Technically it is. But with recent growth rates you don't want to spend it.

Knowing you can buy almost anything with it sure its money, the fact isn’t printed as fiat currencies made some people to doesn’t consider it as currencie. For me this weren’t a question about being money and yes where and how to use in the daily needs, as we do with fiat.
Eehm…what’s the difference between money and currency? Lol. Even the op was asking if bitcoin is money, but surprisingly he called it “Sui generis”, which means something of its own kind. So, the answer is that money is a digital stock, and a money in its own kind.

bitcoin is a digital money currency.so yes it is a money that has very high valued in the world.
I think bitcoin is already real money for people like me. I can do everything that can be done using fiat. Bitcoins is making progress in local services. Now, we can pay our bills by bitcoins in some companies, restaurants and shops. It just resides on digital machines and cannot be touched but that’s not necessary.

bitcoin is not yet become money in real life but if the government make regulations about bitcoin, then bitcoin can be new currency. bitcoin for now is for online money which we can use to buy something in internet. but there any offline store that is accepting bitcoin as payment but its not too many and only in a few places in all over the world.
Volatility is actually one of the features that I admire. Consistent prices are boredom. I like changes. They kind of keep me alive. : p Good news is prices increase more than decreasing.
For me, it is money because I can do all tasks using BTCs that I perform with fiat. Clearly, it is money and an investment tool as well.

Of course, even better than money, money will continue to fall because of rising inflation, but price bitcoins are always rising as users continue to grow.

Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.
Actually, bitcoin is a digital money that you may use in different kind of transaction like paying bills and many more. In addition to that, mamy people believe that bitcoin is our future money and I think it will become our world currency. Lastly, I think bitcoin will consider as a real money in the future.
I agree, bitcoin can be considered as money. Like all we know, money is a paper we use to buy things. But not all money is tangible, why ? because some are just in the internet and it is called digital money. Well, bitcoin is considered as money since we use it to buy things that we want and need.

Of-course bitcoin is money. As we know Bitcoin makes new revolution for  world economic. We also know bitcoin is a digital currency.

we can exchange bitcoin with others currency anytime. bitcoin have value and convert with other currency.

We can buy any product anytime.

we can investment by bitcoin anytime.

We can transaction any time with my clients and others..

We can do any thing by bitcoin. we used bitcoin as like same a currency.

When we do anything with bitcoin that's time why we don't  call bitcoin is money . We should call bitcoin is money we have to.

Basically bitcoin is money as well, why did I said that? It is because, once you have bitcoin you or we can convert it according to the currency of the country you belong, then bitcoin are accepted as payment in the other private company like in some other Starbucks coffee shop, and other businesses or merchant that are bitcoin accepted.

Yes, bitcoin is money as it is a medium of exchange. Right now the market is trying to figure out the role of bitcoin as increasingly the world becomes more digital. Bitcoin is unique in that the number of units is capped at 21 million, allowing the cryptocurrency to function as both a medium of exchange and store of value. It also has the first-mover advantage.

It's here to stay.

I think Bitcoin is more than a money. a conventional money has some specific function but Bitcoin has different types of features. not only that, Bitcoin has become the most popular currency in the virtual market. day by day it is getting accepted at the whole around the world. in recent times, it has gained huge price value which makes it the most profitable currency in the modern world.

from my observation, Bitcoin is just not a money but it also a profitable currency. it is considering as a most valuable currency in the virtual market. Bitcoin can be used for the purpose of conventional purpose besides saving and investment. so that, Bitcoin is more than a money.

I think anything you can use to trade it for another good can be money.

There are also good that can be traded to another good but it is not called money.  That is how barter system work.  But  since several government acknowledge bitcoin as money, then it is money.  There is no argument on that because if you do, you can file a complaint on all countries that acknowledge bitcoin as money.

Bitcoin is a virtual currency. i think, when it is accepted more widely as payment for goods and services. then,we should call bitcoin  as money.

Therefore since it is a virtual currency, bitcoin is money.

And it is not just a money, there's a lot of use for bitcoin. Trading , investment, asset or name it that I didn't mentioned.

To bitcoin was a full-fledged currency, you need a lot of time. Conditions in order to be able to freely buy and sell goods with bitcoin you need people to trust this currency. How can you trust a currency with so many forks and not a steady rate?
