Paypal and bitcoin are pretty much the same thing. But if you are shopping online paypal would be the better option.
Paypal is worldwide better known and therefore used for online webshops.
BTC cann't be properly compared to PayPal until we have a system like the Lightning Network up and running. Until then, Bitcoin will still be seen as a extremely robust form of money that replaces gold and not something you would use on the daily basis to buy good and services. |

Paypal and Bitcoin are two competely different things, there is nothing to compare. PayPal is online money service and Bitcoin is cryptocurrency. Besides you can use Bitcon alos on PayPal too, as a way of payment.

I have funds from both Paypal and Bitcoin Wallet. It's no reason to leave one behind as both giving me benefits and services that I want. Both has good features too. No sense if I will compared them.

PP allows us to recover our money when a scammer tries to steal us,but the high fees involved into it make me now avoid those system and be full at bitcoin, |

Paypal no matter what country or webshop you will most of the times be able to pay with paypal. They re worldwide.
With Bitcoin that is not the case it's trying to be wear PayPal is Right now.

for shopping is certainly the most widely used is paypal. because paypal was deliberately created for online payment methods. so thats why nearly all online store accepted paypal as payment methode |

I would most probably go for bitcoin but the difference from paypal and bitcoin is not that great and maybe paypal is better because it is used much more globally than bitcoin is because people around the world have not come to know about bitcoin

Two entirely different services/concepts. I'm sure were all bitcoin fans here but something tells me you would rather use paypal for purchases on ebay to avoid being scammed and I'm also sure many of us would prefer to use bitcoin when we want to be fairly anon or make purchases on the darknet etc. Both services have pros and cons and are better/worse in certain circumstances but bitcoin is certainly an alt option outside of the mainstream but at the moment paypal ic accepted on pretty much most online retailers where bitcoin is the opposite.

Paypal is good for online shopping, but when it comes to online remittances then I feel that bitcoin is the best and people will switch to bitcoin in future for sure when many new sites will start accepting bitcoins. |

The merchant which is offering both Paypal and bitcoin, everyone will go for Bitcoin. |

I use Bitcoin in the most cases , but sometimes we find ourselves forced to use Paypal because Bitcoin isn't supported everywhere till now unluckily
However i prefer always to use Bitcoin instead Paypal

I would go for the bitcoin because I hate Paypal due to his rules and limited transactions, another reason why I not use it is because its also slow with all disputes you are making to get your money back.
The bitcoin is much better because its faster and overall much more secure to use and pay something with it.
Another reason is why you should use the bitcoin is because its untraceable and you can control your own money with it, no bank is involved in the transaction.

Personally I prefer bitcoin, but probably this is due to me being one of the high-five bitcoin fans, In reality the range of selection would be really narrow if you are using bitcoin, You would need to choose from 3-4 Merchant websites rather than a list of websites and top stores which is the case with PayPal, For merchants however I think bitcoin has more advantages "with it's disadvantage being it is only used by few customers".

If you and your receiver both have the Paypal account, I thought it is free to send the money and very fast. |

Both of them works for me. But paypal has more merchandizers using it. You can use it in more sites than bitcoin. On the otherhand, bitcoin has no refund while paypal can take back your money. And paypal can freeze funds and you need to be identified. Bitcoin is anonymous.

General rule is use bitcoin whenever it is possible. ALWAYS try to buy stuff with BTC if merchant gives you this option.
This ways we show then than bitcoin is not just some slogan and logo which looks good on their site.
