The fact that Lakers managed to make Lebron take a step back is the greatest achievement in Lakers history and I am not joking. Yes I know that Lakers has a rich history, they won so many titles, they had so many stars, and even with all of that, the fact that they made Lebron take a backseat is insane, that dude is arguably one of the best players that ever played this game, some say e is the best.

So to tell him to take less shots, and pass more, and not have the ball at all times, it's insane to see him being like a third option on that team. Reaves and Doncic are taking the lead and they are doing a wonderful job so far and it's working. Lebron not playing at the start of the season made this possible because they saw that this duo works.

He's actually the third option this season and the sooner he realises that, the better for the team. Unlike the Warriors who are still heavily reliant on Stephen Curry every night.

Warriors is on different scenario since they don’t have Luka or Reaves which are young players that is consistent on high scoring games.

They only have Butler which is not that much consistent and other young players that is not with same caliber to Lakers young star players. They only Curry as main guy for scoring that is still effective on his long shot compared to Lebron that his main skills revolves on physical attack which already weaker due to age factor.

Exactly, this is the problem of Nuggets before way back when Jokic is the only guy doing all the work. They are always choking on the last quarter or 2nd half because Jokic is already gassed out compared when he is getting a decent amount of time for rest when they have a bench players that can contribute too.

A team is always better than a few players working for the team because fatigue is always a crucial factor on the end game since it affects accuracy and decision making of players.

Agreed. This is really Nuggets' main issue. They shouldn't be only depending on Jokic ever. He isn't a machine even though he has incredible stats so far. Regular season, okay. But for playoffs?

How long can he carry in that stage? Of course they are still one of top contenders for the championship. But especially in playoffs stage this time I want to see a bigger team effort by Nuggets.

It seems to me that some teams don't really care about the cup competitions. Detroit, which has been undefeated for a long time, lost in both cup competitions.
They lost to Orlando 109-112 today. I'm curious to see the result of tomorrow's matchup with Miami. Will Detroit continue their winning streak, or will these cup losses continue?

Any team can lose any game, and I don't think it's fair to attach any extra significance to it. Whether it's the playoffs or a championship game, sometimes you're not in the mood and you lose a game. This could go on for several days in a row, but I don't think it's a big deal.

Of course, I'd like the Detroit Pistons to start playing at a higher level than they have in the past, but it wouldn't be fair to say they played terribly in the games they lost. They lost both games by just three points, and they were very close to winning both times, but they didn't

I do agree, I think when Lebron was injured and was not playing, obviously, they see Austin as a good replacement and there are games that both Luka and Lebron are not available and yet they won games because of Reaves.

So it's good to see Lebron at this point of his career moving away and now becoming just the 3rd option for the Lakers and letting Reaves and Doncic doing their thing to become the highest scoring duo this season.

But I guess when they are going to face a great team like OKC, Lebron will have to play more minutes. But right now, he is taking his time and resting his body because we all know that father time is undefeated and sooner or later his body with the wear and tear will somewhat deteriorate.

Luka played with 35/5/11, while Anthony Davis had 12/5/5.

As we expected Lakers won the game. Lakers is really strong. Luka and Austin were on fire and LeBron was pretty powerful and he knows exactly what and how to play in the team.

I knew that Doncic would play very good against Dallas, I mean he plays very good against everyone but specially Dallas, for sending him away. If my GM came to me and said I am trading Doncic away, I would keep Doncic and fire the GM instead, in the end they did fire Nico anyways, like that wasn't really a shocker, we all knew that would happen one day, so no idea why they agreed or accepted the trade deal.

Doncic wrote that down and marked the calendar for every single game they have against Dallas and will play his heart out each time they do that. Lakers are doing fine at the moment, we are seeing them have a great amount of win rate compared to previous seasons, I am sure they will be great threat to everyone in playoffs.

The way I see it, Butler has been balling with the Warriors, so I don’t get your point that he’s not a good fit. The team is struggling mainly because Curry isn’t fully healthy. He didn’t even play today, yet they still won with Butler carrying the load.

Without Butler, when Curry is out, the team would struggle even more.

i was thinking Cooper Flagg is a disappointment few weeks ago... but his star is really shining now. he's only 18, btw. his season averages are 16.7/6.5/3.5. he played very good yesterday too. i think this kid can reach crazy levels in 2-3 years.

I can only speculate that the Clippers or at least Kawhi is still reeling with the issue with the owner itself. And it seems that their relationships might have a crack already and we have said that in the beginning that it will not be healthy for them to have that kind of noises in the background.

I thought that the Clippers will get a win here, but it was vintage Klay here, hitting like 6 three points if I'm not mistaken. And then even if Kawhi guarded Cooper flag in the game, still the young guy outscored and out muscle them. Too bad for the Clippers now and I think there will be a lot of chances next season and I won't be surprised of Ty Lue's head will roll.

Warriors beat Pelicans but i dont know why ppl are celebrating this win so hard, Pelicans are looking like a G League team and Zion is a huge disappointment imo. Kerr needs to stop giving pod all those minutes, gp2 is clearly the better option.

After the elimination in the NBA Cup yeah Pistons continue from where they left in regular season. By the way Pistons really tried their best in the cup too but lost their last 2 games by small margins...  

Heat really did their best last night. Coming back from 22 points behind isn't an easy work against Pistons this year. But still they couldn't complete the comeback. Without Jalen Duren, Pistons still managed to secure the win.

Definitely that's what going to happen on Flagg's Career especially if Mavs will try to develop him and try to rebuild then make him their main star.

In their current situation its hard for Flagg to take over especially that they have Davis and also if Kyrie will came back for sure that he's ball touches and minutes will get affected.

Mavs have promising kid in their roster and they just need to find ways to released his full potential. If they failed big time on this for sure their team will struggle to compete on playoffs for many years.

I’m a Warriors fan and I didn’t. I mean, I’m happy they won, but that’s without Curry, and we all know the Warriors aren’t really good without him.

A win over the Pelicans is fine, but calling it a G league team feels too much. If we’re talking G-league like team, the Wizards are way closer to that right now since they’ve got the worst record.

Although the Pistons' winning streak recently came to an end, I'm still impressed by their progress and results in this regular season. By the way, just a couple of seasons ago, they were outsiders who performed so poorly that they even set an anti-record for the longest losing streak in NBA history.

Wow, the Pacers picked up their second win in a row! If they keep winning at this pace, I think they’ll have a real shot at the playoffs. It’s a shame Haliburton got injured and the team is without their leader — if he were playing, Indiana could’ve been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference right now.

Detroit are being tested, they need to learn from the setbacks, this is a preparation for them in the playoffs that there is a better team than them and they need to adjust, every game they are being scout meaning every game they need to come up with a solution, or new strategy, if they will stick on that, sooner or later it will be easy for their opponent because they have watch the tapes, and study their movements, and plays, the coach needs to understand that, and i know he knows it.
