I think it would be very difficult for banks to accept bitcoin, because basically, the bank is a government program that is legal. bitcoin does not include transaction or investment instrument that is legal or illegal. but, I think it would be good if there are banks that accept bitcoin, because it will be easy access for users bitcoin, to turn Fiat into a bitcoin.
In my thinking, we all have no clear answers that banks accept bitcoins or not. Because someday ago, my friend told me that in some countries some banks accept bitcoins. But i am not sure it is true or not, also if it is happening than it is good for bitcoin's users. I don’t think so. I don’t know what your sources are telling you but if those banks are accepting bitcoin deposits they are out of their mind. The whole reason people use bitcoin is because they don’t have to attach their physical location, age, name, etc to their account. That would be what you would have to do with a bank. I think either you friend didn’t know what he was talking about or just misheard.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
No bank would accept directly bitcoins.Mostly, they consider bitcoin as their rival.Golden Digital bank WB2 has started accepting bitcoins. In future, most banks would come to accept bitcoins due to market pressure.

Instead of recognising bitcoin as a rival, they could just add bitcoin into their services and work with it in order to gain more profit. I know that the decentralisation which bitcoin have is really against what bank is, but, if bank only there for giving a facility to exchange bitcoin into fiat instantly I think it'll be fine. But, at the end, it's matter about the time.

This is probably easier said than done, bitcoin is the first real threat to the bank mafia in hundreds of years it is very obvious to me they are not going to welcome the newcomer with open arms and try integrate him, they are going to try to destroy bitcoin.

I highly doubt there would be a bank for bitcoins because the whole point of btc is for it to be anonymous and that bank will totally destroy that ideal.
Indeed, you are right! All banks are centralized or regulated industry while bitcoin is not centralized. although bitcoin for some other banks butcoin for them is a threat to their business. But the reality is not, instead bitcoin is very open type of source to any business.

To be honest, bitcoins in banks as a payment is possible just like in Japan that they already accepted bitcoin to their country and that means that there is a possibility for bitcoin to be accepted in banks as another type of payment, If a country or government accept bitcoin then its authorities will follow from its decisions.

In my opinion those things will occur many years from now since at this point of time the financial banking system is not yet ready for bitcoin. Instead they are now studying blockchain technology and the way to integrate bitcoin into their system rather than focusing on bitcoin.

That is right, it is easy to integrate in their system but we have to go through the KYC process which most people hate that is why they are using bitcoin. Me, if there is a bitcoin bank, I am one of those who will not use their services.

In France, Paymium is officially recognized (and you can use it in many European countries). You can use services that will be "like a bank". Xapo for example will keep your bitcoins and give you a debit card to withdraw and pay in FIAT, that can be considered as a very simple banking service. You can also "lock" your stash into USD on a service like coinapult, it can be useful for small e-commerce if you don't want to deal with volatility and also don't want to deal with -for example- BitPay.
Yes , the acceptance of bitcoin on bank depends on the country. You should consider the system of the bank in a specific country because we all know that in banking there are rules and regulation that should be follwed. If that thing may be answered i guess the bank would accept bitcoin on no time on specific transaction. Becase there is an opportunity awaits on bitcoin in a near future sure it will be a good investment for them to do.

Only a few countries banned bitcoin, in addition, bitcoin completely free in other countries around the world. It is not controlled by anyone, completely free and completely free from law. Accepting bitcoin is a sure thing to happen in the future, but it depends a lot on how much it affects the economy of a country. If bitcoin causes bad effects, it will surely be eliminated, but what I found is really nice now, bitcoin is enriching for everyone.

Several FinTech startups are trying to fill this gap, connecting the banking system and blockchain technology (and using BTC itself), acting as a payment method. I don't believe that the banking system will take a step to get closer to provide itself this payment technology. I saw some banks starting to develop things using blockchain, but BTC, noting yet.

I think that none of the banks will accept btc. They control the money, with btc can't do that, and this is something they try to avoid. And if this happens one day , this day will be not far soon.
