Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Status Update on the Next ClientWe've made quite a bit of progress on the next client, and we've been able to add in some feature which I think are quite desirable. I'm attaching an screenshot, see if you can find the features! - Testing on testnet has proven quite successful for all the enhancements, and we've been able to run some initial tests on the new installer program (No more ZIP file !!! YAY)
- We have successfully built on linux, Win32 and Win64.. and Windows 10 tests have been successful.
- We are still failing on the Mac build, but that is not to far from being solved.
- Testing of the "supermajority/softforking" code has been successful
- Andriod is supermajority/blockversion4 ready, but still needs age-verification code written in
- Testnet nodes have been installed
- Testnet blockexplorer will be up sometime next week

Like where your going with the new wallet Lava, does it include a Qr code generator for address?
Also have you thought about using a different skin for the wallet UI? IMO we need a UI that compares favorably with an upmarket escort site.

Without a doubt SXC need an Android device capable version of the Wallet for the very reason the Adult Industry can then use the Wallet for transactions. Tarting it up can come a little latter (no pun intended) There's been some overall features that all Alt coins need to adopt into their Wallets to combat various threats and I say good on LavaPit for implementing them. |

Hey ports! Good to see you pop in. And yes, it does QRCode generation, its just been moved into the "recieve/request" coins tabs. I don't think I'll ever get rid of QR codes. For what Sexcoin is, and the direction we're heading, they are a much needed part of the client. The combination of QRCode and the mobile wallet is a "must have". This one also is very good at the "sexcoin:" url interpretation, so sending a coin request via email works great. I'm also working on different angles to get an iPhone version out, and getting the Android client up on GooglePlay. Don't hold your breath on those, but it may work. You're not the only one that's been asking about a new skin. Its not off the table, but not for this release. Once again, this one has got a lot of changes "under the hood" so I would like to see it successful in the wild with the new underpinnings. After that we can look at getting a fresh UI, which I agree is something we really want to do. |

UPDATE on the New Client:Sexcoin is in the final phases of testing the next client. The Core client is based on Litecoin 0.10.4.0. There will be a "soft fork" to enable some new features, and miners are going to be most affected. The most significant changes: - Sexcoin will now have a self-reported "Age-Verification" feature, which is carried on the transaction level and written to the block-chain (more on that soon)
- Coin-control is implemented
- Block versions are being pulled straight to version 4, up from version 1 via "Super-majority" soft-fork
- Bloom filtering and other enhancements for thin clients, inherited from litecoin, will be implemented.
- Multi-Sig and other Script enhancements will be inherited.
- There is a proper 'testnet' in operation to test client and transaction code. As of this writing, dnsseeding for testnet will not be available, but the dev team has standing test nodes and a block explorer. This will be documented in the near future
- We will be providing pre-compiled versions for Win32, Win64 and OSX at a minimum.
- The Android version will also be availble shortly after the new Core release to take advantage of the new blockchain features.
As an added bonus, the dev team has a version of P2Pool available which should work "out-of-the-box" for anyone wanting to run a P2Pool. We do not have a pre-compiled widows version of this yet, but hope to be able to provide that in the near future. We need help letting miners and exchanges know of the upcoming upgrade. IF YOU MINE on a pool that is NOT LISTED, please let your pool-op know!
