never heard and i doubt if there will be a bank that declare it self to accept bitcoin as a deposit or any transactions.
it depend on the government rule. if a country do press realese to admit bitcoin is a legal currency to use, i think it will be possible for bank to adopt bitcoin as a real/legal internet currency.
It could not be possible because bitcoin is not money, it primarily tap with fiat to have a value. We are in a different world and we cannot merge the two due to big differences, banks are centralized while bitcoin is not. Further, if you put bitcoin in their system, we will not enjoy anymore the cheapest rate since they are making it commercialize for the people to take advantage of the profit which will defeat the purpose of bitcoin to help the majority.
I am quite sure that a lot people, where I am also part of, that will not agree with your statement saying that Bitcoin isn't money.

It also depends on how you are using Bitcoin since it is a multi purpose tool. If you use the currency aspect of Bitcoin, then there isn't any real difference when you compare it to fiat.

If you're only interested in the investment aspect of Bitcoin, then for you it's an investment. Bitcoin can be used exactly in the way you want it to be used.

But yes, banks will never adopt something that they have no control over. Banks thrive on being the central basis of everything financial. Bitcoin can't offer that to banks.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I don't think so because it is a threat to their business and so they would want the opposite. The banks want you to use them so they can charge you silly fees for every little thing and charge you money to get your own money. With bitcoin this is not the case and they banks don't like this.

As bitcoin looks to be an alternate for banking, bitcoin won't be accepted by banks. In future bitcoin backing technology gets adopted by most of the banking sectors. As a beginning one of the bank in Japan is continuously testing Blockchain technology to use based on their needs.

Well you have the point bitcoin is one of the good choice to save your money that you can get the benefits of price increase..
But we will still need banks because we can save more safe our money in banks than in bitcoin.. so if there is a bitcoin banks that accept bitcoin to deposit it is more trust build with bitcoin and we can easily withdraw it without any banks.

Buddy Bitcoin will help banks actually if they adopt it. They easily initialize their bank globally with the very fees and transaction would be very fast. As of now i didn't notice any of the bank accepts Bitcoin.

If you're talking about putting in Bitcoins into a bank account, that would be a problem because those two are very different things and they exist from different worlds. However, both are used in transactions. Both has up's and down's, they are both useful at the same time.

In our country, we can withdraw money through a bank. Either it will be credited to my Bitcoin wallet or my Fiat wallet. Which is also digital. I don't know how they (wallet operators/company) manage to do that but they made an agreement I guess with a bank that we could withdraw from. It's helpful

Usage of Blockchain technology doesn't mean that they intend to accept payments in Bitcoin. They very well know that the spread of Bitcoin can make them jobless. So they will do anything possible to combat the rise of Bitcoin.

No bank will ever accept bitcoin and i don't think we need bank. bitcoin wallets are secure enough. all we need is adoption and a easy way to use/accept bitcoin in malls or small shops.

Where did you get idea for this thread? Bitcoin is banks nightmare, there is no way banks will accept bitcoin directly.
I wish stores to start to accept bitcoins as payment, then I will have where to spend bitcoins, banks are for keeping money, I already know how to keep my bitcoins safe.
That is correct that today there is no any bank that accepts bitcoin. But I heard that there is ATM somewhere that accepts bitcoins and work as any other ATM. I'm sure that it's our future that banks will start to work with bitcoin as with any other fiat.

Not that i know at the moment. However, big bank like UBS are using cryptocurrency more and more (Ethereum, Ripple) and they have declared that they have copuple of others project with it. So I do belive is gonna happen sooner or later.

In Switzerland you can already pay taxes with bitcoin so it's a matter of time before they start accepting it.

I agree with you . BANK retains the image and the main function as a storage medium that is safe and guaranteed money. it would be difficult to think outside the box. bitcoin will change everything.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

How I wish there are banks that accept Bitcoin here in our country but I doubt if there will be in this present time, they will have to bend their rules about transparency if they will accept bitcoin and they must make a new rules for them to accept bitcoin.

Yes there is one bank in my country accepts bitcoin but through online wallet cash-out which they are partners in transactions of wallet to bank cash-out of converted fiat currency but not a btc value will be processed by the bank. My current bank right now was still on the plans which they maybe having bitcoin transactions be fully implemented that can be directly transact convertion of btc to fiat currency like using atm machines will have optional bitcoin menu and that would be great development in the future.

At least in my country I have not found any bank interested in accepting bitcoin as a regular currency, despite my great efforts to find financial institutions where I can carry out some transactions via bitcoin. In addition, the government of my country has been very critical with the use of bitcoin here.

I don't think a single bank will do any effort to embrace bitcoin because bitcoin and banks a re natural enemies bitcoin is trying to get a part of the banks business and banks don't like it.
