His 2-year contract with the Rockets starts in the upcoming regular season, and he has a player option on the final year as well. What I'm thinking is that, he'll play for the first half of the season with the same team to see if his team could still compete for a title. I agree that after the injury he is not the same Kevin Durant or even the OKC Kevin Durant, every time he is traded he gets injured, with the age chasing Durant that will always the case for him, maybe he needs to learn how to take care of his body.

Yes, I agree, that was probably the best version of the Warriors. They were already a great team before Durant came in, and when they signed him, everything became much easier for them.

In fairness to Durant, while he was with the Golden State Warriors, he did play a lot of good defense

I do hope that this trade will push through and if that happens, it will be a win for the Hornets ON PAPER of course. I don't see Reid as their starter, but more of a second unit star for me.

As for the Kings being the worst team, well they really showed that they are after they gave Ben Simmons a 1-year GUARANTEED contract, and even though that's only a minimum contract, they could sign way better players, but they didn't and instead gave him a chance. No offense to Simmons, but... let's see if he'll silence all of his haters with his performance. Well, next year they'll have a huge cap space because LaVine will become a free agent after this upcoming season. They could sign all-star players after that, and with how many all-star players that will become free agent next off-season, who knows if they'll get 1-2.
