I have not personally heard of such banks, but I regret to say that there are none in my country... In fact, while it is illegal in the country in which I live.

In my view, bitcoin and banks are enemies. If bitcoin is indeed widely used in the world, banks will simply disappear or shrink significantly. Therefore, while I do not know any Bank where bitcoin would be accepted.

I have no direct knowledge about bank acceptance but my colleague who is now earning from
Bitcoin had her transactions made thru bank so I guess it is accepted. And as far as I know there is no policy prohibiting the same.

I think no bank accepts bitcoin for now. But thru banks you can withdraw your bitcoin by converting it into your currency. There are some banks in every country partners with bitcoin like in my country we used it by converting into cash.

Maybe for the moment there is no bank yet ready to accept bitcoin. Some countries even close your account if they found out that the source of your funds came from cryptocurrency. Im not really sure why they hate crypto this much that will do anything to shut it. I just hope these banks will find a way to adapt crypto instead of fighting it.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

Shocked :oHere in our country, I guess like nothing else; all we can do is to convert our bitcoins in fiat money, even if not, when we cash out it is automatically converted and withdraw from a bank. So there is still no bank that accepts bitcoin for making a deposit in our place. Cry

Bank of America has filled a patent to open an exchange .. Most Likely, banks will start accepting bitcoin deposits and withdrawals very soon - may be in a matter of 1 to 2 years.

Here are the details

Currently no banks accept Bitcoins in its form. They trade/transact in government backed fiat currencies only.
Although Bitcoin is a legal payment tender in some countries. Your traditional banks do not directly deal with Bitcoin. There might be some intermediary who convert Bitcoin to local currency and vice versa.

Most of the countries on the world did not ban Bitcoin, only some countries and one large country (China) banned Bitcoin because the government of these countries feel Bitcoin as a threat for the future of their countries.
Recently, few banks accepted Bitcoin for investment and loan from Visa/MasterCard.
Example Liechtenstein bank opens up cryptocurrency investment for clients in the last month, it proved Bitcoin can get accept from the bank in the future.

Some Banks are accepting bitcoin as an investment, as in Japan. Japan already sees bitcoin as a currency.

But now only a handful of Banks accept bitcoins, and if they want more Banks to accept bitcoins, it will take a long time, and bitcoin has to be technically updated.

I do not think that we will accept bitcoin. Banks currently only trade on the legal currency. They may also not accept bitcoin because only a few governments accept bitcoin. Most countries are wary of bitcoin

Maybe when there is a proper regulation bank can accept bitcoin, it would become a currency if the government will allow.
Banks are operating under the supervision of the government and they follow laws but since bitcoin is widely use then I am sure banks can also benefit on this.
