There's still a chance that it can reach $500 again this year. Who knows what will happen this last month that's left of 2015. I'm really excited for next year.

i don't think we'll see the $500 price level again this year. even if we do reach $500 it's bound to go down again. there aren't a lot people willing to support the $500 price level with their buy orders.

I agree that we won't see $500 price level before the year end. The top is in for this year, there is simply no more fuel for further growth, neither there is enough positive news to spark such a growth. Now having said that, I  believe there is enough volatility to some short term movements to touch $400 for example, but I don't see the price staying above that line for a longer period. We will have to wait till 2016 for that.

The price seems to have an upward bias.
If we have another run up like November, we could easily cross $500.

Ok, but why at all such run up should start? Any fundamental events or positive news in the last week that I might have missed to support it?
If it is just for speculation reasons, I believe it will happen closer to the halving event. Quite probable already in 2016.

Yeah if the bitcoin is around 300 dollars is better to buy now.

Before the price increase. But I think that Bitcoin will reach 500 dollars in 2016.

i dont think its going to go to 500 again.. that seemed like a one time thing. i personally didnt sell my coins, but i might if the price goes high snough.

I really want to see again the bitcoin price to $400, but for $500 i think its pretty hard because it is the end of the year where people spent on other things their money.

If people spend bitcoin on buying things, and the retailers hold the bitcoin for a few days instead of selling instantly on the exchanges, it will help the bitcoin price.

Of course, this is how big companies that accept bitcoin do, i don't think that they will sell their bitcoins immediately after finishing a deal because this is like investing in bitcoins.

Its weird how the price went all the way to 500 and then back down to the 300s.
I suspect market manipulation.

Could be by the whales dumping and then all the sell offs from China.
There is always something behind these bubbles and then the big crashes soon after. When it is steady for along time, then you know there is no manipulation happening and it is just normal business as usual.

Yes, the last week run up was very slow and steady which is very much similar to highly volume commodity trading. I too believe this kind of price appreciations will lead to higher price levels in short time period as the fundamentals are more stronger for more bull run.

Not convinced yet, I think it will fall short, maybe break it through one day to then fall back to $400s. I wasn't really expecting this recent pump so maybe there's more to it.

Yup Its moving higher and higher in rate compare with USD. Traders will earn more at this time and Please try save your bitcoins and sell it after sometime. Due to bitcoin price raise.

the bottom line is $400 so we will stable at $400 at this week
next week we could reach $500 and  be stable at $420-$430
