for me both because paypal is number one payment and paypal is accepted in many stores , you can buy ramdom stuff using paypal , paypal is famous and but then i knew about bitcoin and i start using bitcoin which is i use bitcoin to pay some bills here in my country here in my country bitcoin now is famous and growing many user uses bitcoin to pay bills
I do prefer bitcoin only, When it comes to sending money to my love ones it is easier for them to get it. It is cash at an ATM machine. No need to have a card just go there put the account number and pin. Unlike, before using paypal where here in our country we need an ATM and a bank who will verify my paypal account and some more blah blah blah and payments just to have one. Plus the transfer price. |

if OP ask about online shopping for now of course Paypal still better to use in online shop, but don't know maybe in future bitcoin can be better , only need to wait some shop accept bitcoin as payment

Most of the online shops will accept paypal but not Bitcoin.Not yet!I hope this will change in the future. If I could choose between those two to pay for goods in one shop I always would take Bitcoin of course. BTC is faster, cheaper and only an delivery address for the goods is needed. i dont think you should pick bitcoin above the paypalk paying method becasue the paying method paypal is many times better and many times more secured than the bitcoin method. |

Well that's for sure, but there are now some stores and merchants who are accepting bitcoin online for the payment of their products. But I think paypal is considering to accept bitcoin to their service. Hopefully it will happen so that paypal and bitcoin will merge and going to be the strongest online payment sender in the world. |

I have a very bad opinion about PayPal. I received payments from the company for their advertising on my website. For the accumulated funds decided to buy BTC. I thought that only BTC seller bears the risk of chargeback..
I paid for 0.09 BTC, sent as friends & family and the seller did not send me BTC.
End of story.

The only reason behind it is bitcoin transactions are irreversible while Paypal can be reversed or you can get support from their team if something goes wrong, but if you transact with care then bitcoin is the best. |

What's the use of bitcoin if all in all people will just treat this as an investment rather than currency because many here like the price rise to the moon. No chance that bitcoin can beat Paypal because the used of it is not really present because like I said everyone wants to hold it rather than use it.
For bitcoin to become dominating than Paypal it must be used more as an currency and not as an investment. Paypal is widely used by all merchants in the world because fiats really circulates everyday.

Very rightly said, people are treating bitcoin as an investment and not as a currency, and they believe in holding rather then spending, if we want to see bitcoin at higher level then circulation must be done. |

And you don't have to choose any of them. Just max out their use and use them while you can. You don't have limit yourself from using them both. |

You have to know that Bitcoin is becoming used and popular and that is really nice for the currency because we can make some profit soon and that is nice.
But of course it is hard to know that is going to be more worth and what is going to happen later in the future so that is the problem.

Well it's really hard to compare two completely different ideas together, however based on all their merits I'd still prefer bitcoin over paypal because bitcoin is anonymous and completely safe.
Paypal can freeze your account anytime, while it's impossible for BTC.

present i will use paypal only because Bitcoin is not legal in my country i will use paypal only. Bitcoin is easy to do in online purchasing but sites are not allowing this money so present paypal will accept in some countries so i think more people will use this paypal only.
Lol if the government did ban for using bitcoin and then if you're still using bitcoin is it they'll put you in jail for using bitcoin? of course not, they do not have any proof that you were using bitcoin? because bitcoin anonymous. so do not get too giddy about illegal bitcoin? |

I'm going for them both, I really cannot choose I like them both and they both have their own nice advantages right ?
Me either it is better if you are going to use both of them. As long as you know their advantages and you can use them right. Just maximize their use and you don't have to choose only one of them. Use them both. As you can see now you see that Bitcoin is getting more popular and used and that is really nice of the currency. But of course it is really hard to know what will happen in the future and that is the problem and also the most risky thing. |

Yeah, you don't have to choose only one from them. As long as you can use both of them from your earnings. Then why you just going to choose one from them. Just use their different advantages and conveniences. But for me, it is really more convenient to use bitcoin because it has less charging fees unlike paypal. |

That's the advantage of paypal today, they are just earlier created so people tend to use them and find convenience to it. But if they are created at the same with bitcoin, for sure people will jump to bitcoin because they can see the convenience and the money they can save from using it. |
