Why not educate them by telling them the basics of it on how it works what is the especially features does it have that separates it from the fiat currency that we usually use.

It makes some sense for local business. If there isn't demand there is no reason to accept Bitcoin as payment method. But if the business owner is a Bitcoin enthusiast I think it would be a very good idea anyway. Being an enthusiast this person would be probably a holder and he wouldn't be worried about exchanging BTC to fiat often, so there wouldn't be any problem by receiving payments from only 3-10 people in BTCs and keeping the money in BTC for a long time.

Also, a business owner like this could start a campaign on his city to increase adoption.

What will your platform do that bitcoin can't do by its own? I think none at all. Unless your platform can eliminate waiting time and transaction fee which will lead for you to lose money, by the way. Obviously you are not going to do this for free and so you will charge the store owner for the "platform" that you have made. Once they found out that everything is free, and everything can be done by their own, you will start getting bad feedback. Another thing, it's only a matter of time for that "platform" to become a common knowledge to everyone so your business is rather temporary.

I am not getting you like what kind of curiosity you want to give them. Rather making them curious about bitcoin, it is better to introduce them to bitcoin and then ask them to search further themselves.
