Now a days, which Anti virus is best ?

I prefer a lightweight antivirus and do not use too much RAM during the cleaning process. such as ESET, Kaspersky and malwarebyts.

Kaspersky has the most robust engine. Whatever may other review, it's the best one.
Eset would come in second as low memory consumption and high level of safety.

Best free antivirus is Bitdefender, but it can't scan outgoing mails. So if you use mail client like outlook or thunderbird, then Avast is best.

I've never paid for an anti-virus in my life so I can't comment on the paid versions. Paid versions have additional functionalities, but noone really needs those. They're there just to convince unnknowing users to use the paid version.

This site makes monthly professional and scientific anti-virus comparison tests: https://chart.av-comparatives.org/chart1.php

And just be careful someone who isn't careful with internet activity doesn't lend you an infected flash drive, right? How do you monitor that?

I used so many antivirus software and finally found "Quick Heal Total Security" is best antivirus. It keeps your system safe with all types of threats not only virus's and do not slow the system.

There's really just a handful of viruses for linux and most of them are just harmless attempts some geeks wrote to prove writing viruses for linux is possible. So using linux is quite a good antivirus by itself in a way. But I do use sophos free anti-virus on my linux machine anyway, just to be sure.

I now have Kaspersky antivirus. It seems to me that until now it remains the best antivirus. I use this service both at home and at work
