The Pistons get a much more comfortable win than expected. They managed to do it without relying on Duren offensively. Harris is providing leadership as the veteran. And Jenkins' development has been outstanding while Cunningham's still out. He's made the most of his opportunity, I don't think his minutes will drop too much even when Cunningham returns.
What's good about the Pistons is that they have lots of players who can step up on offense if their all-star player doesn't have a good night or if their all-star player/s is/are out. Robinson, Harris, Thompson, and even some of the bench are helping on offense as well. Also that Daniss Jenkins is also stepping up as well, and having some career-high games as well with Cade being out because of an injury. Overall, the future of the team is good, and I would also say that they're the team that can compete against the likes of Boston, Cleveland, and the Knicks. They just need to develop their players, and gain some playoff experience, and they're good to go.
Nobody's talking about this, but are there anybody here that are surprised about how the Raptors are playing this regular season? I mean I didn't expect them to be at the top 6 of the standings right now after an awful performance last year. If you will ask me which Eastern team surprised me the most, I'll pick the Raptors because of how good they are this year compared to last year. Every player is contributing on the pistons team which is a threat to other teams, aside from having a Star player, other players, can explode anytime which is a good as there are players on other teams rely on their star player during crunch time. Yeah Raptors are sliding in the playoffs which is an improvement, seems ingram is a fit to the raptors besides they also have other players that can contribute, but im not counting on them to be deep in the playoffs advancing on the second round will be their highest or will they surprise us more?

I think the chances of Simmons returning to the NBA are close to zero, even if he manages to get healthy by the offseason. First of all, I personally can’t recall a single case where a player who averaged just 2.9 points per game in his last season suddenly became a sought-after prospect among NBA teams again. Second, all NBA teams have likely come to view his past mental health issues as a red flag.

Milwaukee Bucks eliminated from playoff race. Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. With 9 games remaining, Milwaukee is 10 wins behind their closest rival, Charlotte.
Philadelphia ended Charlotte's winning streak tonight with a 114-118 victory.

Giannis has been showing unnecessary loyalty to the Bucks. For years, they couldn’t build a proper roster around him. they’re out here giving the man players like Myles Turner as if they’re superstars. He literally made you champions with a slightly above average squad. And on top of that you went and dismantled even that team for no reason. anyway that’s a whole different story...

It's really the Bucks that really did dirty on Giannis. Imagine dismantling their core and get a injury prone Lillard and then they surround Giannis with the likes of Rollins and Kuzma? That's why after winning a ring, everything went downhill for the Bucks. Even firing the coach that has a good record for them and hiring Doc Rivers. I have nothing against coach Rivers, but his system didn't work well with Giannis. That's why in the trade deadline, there's a lot of noise that Giannis will be traded. But it looks like he will just wait for his contract to expire and move to another team.

Giannis and Kareem. that says it all.

We have seen franchises like the Warriors or the Nuggets really took decade to have a perfect player roster that can win rings for them. So the Bucks did it with Giannis but they don't want to sustain it as they traded Holiday and then the rest of the core team. So it will be a cycle again, once Giannis was offloaded. Only consolidation is that maybe they can get a good player plus a lot of draft rights just like what the Thunder did when they traded WB, KD and Paul George and after a few seasons, it finally paid off with a ring because they got SGA.

It's time for Giannis to look for new adventures. I think he's completed his mission at Bucks way before this date... He's already won an NBA championship with Bucks so that must be enough for him. Bucks hasn't ever had an amazing roster since those days. They say Magic is interested in him recently. But I still dream about seeing him at Lakers to tell the truth.

Tyrese get back on the court with the Sixers and PG13 erupted to help their team win the game. It was a big odds and they were the underdog before the match. I was surprised the Maxey played and the Sixers manage to win the game vs the Charlotte. If I knew he will play I will definitely side them Another hit is the memphis grizzlies vs Chicago bulls, Memphis took the W! Burton and Coward work hard for the win. 7 players scored double digits. amazing neck to neck battle. You will also love their scoresheet, I thought Chicago will get the W! BOXSCORE

I absolutely dont like the current state of the NBA. The timeouts last for 5 minutes and they completely ruin the flow of the game, especially in the first quarter. I want to turn on the TV and actually watch the game but instead, we’re forced to watch 5 minutes of entertainment... every time there’s a whistle. Am I supposed to enjoy the sport like this? Are we here to watch a basketball game or this cringey American nonsense?
I don't watch NBA much until the playoffs, NCAA is much more interesting and a lot less tanking. Tanking IMO is what kills NBA basketball. Fans pay money to see their teams compete and they get screwed because of politics and draft position. You're actually right but since Adam Silver announced they’re going to stop tanking i think an even worse NBA awaits us in the future. because everything Adam Silver touches seems to turn out worse

Lakers will need to sacrifice a lot of their key player just to get Giannis because Bucks will surely not gonna take Ayton and a couple of draft picks/bench for Giannis trade. Lakers is doing good with their current roster while acquiring Giannis might destroy this current balance on their roster. Giannis needs to be on team that has full of young talent to support him like Magic.

That’s correct, the Lakers have really improved now and Luka has been unstoppable. This is the first time I’ve seen LeBron take a step back from leading in scoring and let Luka take that role, and the roster is starting to click as we can see from their win streak. Now that the playoffs are getting closer, they need this kind of momentum going forward. They definitely don’t want to mess up the current roster with how things are working. If Giannis becomes available, I’m not even sure if it’s possible, but I think the Heat would be the best fit. He would likely have a real chance there, especially with a great coach behind the team.

Dude earned over $203M and proved nothing. He went from one of the most promising players to someone no one wants in the league. Maybe injuries played a role, he lost his passion, his spark, his hunger to win, his hunger for a ring. He had the talent but didn’t use it the way he should have. If he lives like a regular folk, I guess that money would be enough to last him for the rest of his life. That famous pass is the entire reason he is out to be fair. He could have been still around, a veteran minimum at this point lol, but still be around, if he did not do that. Basically the entire situation is that he has lost confidence, he just didn't think that he had anything in him left after that. If he just did a simple layup when he was wide open instead of pass, then we would have seen him around. Is not about the actual action itself, it's just a proof that he had no trust in himself and that's why he did that. Teams do not want a player who is afraid to take a shot, they want someone who will want to take a shot and upset that he is not the one who is taking a host. You should build a team of 10 players who all want to take the last second shot to win, not be afraid of it.

They’ve already figured out his weakness, and if I’m not mistaken, it’s his FT shooting. When it comes to playing like a PG, he can really do the job, he can pass and defend well. The problem is he doesn’t have a reliable outside shot. For some time it worked with his first team, but eventually defenses adjusted to him and his production started to decline.

Wemby is now at the top spot of the MVP ladder. I still think both first place and second place is very wrong. I think players like Doncic who has been taking his team all by himself, and Cade, and Brown, these are the real winners.
Brown was lacking Tatum so he took over and did amazing job and took that Celtic team through the east and became this good. Cade has taken a detroit team that was battling the biggest loss record, and made them a good team after just a few years, and even Jokic would be considered better. Wemby is not doing that well, he is scoring like 24ppg a game, I love the kid but he is not MVP level player at all.

Hornets had a nice winning streak again but it didn't last very long this time. They got beaten by 76ers home last night. Actually I was feeling like Hornets would win. Because they were in the lead most of the time. Even after that lead by 15 points, they still lost the game... The return of Embiid and George has made a big impact of course. They have made a strong return with great stats.

Giannis already won a title with Bucks, and I think that is the best you can hope for from a small city team, and yes it would have been better if they could have built a greater team around him, but they were to some prime free agency location neither. They tried that with Dame, but things did not go according to plan with injuries so that failed too.
I think Giannis is now getting a bit older to mean anything too, you can't built around him anymore after this age by starting over, he is going to be a good piece somewhere, but he is not a top five player anymore, nor even top 10 maybe. So building from scratch doesn't have the time anymore, nobody can do that. So he either goes to a team that already is fighting for a title, but that team would probably not be able to afford him, or he just stays and finishes rest of his career at Bucks.

I’m seeing an awful lot of talk about LeBron James joining the Warriors next season. With a healthy Jimmy and LeBron, that team could be decent. The old guys might be able to make one last run together.

Giannis should go to a team where he can win championships again. It is high time he left Bucks. Even when he won a championship with them in 2021 the roster wasn't full of incredible players. But he was having a really good help from especially Middleton and Holiday. He doesn't have such teammates anymore. He should go to a team with a good potential and start over. He is still 31 years old. That isn't very old to me yet for a superstar. He still have time to achieve more successes.
