"For sure, with all revolutionary technology there are great risks and it's the right thing to be open about it, even in a space like crypto where people are used to risk." Did you know XAPO keeps its private keys on a satelite in low orbit of the earth

wow so after the crowdsale you now must donate more or your coin will be worthless. That sounds a bit harsh like.

There are not many musts in life, but a lot of should nots. For instance, should not signature spam.

How will it be worthless? The software operates exactly as intended when you bought it, the company who sold the token specify in terms of sales that we will deliver software, not work to make the tokens increase in value from a monetary perspective through marketing, adoption campaigning, branding, ecosystem building etc; that is a community effort. Keep in mind that we - the company - didn't allocate a single iota for ourselves, precisely to avoid people thinking that we were somehow obligated to do any work beyond our sales agreement of developing and delivering software to our customers. We have proposed a foundation, and it's up to the community by 100% choice to participate or not. It is 100% a free choice, unlike what would have been the case if we had premined 5-10-20% like other projects. The reason we chose not to do such a premine is that you can't force success and so we leave it up to the community. As ethical, fair, open and professional as physically possible.

It's completely fair. IotaToken stated many times that this is not an investment but software developers can purchase to implement for their IOT devices. I think they are being generous by offering their continued support for such little expense. I for one will be donating 10% of what little iota I bought when donating is back on.

You paid for software, now you got the opportunity to pay for a dedicated group of proven activists to ensure adoption of your software which will increase it's utility and value. It's a different entity altogether. It'll be a non-profit foundation and is not related to the company that develops and sold IOTA software beyond the fact that a portion of the foundation will consist of us (the founders of IOTA).

Today after some analysis I will be able to finally provide official launch date (which is not far off).

If you don't mind I would wait for the network to upgrade. It's still a mess of new and old nodes.

Need a little community help here. I tried the chatroom, but no one could help there. In short, I can't bring up the wallet for IRI-0.9.19, after following the instructions (on the link below) and after loading the Nostalgia webpage, there's a box that says "seed" and no matter what I put in, nothing happens. Back in March I had signed up to get an address over at http://collect.iotatoken.com which is now down (?). This assigned me a IOTA address. No idea what the process is to move forward. Any help would be appreciated. http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/iota-testing-of-0-9-21-has-commenced/274Thanks, C
