I usually stay away from gambling by mining and keeping other online projects going so that I don't think anything much of gambling. I spend anything on gambling as rarely
as possible. If I start to lose, I cash out and say screw it all. I sometimes invest a little and if I see some loss, out it comes.
Actually betting small and that also to relieve stress is not a bad idea at all. You should always do that, because then you cant call yourself addicted to gambling and once simple method that works to stay away for those who are addicted is - start spending time with friens and family. Well, when facing addiction, you need to lessen the amount of the activity that you're doing until you decrease it to a minimal point where you can finally quit. Hopefully spending time with other people distracts you as well |

You must do things that you like to do and it will be much cheaper than gambling. Or you just can find something else that you like to do with your friends, everything is cheaper and better than gambling. |

You are wrong, with this small betting you are slowly become addicted to it and after that you will become addicted and bet more and more because people never want to lose, if they lose they will just keep on trying it but in the end they will lose it. So if you are can't afford what you are gonna lose better stop playing because gambling is really addicted |

giving up an addiction depends on the level of the addiction. for some people they can just stop it if it is in its early stages and not so serious , for others doing some activity like going out and doing a hobby will help and for the serious problems they should seek professional help or some sort of counseling
but gambling is not just any adiction i read a article about gambling, they had done some research on the brain with people with gambling addiction compare to drug addicts, to make a long story short getting ride of a gambling problem was x5 times harder then quiting heroin lol. so gambling addiction is very serious. gambling can change your life if ur lucky compare to drugs that just ruin it. if ur lucky with gambling you can win big , and thats what i think make it even harder to quit. |

Actually i agree with you, because staying at home is really boring and it's make you want gambling for killing your time. playing games is the solution for that imo. |

You can avoid gambling if you get indulge in other activities. You can do some fun activities and such things which keep you away from ambling. I think if you have determination then surely someday you will be able to get away with this addictions!

Invest? Because when you invest, you also either win or lose. What is the difference? I hope you are just kidding. I'm not trying to diss at your opinion, but investing in Ponzi is worst than gambling in the casino, IMHO. |

But what if someone's girl friend is also addicted of gamble and she will get her boyfriends involved in gambling every time. I'm not trying to diss at your opinion, but investing in Ponzi is worst than gambling in the casino, IMHO. Although I understand what you're trying to say, you're jumping to conclusions by stating that they're planning on investing in a ponzi scheme. They hadn't even revealed the nature of where they were going to invest their money in, so there's no evident reason to talk about ponzis. I know that investments are gambling as well, but investments are looked as safer options, and I personally believe that to be reflective. Don't invest in ponzis, obviously, but one could invest in stocks or perhaps even bitcoins? |

Yes. You can try to avoid gambling by spending more time with friends and family, try to avoid gambling everytime and find a reason to avoid it, like start playing some sort of sports and try to avoid gambling when playing and so on. |

You just have stop, control yourself to stop with it, I think if you just remember your losses you are done with gambling fast because you will the realize how much you lost and you really have to stop.
I think this is the best option you can pick there are of course other methods to stay away from gambling, for some its easy and for some people there is a real professional needed.

You can just delete all your gambling accounts on all online gambling websites, I think that is a good first step you can take to accepting your addiction, the second point is than that you can not gamble anymore so easily as you can understand.
The best method to stop/stay away from gambling is by see the addiction under eyes, you have to be honest against yourself.

But even though, faucet money is free but one need to spend time to get those coins and also those are very less coins and I feel it is simply waste of time. The way I look at it is this:
Would you pay 1% to send money from one bitcoin account of yours to another?
Every time you play/gamble the house makes makes their cut (1% is among the best of them), and 99% gets paid out somewhere else (regardless of who). Each time you play you lose 1%. Compound that every time you roll the dice. You are also losing your time & life of course.
Hope that helps, at least see gambling more clearly.

Gambling is an addiction like any other else, I would suggest to be practical, is to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist.  Actually this is not a bad idea at all. Gambling if you may is basically a presenting problem of a much bigger problem you got. Once you were able to deal with it, gambling will be much easier to take on. Yes some seriously taken medical advice can be helpful as gambling often people think is not a big issue or addiction, but in actual it is and certainly growing over time. I think hardly 10% people are able to get out of it, once trapped. |
