Totally agree to buy now and hold for the next rise. When that will happen who knows as bitcoin is so unpredictable. So many were saying it would rise by end of the week back to the levels we say last week. But here we are at the end of the trading week and no movement happening. Best to wait until Monday to sell if you do.

Could be by the whales dumping and then all the sell offs from China.
There is always something behind these bubbles and then the big crashes soon after. When it is steady for along time, then you know there is no manipulation happening and it is just normal business as usual.

The time for buying short term has long passed when bitcoin bottomed out at about 220. All you can do now is sit back and wait to see where the current trend will go.
There's still a lot of time before the halving, so buying now doesn't ensure profit in the short term, but if you're prepared to wait up to a year - it's a 100% win.

The halving is going to happen this spring sometime in June/July so not exactly a year away.
I still say buy now till that is dream is full into fruition. Their is always time to wait it out but buying at the right moment is just in a blink.

it was definetely market manipulation, by who? that we don't know. but price surges like that dont just happen normally.

currently the price is kinda slowly going up again, right now its at ~350.

A bad time for a decision to buy or not, there is no indication whether prices go up or down.The range of 300-340$ can be maintained for a long time, and it is less likely to go below 300$.Many expect another pump this year, this time 500+$.

I am one of those people. Maintaining current price is good but tbh i guess a down to 280 - 300 will occur before the end of december.

Who said no indication price up or down before today price is really nice, up a little just 10-15 bucks and then down again 10-15 bucks that's nice to take a profit

i dont think its going to go to 500 again.. that seemed like a one time thing. i personally didnt sell my coins, but i might if the price goes high snough.

I really want to see again the bitcoin price to $400, but for $500 i think its pretty hard because it is the end of the year where people spent on other things their money.

If people spend bitcoin on buying things, and the retailers hold the bitcoin for a few days instead of selling instantly on the exchanges, it will help the bitcoin price.

i do expect the price to drop as well by friday or just after friday. all the sales will be converted to fiat and that will impact the price for sure. if we're lucky there won't be a dump at all after black friday.

True. Bitcoin sales seem to be down across the board, that's why BitPay had to lay off so many people and so many companies had to "pivot away" from Bitcoin. Even the true believers are suffering

There's still a chance that it can reach $500 again this year. Who knows what will happen this last month that's left of 2015. I'm really excited for next year.
