please to those who dump, at least try to spend your PIVX in businesses who accept them, to grow the ecosystem.

For the others, the question is will PIVX win the coming concentration? With the Cambrian explosion of chains, it's clear that a lot will die. And it's equally sure that the PIVX chain, what ever the price, will survive, the question is how much of the value of the dying chains will move to pivx? and what are you doing to improve this process?

Most likely Tesla shreholders shorting caused this market dip.

Tesla's tweet cause a lot of short sellers to lose millions in USD.

Most likely these short sellers of Tesla also are techies who bought into BTC a while ago.

They most likely cashed out of BTC and other cryptos to cover their losses.

Possible explanation.

It's a great project and im invested, but can't seem to figure out why it's not getting the traction it should. I mean.. it's dash without the premine so what gives? This coin should be valued much higher imo. You guys think pivx could have a friendlier name?

All alts are down because of the terrible market we are in. PIVX has been one of the promising coins I saw last year but wasn't able to invest in.  As long as there is development, things will improve including the price.

Thread is not dead and the Name is good. No need for another rebranding.

Altcoins are all down (and I guess they will fall further) so nothing special in this case.

if you believe in a project (no matter in which) do not sell now (maybe buy at the right time).
if not, sell and move on or rebuy later

dash had to rebrand due to darkcoin (limits reach), that was necessary smart move on their part

what we need to do and work is ongoing is to optimize heck out of the wallet, and that is going to be delivered including thorough unit test suite

Take a minute to think about the bigger picture here.

1. The entire crypto market is down, and especially alts. What's happening is not unique to PIVX.

2. People act like Dec/Jan was the 'correct' valuation of crypto, and that therefore something is now wrong. That is BS. Prices were speculative then and they're speculative now. Most projects are still far from mainstream adoption, and only adoption will lead to stable valuation that reflects actual utility. Until that happens, sure, take advantage of opportunities to buy low and sell high, but don't pretend that the prices actually mean anything.**

3. Out of several thousand crypto projects, PIVX is in the top 100 (so, let's say 95th to 98th percentile). This is despite the fact that it isn't a first mover in its space, and is a currency, which is an especially challenging niche. It has a good team, an active community, and has remained true to its vision since the start. What more can you reasonably expect? It's not Bitcoin or Ethereum, and it's not going to become those any time soon, either. But that doesn't mean something is wrong.

**OK, there is one real effect, not of the prices themselves but of the specific pattern of prices over the past year: The speculative bubble of Dec/Jan probably slowed the process of crypto adoption by scaring away 'average' investors. It will take longer for investors to forget that bad experience than it would have if prices had remained stable, and that's unfortunate. But that's the reality we're in now.

also a person calling us "ded" but shilling ark in the background had ark go down in 2 digits the next day , I dont go to various forms doing that and I have been around for a long time (I have way too much respect for various teams in various projects not to mention investors pool)
