I wonder if they’ve got him figured out now… I’m expecting him to bounce back strong but I’ll be keeping an eye on this matchup this season.

I would say it's just one of those nights, but truth be told, I don't think I've ever seen him played this poorly offensively, he's only made field goal of the night was a dunk to beat the buzzer at then end of 3rd quarter, he didn't make any shot in the 4th quarter either and it was a collective effort from OKC Thunder, the highlight for me would be the rookie Aday Mara making a huge block against Wemby, not often does anyone get to block a shot from Wemby at the rim.

In contrast, despite the offensive struggle from Wemby his impact defensively remains unmatched, he had a steal and 6 blocks amongst several other defensive plays and efforts that doesn't shows up on the stats sheet. My biggest take away from the match is that if the Spurs' best player finished 1/13 on FGA on a night and they were still within 7 points with 4 mins to play in a game, it speaks volume about how much of a good team they really are.

That is not a good performance for wemby seems like he is not in a good condition tonight, on the other hand LeBron James have a good game, seen haters throwing shades again while he is still performing well with a body of a 41 year old and a performance of a rookie, we might see another good performance from him in coming games, the sixers seems adjusted on LeBron James because he is still playing the same play whenever he goes, what's the podcasters gonna say now to him lets wait.

I have an opportunity to cashout my bet but my faith that Wemby will explode in the last quarter makes it harder for me to bail out. It is very to see the tallest and talented guy struggling to make a field goal the whole game.

Kudos to OKC newbie center Mara that do a good job intimidating Wemby. Let’s see how Wemby will bounce back on their next match.

It seems Tatum got a bit rusty, just 6 out of 23 field goals and 0 out of 7 from the 3pt line. But he got 11 assists. While PG broke a new record for the most points in a Celtics franchise debut with 38pts. He even surpassed Kyle Korver on the all-time 3pt list. Great first game for PG. It's just that they blew their 22-point lead and ended up losing. I really thought they had the first game in the bag.

And speaking of rusty, it seems Wemby is also a bit rusty, with just 1 out of 13 field goals. I really didn't expect that from him.

But look at that, 32pts for SGA, and with only 3 free throws at that. Still a great scorer even with fewer FT.

I’m as disappointed as you are in this game, I was expecting Wemby to do more as well, it was quite a terrible performance from my Spurs Team, who I was expecting to win against Thunders, I actually thought Wemby was going to hit the ground running in the game because it’s their first game and they were playing at home, such a disappointing result after betting on them to come out with a much expected victory in this encounter, I must admit Spurs team didn’t live to my expectations.

It was obviously a bad day to bet on Spurs.

Big game from OKC though, they really looked just as tough to beat as in the last 2 seasons. Guess Wemby will find his groove sooner or later.

Is Paul George this team's new leader? While he was doing everything he could to win that game, Tatum was shooting bricks. Celtics didn't get a good start.

NBA picked a great game for the season opener. Pistons came back from a 22 and had a great comeback win. I think they'll do well this season. Cade Cunningham is usually overshadowed by other stars, but he could prove this year that he's better. They have a lethal shooter like Duncan Robinson, add Javonte Green to that. It looks like he'll play a more prominent role this season. East is once again packed this year.

To be honest Wemby pull his most disappointing performance in his career. Nobody expect him fail to meet his usual numbers. Truly crazy watching him, since its like he's forcing everything.

Winning on the road against the defending champion, that was big. Though LeBron was not the top scorer here but looking at how his teammates are playing you can tell that they're moving the ball well, hopefully with him the chemistry will improve so the team will be unpredictable.

I feel bad for these two guys, Dalton Knecht[1] and Kevin Porter Jr[2]. Both have been waived by their respective teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks.
While Bronny stays with the team, this guy lacks playing time and if he's going to a good team.
I think that he can be one of the future stars.

Dalton Knecht was a pretty huge bust. They thought he’d come in and fill a role but he never did anything to disappoint. They tried to toss him in every trade and even tried giving him away. In the end, they had to cut him. I’m not sure he’ll get another shot in the league. He was great in college but it didn’t translate.

I don't see him as a bust at all because in the first place, the expectations around him isn't that high at all.
I would rather call Zaccharie Risacher a bust rather than Knecht because he's the top pick, and when you're the top pick, the expectations of the fans around you is high. Unfortunately, he didn't meet the expectation that many are thinking around him.

Unfortunately for Knecht, there are no teams that took him after the Lakers waived him. I guess that just shows that no team wants him at all despite of his great 3-pt shooting percentage. I believe his basketball IQ isn't enough for other teams to be impressed by him. I just can't think that the Lakers took Bronny over him. Even though we don't hear it from them, we know that the influence of his father helped him to stay in the team. Now Bronny made some disappointed stat lines during the pre-season, and I'm not surprised if he will not get that much minutes as always especially in a team where it's being loaded by guards especially with Luka and Reaves on the team.

As for Knecht, he could go to the G-league if there's a team that is still interested in him. If none them overseas is his best option. It's just unfortunate that his career in the NBA might've already ended in just 2 seasons.

I checked the stats, the Wolves have been shooting well from outside with 21-50 42% that's kind of high while Miami Heat shot only 8-33 24%, that's a low number of attempts though, looks like they are lacking 3-point shooters.

Curry is having a good game but the Warriors seem to have weakened in the 2nd quarter, they were dominated by the Lakers and now the Lakers are leading by double digits, if the Warriors are still the same 3rd quarter team, we will see them coming back, and I'm hoping it will happen so we can see an exciting game in the 4th quarter btw the new guy Walker Kessler is also doing well with his new team, already scoring in double digits.

Their 2nd and 3rd quarters sucked, but their 1st and especially 4th quarter were good. It's just that the gap from the 2nd and 3rd quarters was too much. Losing by 22 points right in their first game, with the Lakers' largest lead being 35, that sucks. It's not a good start, and just based on this game, I think they will be in the play-in again. Curry really needs a reliable scorer who can score at least 20+ pts. It's obvious he can't do it all.

But look at the Lakers' center, Kessler. Damn, 12 out of 12 field goals with 9 rebounds. It seems the Lakers found a better center this time.

GSW did not made the comeback and worse, Lakers got better with 1-2 punch from Luka and Kessler. Also , is the GS line-up became smaller? Draymond is playing as small center agaid?

Raptors beat Chicago with 43 points - Portland destroyed the Phoenix with 41 points. what a first game for them.
