Bitcoin is kinda a hobby of mine, it's just something I do besides doing my day to day job.

It's been really fun so far and excited to learn more about it everyday.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The first reason to buy Bitcoin is because you believe it's going to be big in the future, I don't understand Bitcoin if it's not for the long term. Of course you can use it for daily stuff but right now there aren't many reasons for the people in the first world except on certain situations, but in the future it will be huge when the goverment annihilates cash.

Well the first reason of buying bitcoin is to make profit depends on the current market moves. Not for holding purposes but to play in the market. Most of the buyers rotates the coins and not just staying it sleep in their storages.

well, it's different for each person. some people don't dare to hold coins as they find the volatility to be too heavy. what kind of person are you? 50% holding and 50% trading?

Im applying no percentage. Im basing my next move based on the current market behaviour. As long as I take profit, I will go that way. But one thing for sure, I will never hold for a long time. I will rotates my saved coins. Im making sure I will gain profits to get enough more coins as soon as i buy again from profits.

that's a good method for sure. you are a fairly active trader. i am a slow trader as i prefer to hold and buy low sell high after holding it.

It's the same for me. A hobby with some mining equipment then some extra trading and voila here is a bitcoin addict.

Can't wait to collect more and more.

i will start buying after it goes down below $300 because that is my sentimental price because i think if it goes below that price then i think we can see nearly $250 price again, then i will start to invest my money

I buy bitcoins for speculation. Buy low sell high.

Sometimes when i see a nice advertisement on the forum, i use it to spend it. If in time there are merchants and the price is not so volatile, for sure i would use it to spend it.

I am doing signature campaign to earn bitcoin. I know bitcoin has a lot of potential. When the price is down to certain level, I will buy it. When the  price is high enough, I will sell out.

Yes only with signature campaign we can not achieve big amounts of bitcoin we need for some big fortune. I do earn from signature campaign also I do work in freelancing jobs. Faucets also part of by bitcoin earning process.
May be for buying bitcoin you have missed the lower levels of bitcoin when it was priced around $220.

Well for the past few months no i am not buying bitcoins, because i am always afraid that the price will crash and it happened this month when the price declines for almost 150-180 dollars. I am planning to buy before the halving period.

Buying bitcoin never can be late. We always have the opportunity to enter into bitcoin. Just imagine if bitcoin goes to $500 levels in December, then you might have missed today's chances. So, buy now and if you get a lower level than today, buy there also. A better average price is the only thing we can get not the lower possible price.

I support this idea but i think that every one wants to make fast cash and people are not much patient to wait the profit of their investment, personally i hae decided to buy bitcoins before the halving period because i think that the price after that will be increased.
