I've seen some A-ads advertisement advertising a bank that accept Bitcoin. However I actually did not click on these advertisement as those look scammy. Well, why would bank accept Bitcoin a very unstable currency? Just two days back, the price went from 400 to 475 and drop back to 400 all within 24 hours. With this very unstable prices, which businesses will lend Bitcoin from banks? No businesses unless it is Bitcoin related. Thus, with no businesses lending Bitcoin from banks, how do they pay people interest?

Citibank wanted to develop their own digital coin, I don't know if it will be tradable for BTC. I heard Barklays was also thinking in a possible integration. Other than that Banks accept BTC indirectly...

I don’t think so because if there’s a bank who accept bitcoin there a possibility that they can’t handle it.Bitcoin has no definite value so that all bank can approved it. As of now there’s no bank who accept bitcoin as deposit. But, i think in the coming future they will be a bank that can accept bitcoin as deposit of their client or costumer.

I'd give it at least 2 more years before they successfully incorporate bitcoin into their systems. I mean they'd have to pretty much redo most of their legislation to comply with national laws and whatnot. Being a bank you get the perk of integrating new stuff really slowly.

So to answer you question, no currently no bank accepts bitcoins. There are many banks however that show interest to bitcoins.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
So far, I don't know any Banks that accept bitcoin. I think Banks are resisting bitcoin. They won't accept bitcoin. We can put bitcoins in our wallets, which is very safe. I think that in the future, when bitcoin is recognized by all countries around the world, Banks may consider opening up the bitcoin business.

Banks ve always been fast on embracing something they can use and profit from and this is why they ll embrace blockchain fast. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a form of direct competition to their services and it even makes them redundant. This is why I think we ll wait for at least couple more years for banks to embrace BTC.

Bitcoins were not accepted by banks, but banks are moving forward with the blockchain technology. As a part today bitcoin's technology was used by one of the largest bank of Abu Dhabi, named NBAD for the cross border transactions. On a speech it is expressed that it gives convenience and flexibility to the customers.

they specifically  said that they hate bitcoin, by talking about their own blockchain with their own coins, so why there should be one? also the fact that it is not regualted in many country, kinda put the bank off

it may change in the future, if bitcoin will gain some huge traction

Not that I know of. Would be nice if this was available.
Then again, banks do have their cons, only just thinking about the fees when I have to exchange with a bank is making me hold off from that.

As of now, I haven't seen any news about the banks who is directly accepting bitcoins. Because banks can't hold any amount of money without knowing its clients as per their general rules and bitcoins is anonymous that is why they can't directly handle this coin.

I don't think that there are any banks out there, who legally accept Bitcoin. There are a few in Poland who issues debit cards which can be loaded with BTC. But even they are cautious about accepting BTC directly from the clients.

the bank does not accept bitcoin, but it is the blockhain wallet that converts bitcoin into money and sends it to the bank. So far bitcoin is still one of the commercial currencies and has not been legalized by the state to be used for transactions

I don't know if there is, here in the Philippines we use coins.ph to convert our bitcoin into PHP money, so that if we want to pay out, we will go to the selected branch requested from the application to have it.

WB21 will be the first digital bank to accept deposits in bitcoins from customers wishing to transfer funds to their current accounts.
WB21 customers will now have the opportunity to use crypto currency to transfer their deposit funds to current accounts. The bank has more than half a million customers around the world, which allows it to create real-time deposits using bitcoin, as well as another 18 national currencies currently offered. Among them is the Russian ruble.WB21 will use the services of the operator of crypto-currency payments BitPay. In fact, it is very likely that customers will be able to deposit funds in bitcoins with zero confirmation, speeding up the process of receiving funds for their current accounts.
For a digital bank to start accepting a crypto currency in the form of deposit accounts was far from easy.
"The bank that takes bitcoin looks rather unusual, but it makes sense to us, and it also gives huge benefits to our customers," said Michael Gastaire, Founder and CEO of WB21.Gastar stressed the advantages of the crypto currency and its potential to overcome any boundaries and regulatory obstacles.
The problem for many of our customers is that we do not support local accounts in all countries. By taking bitcoin, our customers can instantly transfer funds to their WB21 account from any country in the world.Once they send the bitcoin to our address, we convert the bitcoins into the currency that the client chose for his current account. These tools can be accessed instantly in WB21, then transferred to any other bank via bank transfer or used with the WB21 debit card. The process of converting bitcoin into cash in a bank account is the fastest of all that I know. For us, adopting bitcoin will be an excellent way to support our global expansion and improve our experience of depositing customer funds.

Once again,
Bitpay.com
Already accepts BITCOIN and converts to USD.
They give you a Visa card that works in ANY store, and at ATMs.

In our country is just a bank that accepts bitcoin, that's just a security bank, it's good to have many banks that accept bitcoin so we can just get some money from bitcoin.

unless you converted into fiat before depositing i dont thin your funds will be accepted by banks, and i dont see in the near future that bitcoin or any other altcoins will be accepted for such.this is not how banks works so its not appropriate for them to accept it

Once again,

They dont accept it,they just let you convert you bitcoin to fiats, its different on accepting bitcoin as payments or funds

There is a group of Banks that are prepared to implement Bitcoins to their payment system. In some country, there are some banks accept the bitcoin and some nation not accept the bitcoin because they considered the bitcoin is a competitor. I wish that in our country there are banks adopt the bitcoin because bitcoin is now consuming everywhere in this world and many individuals are around willing accept bitcoin.
