In France, Paymium is officially recognized (and you can use it in many European countries). You can use services that will be "like a bank". Xapo for example will keep your bitcoins and give you a debit card to withdraw and pay in FIAT, that can be considered as a very simple banking service. You can also "lock" your stash into USD on a service like coinapult, it can be useful for small e-commerce if you don't want to deal with volatility and also don't want to deal with -for example- BitPay.
That is interesting but is there a service that will pay you an interest for holding your bitcoins?

Yes, there are som startups who claim to be bitcoin bank and pay interests for bitcoin deposits, like haoBTC, JUA.I know many ppl would rather keep it themselves.

Banks ve always been fast on embracing something they can use and profit from and this is why they ll embrace blockchain fast. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a form of direct competition to their services and it even makes them redundant. This is why I think we ll wait for at least couple more years for banks to embrace BTC.

they specifically said that they hate bitcoin, by talking about their own blockchain with their own coins, so why there should be one? also the fact that it is not regualted in many country, kinda put the bank off
it may change in the future, if bitcoin will gain some huge traction

cryptopay.me offers a lot of bank related services along with a debit card to spend your btc with the card. It doesn not offer any interests on your holdings but it seems running since a while now and quite established.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
Yes, I saw a bank in Ukraine that accepts bitcoin.

Bank will rather adopt blockchain technology than bitcoin. They will create their own blockchain network but i think it will be centralized one. Till now no any banks support or accept bitcoin.

Circle seems to have ambitions at being a bank. But then, that would go against one of the original mantras for Bitcoin........'Be Your Own Bank'

Not that I know of. Would be nice if this was available. Then again, banks do have their cons, only just thinking about the fees when I have to exchange with a bank is making me hold off from that.

What would the point be? Most of us are trying to rid ourselves from high fees and poor service and lastly centralized control over our finances. The banks will become our major competition in the next few years, with their centralized private ledgers. They have alienated many people over the years, and it is time for us to disrupt this scene and get rid of them once and for all. You would not know, if you were not one of the unbanked people of the world... or the customer who lost almost all their funds in a credit card scam. Forget Citicoin and all these wannabee's.

I highly doubt there would be a bank for bitcoins because the whole point of btc is for it to be anonymous and that bank will totally destroy that ideal.
Your statement is wrong, it's not about the anonymity of Bitcoin. It's about the decentralization of Bitcoin

Yes, some UK banks accept bitcoin only for donations not for funding own savings account or other things. I guess some third part also can work as intermediate to accept bitcoins and deposits corresponding amount into their accounts. This way we can make banks accept bitcoins virtually.
