The latest NBA trade rumor. Sabonis has been one of the best players the Kings have had in a while so it is no surprise they are trading him. Worst GM in professional sports.

“The Charlotte Hornets are finalizing a trade to acquire Domantas Sabonis from the Sacramento Kings for a package centered around Grayson Allen, Grant Williams and two first-round picks.”

There's a statement from a Sacramento insider that the rumors were not true and the Kings have not contacted the Hornets. I don't think the Sacramento Kings will be that crazy to give up their best player for a package with only Grayson Allen seems to be the decent one. (no disrespect to other players)

Sabonis is young, still in his prime. It may actually be the best age where he will be more productive. We have known him to be the player who always gets fouled out, but he is on his path to becoming a veteran now, so he will probably perform better than in his past years.

In the case of DeMarcus Cousins, I wouldn’t say the Kings traded him for no reason. As far as I recall, Cousins had conflicts with both the coach and the Kings’ front office. Moreover, during the entire time Cousins was with the Kings, they didn’t really achieve any particularly outstanding results.
It's worth noting that Cousins was certainly playing at a top level at the time, but if you look at his trade from a management perspective, the Kings made the right move because shortly after that, he suffered a serious injury and his career went downhill.

From what I read, it didn't come from Sacramento. But it's obvious that Sabonis might just wanted to get out of the Kings. They already have some good trades in the past and be a contender. But when they decided to trade Fox, it was over for them.

I don't think he has a chance even in the 3rd spot, and yes he needs to work and show the team and management that he is worth-it, and he needs to show it in one season the problem is the limited minutes that he will surely be getting, its a hard task for him both in proving and delivering for the team, if only he requested early trade or leave the team he could have showed more.

Kuminga is not a bad defender, he just came from a team that prioritized offense more than defense. But with his current team, that could change, and I think he can adapt to it.

TBH, Kuminga isn't a first-third option on offense if you will ask me as well. ANT and McDaniels are already given knowing how they performed last regular season and in the playoffs, and as for Ball, let's not compare both him and Kuminga because it's a big, big difference in terms of offense.

Kuminga's fine as being the role player for the Wolves, and TBH, he'll thrive if it will be that way. Heck, I don't even see him as a starter TBH, but the Wolves have no other options aside from Dosumnu which for me I believe will be his main competitor in minutes played because they're basically playing almost the same position which is Small Forward. I also want to blame his agent as well for what happened to him, and if there's a chance, I do hope that he change agents as well for ruining his early career.

As for Kuminga though, I really do hope that he change his mindset, and don't overvalue himself too much. After what Schroder did, he climb all the way to where he is right now, and I believe Kuminga will play better because I believe that he has the skills and the talents, but not to be the main guy on a contending team, but only for a role player, and that's pretty fine as long as you play really well.

KAT trade is about the salary they don't want to get, Randle always have an off on game, and i think even if they retain kat they can't make it to the finals because of how the teams in the west are, the one that they should have not let go is Reid, he is a key factor in their run before.

The KAT trade didn’t really change anything, because the record doesn’t lie.

So this team has been experimenting and making changes trying to improve. Now we have another season to see if they will finally get what they want, or if they might not even reach the Conference Finals again.

I think that's so over now, that no longer can't be achieved. Moreover, we know KD got that build even before he entered the league and it's probably not a good physique but he's so physical when it comes to balling.
