You might call me strange but in such conditions this actually works :  Start to drink and stop using internet , this way after sometime you will be badly addicted to alcohol but actually leave gambling, then you can treat your alcohol addiction easily as its a physical hobby and not just a virtual or online hobby.
No I do not think this is a good suggestions. You are trying to relieve from one danger and moving towards another biggest danger addiction. We need to notice one thing, gambling is injuries to wealth, but alcoholism is to our health.

in my country, the alcohol and smoke are heavily taxed. so it can be very harmful to both health and wealth. a pack of normal cig can cost up to $9 usd per packet.

Well in most 1st world countries most alcohol and tobacco is heavily taxed. And the reason for the tax isn't so people don't get addicted its because the governments are greedy.

Stay away from #Gambling.. You waste your money and time...
Trying to make good profit from trading with #Bitcoin_Exchange_Market and #Signatures...

The Bitcoin market exchange is not that easy to trade if you are new to the markets. And the signatures are a good way to make extra revenue but keep in mind you need a good standing account to do so.

well, trading is not that hard that people make it to be, i am not saying it is easy either. it is hard but it can be learned and with a little work you can easily make a good profession out of it.

and then later on with spending some time online and looking for information here and there you can improve your choices for investment.

trading need some basic skills. if you practice on them and get know these skills. you'll become a good trader.
and you can leave gambling also it you were be busy in other activities like trading and signatures as said above.
What a different trading with betting? imo that's both are same need good analysis to make a profit, i can say that because i think sports betting are same with trading.

Self-discipline indeed was the first and most important to remember to avoid gambling.
I also agree that better if he had studied the bitcoin and know that it is important to others. Not because it really easy to get, right ?
He needs to focus himself on other things more important than here.
Yep, self-discipline is the first thing that you need if you want to stop gambling addiction.
Also you can ask for others help with your money after you deccided to stop gambling, this way it's easier to manage your money and not use it for gambling.
Finding another hobby is also a good choice.

I don't think you should stay away from gambling, but you should only risk what you can afford to lose. Keep the rest in cold storage.

Maybe the OP had already a bad experience or a gambling addict that's why he ask for suggestions to stay away, to stay away is hard if your already addicted with gambling, that is already part of your daily lives, you need to talk to your families and friend and seek advice.

Obviously everyone's(friends and families) answer would be, "No, you better stay away from risky stuff".

But, do you think the gambler cares? He won't, until he lose all.

The realization is always at the end. Lucky are those weak in decision making who does not tried gambling since they are prone to addiction. This brings negative effect in our lives if we still in gambling but we don't get good benefits from it.

Yes what you said mate it's 100 percent correct. People will don't care about any suggestions while they are in good position. People know that Gambling is very bad if we once start playing we can't come out it's addicted  game then also people start to play Gambling. The all people are made like this only what we say don't do the they will do that only. So for them no suggestion will work.

Presumably try a gambling hotline or other gambling help.
(EG: http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/hotlines)

Personally not sure what can help, but I think something like a hotine or an association like gamblers anonymous should have information.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

yeah making another hobby is good solution for this addiction. If we want to stay away from this gambling means we have to addict for any other things it may be indoor games or time pass with your friends anythng we should kill our free time with these. We not get time to gambling then it's possible to stay away from this gambling.

If you are an addict you need professional help either way. I think for most people it is hard to ask for help but the alternative is
that gambling will corrupt your life.

-snip-
that would be cool but in order to become a stock broker or even a professional gambler you need to have a good history and have gathered a lot of trust and even then many people will not trust you with their money especially not trusting you to gamble it for them.
And the first question that everyone will ask, why you do not play for yourself when you can win, and if you cannot win then why we risk our money with you to lose them at one place, people are more intelligent now.
You are true people do not believe on those people for gambling their money who ask others to play by him, but people try to ask those who are more professional and who play for himself and win each time.

Not all are playing for a win, i know many are just wanting to have some fun. But if it is too late for you and you are addicted you sound find new hobbies away from a pc
This way you won't get tempted to gamble again.

I think on what he meant to say is, you need a professional people on how to stay away from gambling, someone like psychiatrist?? Am i right??
Sharing gambling with someone could easily get you killed. When your talking with money many people will get or someone you trust can get jealous and this is risky.

You should stop and control your self(i know it's hard for you). Maybe you should start something to have fun and enjoy your self to keep you accommodated. Or you can go to people who can help you or just to control on when to say no. But it's just my recommendation for you, it's still your choice on what to do with your life.

It is not that easy to stay away from gambling and that is because many people likes to gamble because they are also thinking that they can earn some good money with it.

But the most important thing to stay away is that you have the discipline to stay away otherwise it wont be possible for you.
