Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ?

i am afraid when btc touched $400 i am not make much profit, but only small-middle amount and i think its enough for me for right now. but i hope in future i will make more profit when the rate is really up to $6500-$700.

I haven't since I know back then that the halving is on its way and there is a potential that I might be raking up more profits compared to only $400. I relied on previous statistics of bitcoin that somehow, each time block reward halving occurs, there is a high chance that the price would be waaaaay higher than it was before. I'm no expert in analytics or trading, but still I was correct, booked my profit on $670 and enjoyed it and paid off my debts.

Today's price is $590. So it has already risen $50 in the last 5 days. It seems the price will rise again next week.

Today the price is pretty low we hit below 600 again I was hoping to not get back to that point and only advance forward.
I hope in 2017 we will get above 1k and advance forward instead of always crashing back down losing all the progress which was made.

The golden age was before 2013. But during that time, the bitcoin was in early stages. There were more risky.

The price of bitcoin was very low then. But there was little possibility that will succeed. You had to take a big risk to invest.

Right now price is stable/going down though. Not by alot but still, I think 2016 is such a weak year for bitcoin.

I haven't booked profit at that time cause I missed the time window and I wasn't here but next time i'll be but if you bought 10 of them back then then that's quite nice profit for low effort. But ofcourse the real rich ones are the ones that were here since 2009

I booked a little bit of profit at that time it was something like 412 when I bought them up I bought about 3 bitcoin and still have the same ones which is nice cause the price is at 600 or so right now. I'm waiting till it reaches 1k+ to think about getting rid of them.

I never got profit when bitcoin was low due to me not being ballsy enough to buy it quick enough and the next day prices always rocket so hard that it doesn't give me time anymore to benefit from the low prices. Next times I'll be buying in too when it drops hard.

I wish I did but I haven't been part of actually buying bitcoin for a while though. I wish I joined sooner like in 2011 already when bitcoin was 2$ per coin that would be amazing. But maybe we will still get good chances to make money.

I was sold my bitcoins 2 days ago before falling in $400. I have only 70% profit from my bitcoins.
It happened what im expecting. According to the trader from outside the price should be reach $500 after that the price will fall, i was thinking it so i decided to sold my bitcoin to real money to gain a profit no matter what happens.

That's good profit, congrats. I missed this opportunity to book the profit and right now I am really disappointed with my decision. Next time I will make sure to take correct decision before its too late.

Off course there are people who booked profit when the bitcoin bought at the point of 400 dollar that is not strange becuase the price already hit up to the 800 dollar each bitcoin so yes allot of peope booked profit.

Is there anyone who has booked the profit by selling the btc when the price was around $400 ? I have some coins but missed the opportunity and the prices are down again. I was hoping that the price will go beyond $500 but unfortunately it crashed. 

I bought around 457 euro!! and then it went down, ruining my buy/sell average. At least I managed to do some buys/sells with profit too. But only with a 2€-10€ margin of benefit and small amounts (0.02 to 0.1 btc).

Hope it goes up again.

Enough people booked profit with the bitcoin and that is not strange because when you bought them on the price of 400 dollar and you sell them at a price of 600 dollar you will make profit off course not that lot but 200 dolar each nice counting.

I booked profit from when prices are that low but actually I didn't sell the coins I bought back then cause I am waiting for the prices to go even higher so i can book even more profit.
600$ is nothing yet for what we can reach with bitcoin. I'm waiting for it to reach 5k+.

I booked profit when it touches 400 i sold it when it touched 630~ something and now I bought some again at the lower prices of 580 so It's going good these days price changes are minimal but theres still profit to take out of it.

Bitcoin will never be accepted as a "real" currency if it continues to fluctuate like it has in the past. Nobody wants to buy $600 worth of currency only to have it drop the next day to $480.

In my opinion, there are a select few people making HUGE money manipulating the market. There should be no reason Bitcoin rises and falls $100's (Sometimes over 100%) in such a short time.

That is true. But when the bitcoin is used more, the market cap will be high, it is more difficult to manipulate.

Indeed the more it's used the higher the cap and then people would need billions to even change the price.
But right now I guess you could manipulate it if you are very very rich.

That is true. For the time being, the bitcoin market cap is just aroudn $10 billion. A small investment fund can affect the price.

At least you made a profit, I left BTC when it touches sub 300, then just came  back recently.  So i don't booked a profit  when btc touched 400usd.  But at this point i can say i am able to get profit from day trading bitcoin and altcoins.  Though i hope  that someday i can book a profit just like the earrly adopters of bitcoin.

At least you made a profit, I left BTC when it touches sub 300, then just came  back recently.  So i don't booked a profit  when btc touched 400usd.  But at this point i can say i am able to get profit from day trading bitcoin and altcoins.  Though i hope  that someday i can book a profit just like the earrly adopters of bitcoin.

Maybe I am too late to buy cheap bitcoin fellas, I bought it over $500 so basically I am already in profit now if I will sell my bitcoins, but I would not do it too early because I believe I can still see a better price than the current before the end of this year. Maybe if it reaches $1,000, I will be tempted to sell.
