I think
between 13~15$,  large number of masternode owner change.

But 100~150 masternodes reduced    : too small number.
 
Can you explain this ?

Currently the number of masternodes is rising, it went from 4031 to 4077.



I suspect it will rise some more the coming days / weeks, reach ATH again and then exceeds it.

Perhaps the upgrading of older versions to version 0.12.0.58 created that dip in masternodes,
we went from 67% to 83.7% on latest version 0.12.0.58 in about a week.
Maybe they got temp disconnected from the network during the upgrade or maybe they were used for some
internal testing ? These are just guesses, i dont have a definitive answer...

There was a big sell down a while ago that could be made by a Dash whale followed by a rise because of the traders playing the market. Whether or not that was the first of more big sells from the said whale is arguable. But I will not discount the fact that it might be. Please share your thoughts and predictions.

not sure, lots of coins are tied up in the masternode-scheme, so they don't enter the market... Dash price is kinda artificial, so i think it can stay high longer than is to be expected...

I put the price overview on long interval, Dash seems to be in a stabilizing / accumulating phase right now
after having endured some strong sell pressure.

Edit 1: If one takes out the outliers it has over time provided a very good indication of the performance of Dash relative to Monero.

Edit 2: The market capitalization crossover is approximately 1 DASH = 1.924 XMR which was tested recently.

Dash just broke a major psychological support line when it went below .015 BTC.  While it went back up above it, I won't disregard the fact that it could go below it again and stay there.  As I mentioned in my speculation thread weeks ago, short selling Dash is best for now.  The next major psychological support is .01 BTC.  Let's see if it breaks that in the coming months.

You came pretty damn close with your analysis as Dash reached as low as 0.01051500, but i think those that wanted to get out of Dash in a big, fast and messy way have done so by now.
Meanwhile the masternodes with their combined collateral of 4,146,000 Dash off market currently are holding strong and i think Dash is in a good position to bounce back and gain
5th marketcap position the coming weeks once Bitcoin settles down to a more stable price.

Also the Dash traded volume on exchanges has practically doubled ever since xBTCe added Dash with several pairs .....
