You are fortunate! I would split it n 2 and save the first half and, you can, optionally save it all, if you want. Or else, you can do the same split and buy an antminer S7, where-ever you can find one and mine many SHA-256 cons and sell them on the exchanges, you lucky ****. What skil have you got that brought this on, may I ask?

Or build mining rig? Roll Eyes

Maybe you can invest your bitcoin, buying some goods, or maybe you can start to learn about trading with your 1,5BTC to earn profit every day. Another thing you can do is hold your bitcoin. Maybe you can see the price raising like a rocket in five or ten years later, but you must be careful with crashing price.

You can buy a S7 and use a multipools to mine the coins and exchange to bitcoin. You can earn more bitcoin by doing that.

Do nothing and wait. You can't trust anyone with your coins if you invest them. Maybe a couple of long standing gambling sites but that's it.

If you don't need to spend it, then don't. Treat it as savings and hold meanwhile.

I have been searching for a bitcoin investment firm that pays out an interest on your bitcoins. Does such a place exist?

I have heard of places like BTCJam where they would give you interests by having your money on their wallets, similarly, casinos offer investors the possibility to deposit their money on their stake to get interest back, of course you are just assuming that those sites are legit and will not take the money and run which is the favorite sport in unregulated/no collateral type of BTC business.

Yeah, BTC Jam is a good place to invest.
I would say it is the best thing to do with 1.5BTC since you can earn upto 15% if you invest them in loans.
Would recommend you to trade Bitcoin as well.

If you have time you should read and educated yourself about trading.
But when time is limited, holding and waiting for an increase is better.

Investing and gambling are two completely different things. Hate people who compare them.
I would not recommend gambling .5BTC away. Instead, invest it intelligently.

If you can afford to tie up that amount of capital, then just hold it.  Do absolutely nothing with it.  Bitcoin hasn't yet been widely adopted as a currency, as there aren't a hell of a lot of vendors who take it and you can buy everything you need with fiat.  It's good for speculating, though, so I say do that.  Just hold it, see where the price goes.

Investing into altcoins is a plan, but if you are smart you stay away from it.
It's not profitable because of so many scammers. I would advice to hold it on your local wallet then sell it when the price is high.

Altcoins have always lost me money, so i agree, bad idea. I would just hold it as well. Every time I spend it, it goes up shortly thereafter.  Roll Eyes

It's not always like that to me. I still can survive in altcoin trading.

It's depend on your research, when you're trading altcoin.

Yes, i can't avoided loss in trade altcoin, but i can still manage to get enough profit to recover my lost. Lost and profit is normal in trading.

No one can always profit 100% in trading. Just make sure do research before trading altcoin.

If i have 1.5 bitcoin i will invest all my bitcoin into gambling. And i'm sure i can make more and get profit from gambling. Play safe, do research on both teams. Oh, i bet on sportsbook.
