I would have said Bitfinex in the past, but recent events have made me back down from even considering that.  Given the high risk of P2P loans, I don't think there is really a good way to invest them.  Just buy some coins and invest using fiat.  BTC is enough of an investment in itself without adding another party into it.

Getting more scary mow thanks to Bitfinex. People's trust from online wallets are now broken. Now, I would rather keep the profit from my invested bitcoin in fiat than be at a high risk.

This is a wake up call for the exchange sites to strengthen their security as they are losing some clients if that will happen again, we need also to be very vigilant with our money as that is important for us, just learn how to minimize the risk and do not just trust in one exchange site.

That is correct they need to strenghten their securities because if there is something bad will happen like bitfinex i think most of the users of bitcoin will stop using trading method instead they only keep their bitcoin in their wallet. and also some of the exchange will be affected.

Or unless there are some inside job that is going on, with what has happen it really affects the market of bitcoins as evidenced by the current price now. Let us hope for the best in the future and this price will not continue to fall back as we will not be able to achieve our goal to make profits.

May be we will see some price drop in next few days as price is not ready to go up at a moment, so either  buying or holding our existing coins is the best thing to do.

Gold has the same attributes and you can't invest gold. Bitcoin has the same attributes. People need to stop looking for places to invest it. Most are scams. Just like gold hold and hope for price appreciation.
People get exited when they see their investment at green, soo they sell the coins, its very hard to resist, you invest 5000 dollars and the current size of your coins is worthing 7500 dollars i would sell them, even knowing it can and will hit bigger values.
But i agree its better save then support ponzis but not all websites are ponzis.
Gold is never a scam as it has been proven that the price will continue to increase, on the other hand if you invest your money in a certain website, make sure you did the right research before putting your money as there are a lot of scammers online and if you are not convinced then you still have an option which is to hold your bitcoins.

Investing in gold is always safer in compare to investing bitcoin online, as in gold you are holding it physically and its store in your own custody where you can access it anytime you want.
Gold has been the store of value, and the preferred method of asset protection for more than 5,000 years. but I strongly believe that every investor ought to own at least some bitcoins. You see, most of the people buying bitcoin are interested in the explosive growth potential. bitcoin offers, as more and more retailers, CEOs, and governments embrace it.

No doubt bitcoin is an new and innovative form of investment and people are willing to invest in bitcoin  as they are very well aware that they can make huge profits from it.
i hope that you are right, if people wouldnt be putting money into bitcoins at the moment then the price would fall in a longer run, i hope this wont happen
of course it is not going to happen, at least not in this century, in my opinion from now on the price can only grow significantly after the last drop

There is no guarantee that price will go higher now onwards, anything is possible with bitcoins, either it will increase or decrease in coming months as no one can control its price.

Yeah experience and try and try is one of the success in trading better to try your self to learn in trading. while you are losing there you will earn and understand it gradually invest small amount just to learn how trading works.. after that if you understand it well better to try analysis the graph of the price and learn how the graph works.

It could be better for you because you might have the full knowledge and skills to earn consistently but for others it is a different story because trading will also lose our money, it is not guaranteed a profit when doing trading as there are some projects that was just created for pump and dump purposes and only people with enough knowledge can spot that.

Losing is the best way to get experience. If people dont know how to risk something then how can you get success. All of us here are already risking our bitcoin, just letting it stay in our wallets or the fact that bitcoin price is fluctuating much is already a risk

There are several crypto projects that are basically startups. I recommend you to look at the best currencies on the coinmarketcap website, then follow the team and development of the coins to see if it is worth investing.

But always remember to high volume currency that you can see in altcoins section, you need to study the coins itself and not just put your investment directly as there are also scammers all over the community, you might lose your interest when your first experience is bad.

Investing in altcoin is the best thing to do, but  make sure that you choose a right coin and altcoin market involves huge pumps and dumps so we need to take decision at the right time.

There are several crypto projects that are basically startups. I recommend you to look at the best currencies on the coinmarketcap website, then follow the team and development of the coins to see if it is worth investing.
yeah I think there are a lot of cryptocurrency that have the potential to have a high price. You must be keen in choosing crypto currency. This is a good investment for you dude

Investing in altcoin is the best thing to do, but  make sure that you choose a right coin and altcoin market involves huge pumps and dumps so we need to take decision at the right time.

I want to do this but still I dont know what altcoin it is to trust. I see ETC is really growing and its background from ETH became successful. I dont really know if I am a little picky or just being too much cautious with what to invest in.

If  you have plan to invest in ETC then I think this is the right time for you to invest in it, as it is expected that price will rise in coming days, so you will be making good profits in quick time.

I do not think so. It is better to wait until the middle of September to buy the ETC. At that time, we will know if the dump of the ETC has finished or not.
