I can say that this team now looks like a championship team. They are on a hot streak, and we don't know when that will be broken. All in all, Dallas needs to build a better team around Luka to have a chance, that dude could eb the star of a championship team, only if you build a good squad around him as well, and find a good coach for him.
I think they have already built that team now, and with this hot winning streak, that already proves they succeeded.

Yep, it was indeed a disappointing performance by Thompson. Nevertheless, let me remind you that he scored 35 points in the previous game against the Jazz. So, I think he's not as bad as it may seem at first glance, although his role on the team has really become less important compared to what it used to be. He might score 35 points but struggle in his next game; it's not what the Warriors are looking for. They want to get the same Klay Thompson who can back up Curry every time their main star player will struggle. It's true that his role is becoming less important, and that might affect his next contract with the team since he was expecting a good salary, but with his current contribution, for sure, the management would not be able to give that. He still has the remaining of the season to prove himself, especially in the playoffs; the Game 6 Klay should come alive so he can keep his value.

A few days ago, Jack Vaughn has been fired by the Brooklyn Nets. This I guess is the new meta for the teams out there when their teams don't perform well. While it is a big matter for their team to have a good coach, it's always been the resort of most teams when they're underperforming, to have a coach gets fired.
Yeah, crappy team management. The question here is: Is the Brooklyn Nets playing badly? No. Despite the frequent trades, player changes, and injuries, Jack Vaughn still found a way to put the Nets in the 11th rank of the East. He somehow made a way to make those newly acquired players play as a team. It's the management that is shitty for making this decision. Plus, they don't really have a star or a leader in their roster. I mean who among those players will respect Ben Simmons as their leader? I don't think they will. He is young and definitely not the leader type. I doubt it will also be Bridges, Johnson, or even Thomas. That team doesn't have chemistry to start with, they are playing isolation games but they can still win games. It's not far from what is happening in the Washington Wizards team. It's a management failure, fans know it, Brooklyn viewers know it, and they cannot just wash their hands after firing a head coach. Now they are being blown out by the Raptors—the Raptors which is also restructuring their roster. These teams management are going to do this, yeah, they've got all what it takes to do some changes. But are we going to see this from time to time when they just think that their team isn't doing well? It is what it is for them and the new meta for these managements that they're going to fire the coaches is just so absurd. There should be a federation of coaches of at least giving them the ending season before they get fire.

It's his last chance, but we've seen enough from him since last season when he was also struggling. It was only when the Warriors started to limit Klay that they got better, going 8-2 in their last 10 games. This is quite new to me since they weren't getting those stats earlier this season. The strategy is straightforward: give Klay more minutes if he is hot, or bench him if he is struggling. It doesn't matter if that will affect his confidence; he has to understand that he isn't the same anymore and face the reality to contribute to the team effectively.

I'm seeing news articles today saying the DeMarcus Cousins has officially retired from the NBA. There was talk that he had been trying out with the Golden State Warriors to be a backup center, but it seems those talks have died out. I would've liked to have seen Cousins have more success in his career. He was an absolute beast in his time with the Sacramento Kings and I think him and Anthony Davis would have surprised people with their postseason success had DeMarcus not gone down with an injury that then plagued him the rest of his career. In his prime, he was a truly special player.

That's sad news but wasn't surprising at all since he hasn't been getting contracts in the NBA anymore. Who would forget what he has accomplished with the Sacramento Kings during his prime? He was also a double-double machine back then. However, just like other players in the NBA, particularly Derrick Rose, injuries have ended their promising careers prematurely.

I thought that he's retired already long time ago from the NBA when he decided to play in some other local leagues. While there's still hope on it on that time when he's playing overseas that he might be picked up again but it is to no avail. I guess he'd just do the same thing just like what other players do and that's go to and be an import of those teams and other local basketball leagues.

That stat line for Jokic was crazy tonight. He ended with 21 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists, and shot 100% from the field. Thats got to be one of the best stat lines of the year, possibly up there with an all time efficient game. That dude is going to carry Denver to another title if the rest of the NBA isn’t careful.
I feel like he gets those all the time. Honestly it is crazy and it looks like he is playing so slow put there. It's like the game just operates at a different speed for him. The 100% from the field on top of the triple double is the icing. Dude is just different and hate when I hear people not respect the guys game. It's insane.

I guess you are talking about this. DeMarcus Cousins Says He Won't Resume NBA Career: 'I Know I've Had My Time There'https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10110396-demarcus-cousins-says-he-wont-resume-nba-career-i-know-ive-had-my-time-thereDeMarcus Cousins isn't retiring from professional basketball, but he's closed the door on potentially returning to the NBA. Well, that was sad news. I was following this guy when he was showing his workouts on his social media account. I think he is in good shape but like you said, the history of his career might have been the culprit to end his story in the NBA. He still got his career overseas but it's still different when you are in the NBA. The popularity gains are high and a chance for a better contract will always be possible. When he was signed by the Nuggets he played well. 31 games, 13 minutes per game and he was not wasting any chance he would be put on the floor to show his talent again. He played hard defense although no great highlights in the offensive end. I like how Cousins plays because of his high-level defense and a bad boy underneath the rim but that's not the NBA now so I guess that's one of the reasons why he was having a difficult time being signed. It's not his loss, he is in great shape like I said and there are a lot of NBA players who are playing for other leagues and still have a good story to tell.

And it just shows the argument that NBA teams are not into the hunt for a center or even a back up. Dwight Howard and Cousins could have been a good in any team right now, but in this era, as we have argued, it has change already, it's more on big men needed to shoot outside. But I do agree that during his prime Cousins can rekt anyone, and I believed that even Joel version right now, he will have a hard time guarding Cousins one on one. Injuries really plague any basketball superstars and we have seen it get the best of every players.

Ugly lost by the Suns against the Rockets, they take a early lead, but was not able to sustain it and then the Rockets take a double digit advantage. So it's time for the Suns to climb back and so they did, but they were outlast by the home team. Bol was instrumental as Nurkic didn't play in this game with 25 points. The Suns could have make it though, and it's a battle of free throws in the last 8 seconds of the game. Booker hits 2, then Jabari on the other end. They fouled Durant, but he missed the first attempt and then had a violation in the second. Fred shoots for the violation but he missed as well. 114-110 for Houston. Lost my bet as I took the Suns -1.5 here.

Maybe they already lost an interest to sign him out since maybe they are worried if they can use him for long time knowing him his injury prone and might they will just waste some money also roster slot for getting him in their team. I guess much better for them if they look for another center that would surely last long on their team since that might be more better for them. But its undeniable that Cousins is really great knowing him how big the numbers he can contribute on that team but unfortunately injury caught the man and that end up his career in NBA. If he didn't suffer those injuries maybe we can see him dominating in paint just like what Davis doing.

I thought he was going to keep playing until I saw the news on Bleacher Report. But now he wanted to finish his NBA career. He was a really good player during his prime, I always respected him. He hadn't been playing in the NBA for a while, he was continuing to play in Taiwan. He will probably continue his basketball career, he is still good enough to play and I think he is not too old. It is very difficult to play in a fast-paced league like the NBA. He can play in Taiwan or Europe for a few more years if he wants

And we all know that Cousins is hot tempered as well, so this might contribute for some teams not to sign him because they don't want to carry a player that will get a lot of technical fouls that could disrupt certain games and it could spell a win or a lose for them. So it's most likely not the injuries as he completely healed already, but the attitude as well. He was given a chance if a chance by Denver if I'm not mistaken, but he was let go as well. He did play good with the Warriors though, and I think that was the time that he could have resurrect his career. But after that he got injured again.

That cannot be denied; he really has some attitude problems that could give a team trouble. Although he still has the skills, his attitude is too hard to handle. We've seen him play in the past, and sometimes he has a hard time controlling his emotions. So, he could be a target for their opponents to get a technical foul from him and disrupt his game. The last time I saw him was with the Nuggets' uniform; he was a good backup for Jokic but would only play a limited time. He's done with the NBA but not with his passion for basketball, as, just like Howard, he can still play in other leagues like in China.

Another high-level performance from the rookie Victor Wembanyama. https://www.espn.com.sg/nba/story/_/id/39588370/spurs-victor-wembanyama-posts-5x5-night-loss-lakersWembanyama joined Jamaal Tinsley (2001) as the only NBA rookies to have a 5x5 game -- posting at least 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks in a game -- and also became just the second player to have 5 blocks and 5 steals in consecutive games, joining Michael Jordan. When you see the name Michael Jordan in an article you will be amazed at how a player can perform at the same level as him. Damn! This young guy is really something. And we are talking about it 10 days ago, right @LogitechMouse? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1220979.msg63661654#msg63661654The dude really did it. They may have lost against the Lakers but he is showing something we have not seen for a long time. Another big man who can play both ends of the floor. Better than Jokic, Embiid, and Giannis. The hype is real, there's no question that he will someday be one of the stars of the league and probably be a champion if he can keep himself healthy and the Spurs will surround him with great players too. I bet any veteran point guard would love to play with him, this is a rare opportunity to be a part of records being broken over and over by that young guy Wemby. In other news, the Charlotte Hornets four winning streak is now broken by the Golden State Warriors after they lost in a 97-84 final score. The shooting capability of the Warriors was not there and they are lucky Brandon Miller didn't go hot because he had been showing great stats in their last four games. The Warriors didn't even have a player who scored above 20 points, it was a bad night for them and so were the Hornets.

Me too; I bet on the Suns with a -3.5 handicap. Because they lost their last game against the Mavs, I think they will try to win this game on the road. The Suns are 6 games away against the 12th-seeded Rockets. So with that, I think the Suns will get this win easily, but that's not what happened. The Suns are getting outrebounded by the Rockets most of the time. I don't know if it's because of the young legs the Rockets have or if the Suns are too tired because it's their back-to-back game and they have no rest. The Suns get the lead in the first quarter, but the Rockets flip the script in the second half. The Suns get it closed in the fourth but fall short in the last seconds. Nurkic's absence was a major factor in this loss, as the Suns don't have someone to get rebounds and exchange bodies with the Rockets' front court.

The Nurkic's absence was a major factor in this loss, as the Suns don't have someone to get rebounds and exchange bodies with the Rockets' front court. The Rockets are very hungry to win because they were struggling before the All-Star break. So when they are back with fresh legs, they played a tired Suns team that is undermanned at the same time, and they were able to take care of business. I thought that the Suns were going to win easily since they started strong, but slowly the home team came back and beat the Suns in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. The Suns, although they came back, still fell short, losing by only 4 points. Suns are getting outrebounded by the Rockets most of the time. I don't see them being outrebounded because if we check the statistics, the Suns had 58, while the Rockets had 54. Nurkic and Beal are both out, two significant players for the Suns. Good thing they didn't have a blowout loss.
